Honestly the best way to do this would be to simply deactivate standard pack, and replace all the blocks ( You will have to use Flex Blocks ) add Single post/ category templates from tagDiv Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/ ; https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/

I think that you want to display in a block more then one category and you want to have control over the category you filter, if is so then you can do this using this option from blocks, flex blocks and grids -> https://i.imgur.com/1grvcfr.png the name was change because now it can sort more then categories, you can hover the text for more details. 1. If you use only cloud template and replace the blocks with flex blocks, then you can disable the standard pack, also these cloud templates are made using shortcodes for each element from inside the cloud template that can be set with tagDiv Composer in the place you want, also the cloud templates will be save in database not in a php file.
The cloud templates are working only with tagDiv Composer, therefore if you change the theme, you’ll no longer have access to them.
2. What we can recommend is to use an PRO demo and only adjust it after your needs, in this way you do not need to make a lot of customization, also you can choose from tagDiv Cloud library the templates you want to use.

The theme is not so complicate, but most of the old users are afraid to use tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library, we recommend to play with thee on localhost after that to make a staging site like BruceInLouisville, now the theme provide the freedom to do almost everything, if you are looking for a simple theme we can recommend to use Newsmag theme, this is more basic, without so many options and cloud templates.

Please make sure that you have your own articles, after that you can edit the homepage using tagDiv Composer click on the flex blocks and check to see if there are set some filters or not.

I already have everything correct, except that when I import a header to customize it, this error appears in the editor above the menu:

Hi there – can you tell me how to style these elements (see link). The filters for my flex block and the rollover color of the links under “more”. Alternately, I if I can more easily change the background color of the ajax dropdown, that might work as well. Thanks!

Using tagDiv Composer and add an Flex Block 1 it should look like this -> https://i.imgur.com/BXeH3Ce.jpg if for is is different, please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict also please check the options from the flex block -> https://i.imgur.com/aIxtl3x.jpg or maybe you use a Big Grid Flex -> https://i.imgur.com/YnhDv1S.jpg

If this is what you want to achieved -> https://i.imgur.com/Xxw3SuK.png then you can do it using the settings from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/auroCKV.png set on each category the tag color.
If you are referring on this -> https://i.imgur.com/auroCKV.png then you can change it only on flex element -> https://i.imgur.com/IsCX0MX.jpg the colors set in theme panel will not apply.
If this is not what you mean, please provide me some more details.

I wonder if you can help with a possible solution for our publication Wise Living Magazine?
I’m trying to create a colour change state on mouseover when the cursor hovers over a Block Header 8 title.
I can get all other elements to change colour on hover (such as article title) using a FLexblock. I can also add a URL link to the Block Header 8 title, but it would be great for navigation if the header title (such as ‘Your Garden’ on the linked-to image example) change colour on mouseover.

The problem with Flex block 1 is that it does not show a title or an extract or ‘read more’, only the image appears, how can I fix it?

thanks for your reply, we have no problems with using it, but it’s not working correctly. We have issues for example with Flex Block 5, with an imported cloud header template (Fashion Pro) and with others.

Unfortunately for the moment there is no option for this, is possible if you are not using a Pro demo and you have only standard blocks not flex to use the settings from theme, panel, but these will not apply on all elements, only on few -> https://i.imgur.com/JpETfzi.png but on flex and cloud templates will not apply, sorry fore the inconvenience!
From what I know there will be add in our this kind of option in coming updates.

If you are not using the mobile theme plugin, and you are not using a cloud header like this -> https://i.imgur.com/s4ufjLa.png then you should have on mobile in hamburger menu the same menu as on desktop. If you have a cloud header like this -> https://i.imgur.com/s4ufjLa.png you can edit it with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/hs7gaPD.jpg check the phone view port -> https://i.imgur.com/UCa56Mj.png click on menu and select the menu you want to display.
You have a bigger logo or in your case 3 logo you need to use a cloud header from tagDiv Cloud Library, edit it with tagDiv Composer and set the 3 logos and make these settings -> https://i.imgur.com/RJbJ1A1.png

There is no option to do that on block 4 but you can achieve this with flex block 1.

In Newspaper 10.3.1 our developers inserted an option of theme update, in this way we want to prevent these problems.

In order to make the them more flexible and to use less resource, our developers split the theme in standard pack, that contain the classic blocks and templates and tagDiv Cloud library, that is more flexible, load only necessary fonts and is faster then standard pack, also using cloud templates you no longer need a child theme for editing the website layout, you can use tagDiv Composer to adjust the layout, add/remove elements.

I’m a novice user and back to Newspaper theme! I would like some help with customising Gadget Pro please
After a new install of Newspaper 10.3.2 on a new host, I have installed the Gadget Pro demo with demo content. I want to edit the home page layout. I have clicked the TagDiv composer. First I created some new post categories, and updated posts to be in these categories (example: I created a news category and added multiple posts to news). For the first element on the top left of the page Flex Post 2, (see Pic 1) I clicked the Filter tab and set the Category Filter to News – but no content showed up. So I switched it back to All Categories – and no content is showing so it remains empty. Why doesn’t it show any posts?

I love the wide page layout, but further down I would like to add a new content block that lists a series of posts from news category, and on the right column lists a social counter, ad box and most read etc. See Pic 2. How do I set this up?

This option is available only for the flex blocks. We recommend you to use Flex blocks since they are more customizable. Unfortunately for the rest of your elements you will have to use custom css which is not covered by the support team.
