Unfortunately you can’t use this ad size if you’re using sidebar, in our demo that image it’s just an example and it’s resided to 640px width (post contend width using sidebar)

Unfortunately, there’s no ideal size, if you want to display something to the left and right of the content area like for example – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag_fashion/td-post-taylor-swifts-stylish-separates-in-germany-shop-them-here/ you have to take in account the content area width – http://screencast.com/t/gUzSJbQW9I and create a background image based on that – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag_fashion/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/fashion-bg.jpg and use it like this: http://screencast.com/t/ZbPvjtikphb
For best graphic results you could use a full hd image (1920x1080px), make sure you compress it, you don’t want a large file, it will slow page loading speed.

I’ve already turned off all plugins, except the VC, but the issue continues. In the Chrome’s console, the only error is “Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL”, and it doesn’t appear in the demo version. Also I’ve seen the minify case in the All In One SEO Pack (I don’t use the Platinum SEO Pack plugin), but this feature doesn’t exist in this plugin or in anywhere else in my website.

Currently, I’m using Tech style and the slider on homepage has a shadow, as you can see here:

However, I would like to change to default which has not any shadow on pictures like the default style:

How can I do that ?
Turn off all plugins except VC, perhaps as another tactic. Use the console in Chrome to see if errors being generated. Look at the demo to see if same problem exists.

2. I did not mean the load time of the articles, but the fact that there is a latency when you are hovering over the mega menu. Compare http://data-reality.com/ with http://themes.tielabs.com/demo.php?theme=sahifa
6. New question: Is it possible to remove the arrows in the mega menu (for scrolling through articles) and thus make the menu less high? I do not think that it is necessary to let users scroll in the mega menu, but I think that it would look nicer if it was a little smaller.

Ahhhhh…I get it. If you have 99 posts, the big grid displays posts 1-5 of the category and the archive lists posts 6 – 99.

OK so THIS is my goal:
– I want PAGE with big grid.
– I want block 11 below that lists posts
BUT BUT BUT
– I need a horizontal list of pages between them that looks JUST like the horizontal category archive menu on a category page.
In other words, I have category global settings as Style 1, Article display view of M11. But in between them, there is a horizontal menu of categories.
I want a section that would list my pages w/ the css / layout that matches your horizontal menu of categories because its PERFECT for smartphones / mobile phones / androids / iphones. I dont want my mobile users to have to open the “td-demo-header-menu” on their mobile because it appears on the left and its not always clear how to switch pages. I want them to simply click the page links. Thats it. Just as if it were that horizontal category menu…but its a list of pages.

Is there a way for you to take the php that creates that horizontal category menu, change it so that it lists pages instead…and then tell me how to insert it into the space between my chosen layout: Big Grid on top, horizontal page menu in the middle, block 11 on the bottom?

I also use wpengine and have found their cacheing to be problematic sometimes, assuming you clicked the purge caches button right in the wpe tools section? Did you turn off the CDN temporarily? Did you also try disabling Object/Transient Cache from wpengine tools?
If none of that works, I’d use the staging area, install the newsest newspaper and demo data and see if its happening on staging as well.
Hi, I’ve uploaded the demo content for Newspaper Theme but am unable to edit any of the Blocks on the home page. They all show in visual composer but all I can do is rearrange them, can’t change titles, colors, or content. Please help!
Also is there a slider feature we can use in the Ad Block locations to have our own personal ads rotating in those locations? I found the code to create a responsive static image but would like a rotating image instead.

I have copied all of my content over from my old website (http://onyxmagazine.com) to the new wordpress website (http://onyxmagazine.starroyaltyent.com/) I installed the newspaper 6 theme and when I did all the content has disappeared. (It’s still on the wordpress site as I can see it in the post page) We want to replicate the exact homepage style as: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/homepage-newsmag/ But when we try to do this we receive this error:

We’ll review the documentation for Revolution Slider, but were just wondering, based upon your experience with it and your decision to include it in the Newspaper package, is it capable of styling in a similar way to Big Slide and also pull in Featured posts with titles?
Will try regenerate thumbnails after your review and comment. Not clear why we would have to regenerate thumbnails when only original images were uploaded to existing/first-time install of version 4, but would be happy to try. If it works, would we need to regenerate each time we add content to the slide?

Can you provide a link so we can take a look? As I’m not sure how IOS Slider looks on your side.
Do you use version 4 of the theme? If you do please note that on our demo is used latest version of the theme 6.3.2. Also in version 4 IOS Slider is available and it can be used on 1,2 or 3 columns. The Big Slide can be used only on full row. Regarding Revolution Slider here you can find plugin’s documentation – http://revolution.themepunch.com/documentation/

2) For slider, I was using Revolution Slider, like it was in plug-ins recommended by the theme (thought there was no other slider, my bad, sorry). So, I use Big Grid now, its way more simple to use 😮
3) Like Rev Slider is not used anymore, the question is solved.
So, with using Big Grid slider, the bottom part of the picture does not show (http://hpics.li/2ffb407) like on the demo http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-2/. I tried to have a look to the Big Grid options or theme panel options, did not find anything about it, and the same to manage options if it is possible (like show/not show the date, the author…) neither. Where is it please ?

For some reason, our slide doesn’t look anything like the demo link above. Is the “IOS Slider” you mentioned the “Slide” option that we can select when adding an element in Visual Composer? Only other options I see are “Big Slide” (which won’t work across 2-column) and Revolution Slider, which I’m not sure can be formatted to display Featured articles with titles (can it?).
Another slide issue we continue to have is that our images are always appearing slightly too small for the area, (screenshot here) so the title and category boxes hang over to the left. Doesn’t seem to matter how large the original image is or even the proportion. I’ve seen references to this in other forum posts but no solution that looks like it applies to us. Would appreciate any suggestions.
