Hello

The Flex Loop Filters module shows the text –Select X– inside the drop-down box

I don’t know how I can change the word Select to the Spanish text “Elegir” (it doesn’t appear in the Newspaper translation module either). Or, if that’s not possible, remove the text directly from within the dropdown.

You can also see it better here https://www.trebol-apuestas.com/pruebas2023/

Hello!

You need to add this element: https://prnt.sc/_rJK72W0N5xK in your post template.
In that section, there needs to be a flex block, and the colors can be changed from here: https://prnt.sc/YSXBxqCHLPOs

Thank you!

Hello @nickmde !

This is achievable by editing the custom flex block X modules. Documentation about it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/edit-modules-flex-block-x/

Hello!

You can customize it and modify the elements as soon as there is a setting for it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Please provide more information (screenshots or videos) about what you exactly need to achieve.

Thank you!

Hi,

I recommend you use a Single Post Template from tagDiv Cloud Library, and you can design it with tagDiv Composer.
To display the related articles or more from the author, you can use Flex Block and filter it https://www.screencast.com/t/SEmxo13Fo2X -> https://i.imgur.com/YIg3nPP.png

Thank you!

if you want to keep those templates the only way to remove the “more from author” tab is to use a custom CSS like this one:

.single .td-related-right{
display: none;
}

Set the code in Theme Panel ->Custom code -> Custom CSS
I hope this helps you!

Thank you!

OK I found a way to block the ad, though I fear I am also blocking all admin header messages as well:

NOTE: Editing these files is DANGEROUS and can disable your website! Do so ONLY if you know CSS, HTML and general WordPress web development. You have been warned.

Normally instead of editing the CSS of the installed theme, you’d install a child theme, but TagDiv’s child theme doesn’t allow you to edit the wp-admin CSS… so you’ll need to edit the actual wp-admin.css file!

I also tried custom CSS but that is all front end facing and doesn’t affect the wp-admin section of your site. I probably could have found another

You should make sure you have a backup of this file handy. Either download copy your existing wp-admin.css file from your website or go to ThemeForrest and download a fresh copy of the theme which has the original file in it.

If anything goes wrong, make sure you have the ability to use FTP in some form to upload the unedited wp-admin.css file to your website.

OK – here’s how I blocked the ad:
In Appearance->Theme File Editor:
In the Theme Files: window, open up includes >
Then open up wp-booster >
Then open up wp-admin >
Then open up css >
Click on wp-admin.css
Now scroll down to line 380
Line 380 should show as display:flex;
Change the word flex to none so it now looks like this display:none

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Update File button.

I see no ill effects from this and I was able to restore the ad by changing the code from display: none; back to display: flex;

Until TagDiv sees the way to make this ad optional or dismissible, I guess I’m just going to block ALL of their admin area notifications and hope I don’t miss anything important!!

Hello,

I am using your theme currently, and I would like to firstly say that it is one of the best WordPress themes I’ve ever tried.

I have a question regarding the flex loop blocks.

Whenever I select a filter from the dropdown, the page gets reloaded, which really hurts User experience, is there a way to make the bock load itself, similar to this website: https://www.failory.com/tools

In my previous reply to you I indicated I had a fix – “Fixed it by using the “Flex Block 1” instead of the “Post Loop” to generate the thumbnail posts/images under the featured image (Posts Loop 2). I now realize this fix is not adequate as I have lots of categories, and would have to make a diff template for each one so that I could set the “Flex Block 1” filter to match the appropriate category.

I created separate templates and used my fix for the main post pages in my nav bar (Faces, Arts/Culture, Food/Drink/ Health, Style, Weekend Away, Outdoor Fun, Travel), but of course it is inefficient to do this for all of the Categories (see list here – https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vermbXNlLDelB_Fx1lBGPOxgBlnqQtfZ/view?usp=share_link).
• In my “fix,” the main post pages in the nav use Posts Loop 2 for the featured (large) image, and the “Flex Block 1” (set to the appropriate Category) for the thumbnail posts.
• The other Category post pages listed under More don’t have a featured (large) image. I use the “Flex Block 1” alone for the thumbnail posts. When I use the Posts Loop 2 to generate the featured (large) image and add the Posts Loop below it, it doesn’t work. When in the edit mode of the TagDiv Composer it appears to work, but when I pull up the live version of the site, the Posts Loop only shows 1 post, and even ignores the offset (set to 1). See here – https://bayarearegistry.com/category/travel/outdoors/. Pictured is Posts Loop 2 + Posts Loop + Flex Box 1. Flex Box 1 is the correct output.

I would like, for example, to edit an already pre-created column, let’s assume that it is a rectangle already inside the div tag, but I want to edit it and transform it into a square.

for example in the prints, I use Flex Block1. I wanted to edit the properties of this column, for example change the font of the message, increase the format, decrease it, in short… modify the column properties in a more detailed way

And yet, the flex block is choosing wrong category.
Do u need to leave some credentials for further investigations ?

Hello!

We are sorry that we have disappointed you. For some clients, these features are so useful.
These names (tdcpt_doctors, etc.) were given when the CPTs were created. The best thing you can do is to create your own CPTs and use them on your website.
You can edit the modules at: https://forum.tagdiv.com/edit-modules-flex-block-x/.
Also, you can add a listing, for example: https://prnt.sc/8sDZY6J8gP8m. Complete the form, and you’ll have a new listing with all the details.
Check out this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/use-google-maps-api/

Thank you!

Fixed it by using the “Flex Block 1” instead of the “Post Loop.”

Another question: How do I reduce the gap between the “Posts Loop 2′ (big featured image) and the “Flex Block 1”. See here – https://bayarearegistry.com/category/style-beauty/

Hello,

The change is not applied because there is a custom body class.
So, you can delete it from Theme Panel -> Custom Code -> Custom Body class -> https://i.imgur.com/Ex34yxc.png, or you use a custom code css.
Also, I recommend using Flex Blocks instead of blocks 1-25; those are from the tagdiv standard pack and can’t be customized as a Flex Block.

Thank you!

Is it possible to edit flex block 1 to not make the titles clickable, I want to display them on my home page, but I don’t want them to be clickable.

Thanks in advance

Hello @chrisfoxatx !

1. If you need a block on your category template, then you can add a flex block and filter by ID the posts you need to display: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

2. You can not use a category template for a page. In Cloud Templates, you can create and assign a page template.

Thank you!

Hi,

In order to make them to look the same size, you’ll need to set an excerpt on title and post content like this -> https://i.imgur.com/o8UQm5B.png
Also, you can set the excerpt on words or letters from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/c7Q8ckX.png
Here is a similar topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/flex-block-1-and-same-blocks-height/

Thank you!

I’m using a Flex Block 1 with 3 columns.

They have overall a similar amount of text but an extra word here or there is often unavoidable, especially across different devices.

I have a 1px border around the content. How do I make each meta info/column as tall as the tallest content, so that the button is always overlapping the border?

Example here: https://imgur.com/a/RpWqKKv

Edit: I know I can use flex block but they don’t have numbered pagination option.

Hello,
I want to create a bilingual website (arabic & english) using the WPML plugins. I chose MAGAZINE PRO (Pre-Built Websites) and created the home page in Arabic and linked it to home page in English.
But I have several problems:
1. When I change the direction of the main menu in accordance with Arabic, the English main menu also changes according to Arabic. I tried to create two separate pages, but to no avail, as I want the main menu for Arabic to be on the right side and start from right to left (RTL), but for English I want the menu be on the left end and starts from left to right, and the same problem is also for the mini menu
with regards.
2. For the main style (Big Grid Flex), i want the large main picture to be on the right side for Arabic and the left side for English
As for the Flex Block menus, I want them to be compatible with Arabic, so that the title and thumbnails are on the right side and for English on the left side.
3. I changed the CSS code for the Arabic page, but it affects the English page as well, so i don’t know how to fix this problems.

Can you provide me with a quick solution to this problem, as unfortunately the pages are not suitable for languages.

I have a 3-column Big Grid Flex 1 at the top of the home page and the third article is being stacked below the first, with a blank spot in the third position on desktop and tablet sizes. When I’m in the TagDiv Editor, it looks correct. I installed the most recent theme update.
