Hi Calin!

Thanks, I already did remove all the obvious blocks from the cloud templates. But I still see the HTML in every flex block, only hidden via CSS because I set in the theme panel, that I don’t want author info.

e.g.
<span class="td-post-author-name">

It would already help me, to point me to the location in the theme code where this is rendered – I might just remove it there.

Best

Hi Roularta, for the moment we do not recommend to set two posts loop on the same page/template, please use a flex block or anther block, because most of the settings from the first loop element will be set for the second one.
If is a pro demo you can use tagDiv Composer to change one of the Popular categories block and replace or edit it with other block -> https://i.imgur.com/owIgJ4P.png
Thank you!

Hi,

After you install the theme and you activate it, you can import the demo you like -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ then all you need to do is to add new posts to your website, also maybe you want to make some changes for categories, then you can adjust the posts you want to display on your homepage using tagDiv Composer and our guide for blocks -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
If this is not what you mean, just let me know!
Also if you have other questions, do not hesitate to ask, we are here to help!

Thank you!

Hi maltardesigns,

Unfortunately for the moment I do not know an estimate time for the next update, sorry!
There is an old topic about how to do it manual in theme code, but I do not know if this is still working and the option is only for classic blocks that can be find on this path -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/includes/modules-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-show-postviews-instead-og-commentcount-on-frontpage/
If you want to apply a filter/sort you can do it using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/ohLGGAI.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

Thank you!

Hi ladof,

What you can do is to use the options from here -> https://i.imgur.com/SKx2eM1.png
Also please note that we recommend to use only one post loop per page/template if you want to use more we recommend to use flex blocks -> https://i.imgur.com/3vdxGSB.png
Also on pages you can use the option for unique articles -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/

hi,

How can we modified a Flex Blocks with custom fields?
For example: Change Author Post for and custom field called “Autor” (Sometimes, an article has 2 authors)

Best regards

Hi Sophia_FACES,

Yes, you can do that using flex block 1 but, you need to use 3 flex blocks exactly like posts loops (there are set 3 posts loops with offset on them), if you want, you can import the post loop from tagDiv Cloud Library to see how it was made. You need to make only the first one, after that use the right click to copy paste the block and only change the image position from left to right and set an offset -> https://i.imgur.com/YM23LeO.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/626KBlK.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/pQKaFOs.jpg

hope this will help you!
Thank you!

This is the link to my website https://www.netsportworld.com
The first block is a flex block 3 and the second block flex block 1
My latest posts are posted in the top block flex block 3.
My goal is to let older posts be moved to the second block 1 as the first block reaches maximum number of posts.
How do I achieve this. Thus latest posts in top block and older posts drop to block below it. Thanks

Hi,

I want to create a block with flex box 1 containing 6 posts, but I want each image to be on opposite sides in sepearte rows.

Like this loop block – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_garden_pro/loop-garden-pro/?edit_url=null

Is it possible to have 6 posts placed like the loop block in one flex box or do I need to create 3 seperate flex boxes and make one big block of it?

Hello !

Please replace the normal block with a Flex Block. Flex blocks do offer more customization possibilities as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/CD8dZjhFKCKX

Thank you !

Hi.
I would like to know if there is a way of fixing a post at a Flex Grid Block.
The idea is to have a Flex Grid Block that shows latest post but have one or more posts set to be always displayed because they are sponsored.
Is it possible to do that?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Alberto

Hi nitesh9291, the problem is that the images that you are using has a small width and a big height, therefore in order to make the image to be display in the full size, you’ll need to edit the homepage with tagDiv Composer and make sure that you are using only flex elements, these can be adjust per with and height, also you can choose the image thumb that you want to use, here is an example -> https://i.imgur.com/Zl9CMYy.png -> https://i.imgur.com/1mZMI1l.png -> https://i.imgur.com/CADq6A4.png is indicate to use one of these size that are YYYx0px -> https://i.imgur.com/czSrIio.png

Hope this will help you!

Hi,

The predefined blocks like the one you are using, can only be used in these layouts in the composer https://prnt.sc/ue8orh They will display correctly if used in a row split like that. If you enter them in a different layout, they will most likely not display correctly.

Please use flex blocks instead https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks These can be used in any layout.

Thank you!

Hi!
I have a qeuestion.
I am using Flex Box 4 and when I change proportions, my images also are getting cropped.
There is a vertical alignment option which works great to capture what I want on the image, however wanted to do it horizontally as well.
The point is that when I change proportions, the text on the image gets cut. I wanted to make sure the text (or any other object I want on the picture) is there.

Do you have any suggestion for me please?

I’ve just installed the newspaper theme and opened tagdiv composer on a newly created page and whenever I click something that I assume would pop open a window, the screen darkens but no window appears.

E.g. if I want to delete an element (such as big grid flex 5 in my case) or if I try to click edit – both examples shown here: https://imgur.com/a/ZIST1zq

Clicking anywhere removes the overlay.

Can someone help?

Thanks!

Hi,

What are these alerts exactly? Are they posts? You can split the rows in the composer into columns https://prnt.sc/ud0wwg
You can stretch the rows to have a wider layout https://prnt.sc/ud0xfj
You can use inner rows inside rows, to have even more columns if needed https://prnt.sc/ud0xyr

Then you can enter the blocks you want, check the cloud library as well, maybe you find one that you can use for this task https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks There are quite many designs in the cloud library.
Each block has a post limit, you can limit the posts as needed https://prnt.sc/ud0za1

The guide is here https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

Thank you!

Hello !

You can achieve this by setting this in the block settings as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/Nbl7MXkLyW Please note that this will only work on Flex Blocks.

Thank you !

Hello !

Unfortunately the only options available for any Flex block can be found in here: https://www.screencast.com/t/SgyhPfwvRnA

At the moment there is no other option for this to be achieved.

Thank you !

Hi,

Does that happen after using the codes from above? Or when does that happen exactly? All blocks and grids have responsive design by default, making modifications to them could cause problems.
Each block and grid (except flex blocks) will use a thumbnail specially created for it, so they will all be the same.
How can I see that issue happening exactly? So I can try and find what causes it.

Thank you!

Thanks for your info Vlad!

We know all your suggestions. We also know that when we activate the mobile theme, a lot of flexibility for the design of mobile pages disappears. As we know these, we do not want to use the Mobile theme.

We want to design a different homepage for use on mobile devices using tagDiv composer. We will not change the home page running on the desktop. However, when our site is requested to be viewed from mobile devices, we don’t know what we should do in order to display a different home page designed for mobile. It will probably be necessary to write a small piece of code for this. If we can get the answer to this question, we can apply this method for other pages besides the home page.

I hope we explained it right.
