Hello @ikaris!

Normally, if you use a cloud/PRO template, then you can edit the homepage for example with the tagdiv Composer and you can edit the elements in header and footer too.
If you use a default header, then you can’t edit it with the TagDiv Composer. So, you need to import a cloud one from Cloud Templates: https://tagdiv.com/how-to-use-the-header-builder-and-tagdiv-cloud-header-templates/. You can do it from scratch also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg

Thank you!

Hello Michal,

1. Seems you have the header style 3 -> https://i.imgur.com/0379e6K.png, so please check it, or you can import a header template from tagDiv Cloud Library and you can adjust it with tagDiv Composer.

2. You need to change the color of the sub footer or for the text, but also, I recommend you to use a footer template -> https://i.imgur.com/oqlBk52.png
To change the color for style footer from theme panel, you need to go in Theme Colors -> Footer ->Subfooter -> https://i.imgur.com/liq1UgA.png

Thank you!

Hello,

I verified your website and the footer seems to be the same on the posts and pages ->https://www.screencast.com/t/VC1XIEtTMEro
Also, I recommend you to use Cloud Templates, instead of to use templates from Theme Panel, you can customize the Cloud Templates layout with tagDiv Composer.
Also, on our channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOT1RiNysIPCTPSnVZskwtQ, you can find more videos that can help you and documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/ and you can ask us here on the forum or email if you have any questions.

Hi,
If you are using a cloud footer template, then you can set the embed code by editing the homepage using the tagDiv Composer, scroll to the footer and set in the footer zone a column text or text with title and set in it, in text zone the embed code -> https://i.imgur.com/QXIGNly.png (it can also be use the html element).

Hi,

This does not work for me because i cannot translate cloud templates. I cannot even edit them with composer – https://prnt.sc/26cqeo1

Also, the header is not a cloud template. I am using the Style 3 – Multipurpose and i use different menu’s for every language.

I cannot find a solution for my situation. The last thing i want to do is to copy-paste the footer i created on every page.

Waiting for your reply soon,

Thank you.

Hi Calin,

Thank you for your answer. The Polylang plugin does not traslates only strings. It allows you to create different templates per language.

As for the footer, i am using a page, not a cloud template. – https://prnt.sc/26cd8sc

The problem that i am facing right now is that even if i use multiple languages, i cannot choose different footer for each language, meaning i can set only 1 footer for the entire website.

Even if i translate this page, i cannot set it for my english version of website. – https://prnt.sc/26cd9f9

Is there nothing else i can do to make this work?

PS: The WPML plugin is not free. Thats why i am not using it.

Waiting for your reply soon,

Thank you.

Hi,

So, if you no longer want to use tagDiv Standard Pack, then please make sure you use cloud templates, for header/footer/category/posts, etc.

Hi,

I’ve installed the theme and imported a prebuilt style without all the content in it. I’ve managed to edit the Cloud Template – Header and Footer Template so have the logo in etc but can’t for the life of me find where to change all the default fonts and colours?

Tried Global in the Header template…
Global

Changed all in Theme Options:
Options

Changed them in the Category Template (include the colour of the tabs):
Template

But…none do anything front end to the content???

https://correspondent.theabbey.co.uk/

Do I edit theme all in the templates and ignore the theme options?, or leave templates alone and just do theme options?

Thanks

Andy

Hello,

The standard styles from Standard Pack were populated with posts from certain categories that were imported with that demo, categories that are not added to the new demos because cloud templates are used -> https://i.imgur.com/9dNfNFS.png.
A solution is to create the footer as I said above, or you can import a footer template from tagDiv Cloud Library -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nE51MfLV7hE -> https://i.imgur.com/PKuhR6E.png

Hi,
If you do not want the mobile theme, then try the mobile page, what you need to do is to convert the pages and cloud templates to mobile pages and templates. -> https://prnt.sc/263dbqj -> https://prnt.sc/263ddw9then edit one of theme with tagDiv Composer and convert the header and footer -> https://prnt.sc/263diuk -> https://i.imgur.com/bb811mB.png
I hope this will help.

Hi,
You need to make sure that all your templates are from cloud, this can be done easily if you install a pro demo, but before this please make a full backup. (steps to disable the standard pack).
The second method required some more time, but is better. What you need to do is to import the cloud templates from tagDiv Cloud Library and assign them (replace the homepage, category, author posts, header, footer,.. templates ). After all those are done, disable the tagDiv Standard Pack, if there are no shortcode on website, then you replaced all standard elements, but if there are, the set back that plugin and replace that element.
Also you can make those changes on subdomain and when everything is done just transfer theme on live website.
Thank you!

Hello,

Our theme is a frontend theme for most of the elements and changes, you’ll need to use the tagDiv Composer to edit the pages and templates for posts/categories, etc => https://i.imgur.com/I3OUYxr.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/mMrEufY.jpg
Please check this video about how can create a website from scratch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg with tagDiv Composer.

Hello!

You can access the homepage and edit them with the TagDiv Composer(scroll till down for the footer). From the Website Manager, you can choose which footer and header to use if you have both templates installed. You have the possibility to assign a header for a page and other header for another page.
Documentation here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/

Hope that helps you!

Hi,

All pages, sub-pages and articles on our site work with templates that we download from “Cloud Templates” which maked changes according to our wishes. Header and Footer work the same way. The “Header 2 Overlay” title we use on the homepage is also used for other article templates.

It was working fine until I updated it to 11.4 which is the latest version of Newspaper theme. After the update the Mega menu structure was broken as seen here. Although the same menu is defined for this template, there is no corruption here.

When I open the homepage with tagDiv composer, there is no corruption in the menu, as can be seen here.

When I open the homepage in a browser where we are logged in with the admin user, there is still no corruption as seen here.

I tried many ways. First, I opened the homepage with tagDiv composer and saved it again. I did the same for Header. I cleared all cache on server and browsers; the problem is not solved.

What do you recommend?

Hello @hindistack!

You do not need to edit from Cloud templates. If you have a cloud/PRO template, but you can’t edit the footer, then edit your homepage with the TagDiv Composer, scroll till footer, click on footer zone and you can edit/delete the elements there.
Please check this issue from Jetpack here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/

Thank you!

Hello @MarijaZT!

If this block is located into a row, then you can save as an element and use it on other cloud templates: https://www.screencast.com/t/kVxpDT9SV. The saved elements you can see it in the end of the other blocks when you add an element in the TagDiv Composer.

You can add an element called “Button” and set the full link from your products page.

I can see that you set the link to this page: https://misstoma.com/shop/, so the button works well. Please change the link.

Edit your homepage with the TagDiv Composer, scroll till footer, click on that text and you can edit/delete it.

Please check our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-newsletter-plugin/

The issue about Facebook like button has been already discussed in this topic, please check: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/facebook-button-dont-word-on-the-new-version/

Please add the element called “Woo Product Block”.

Ok. For example, you can post your products on pages and set up a button with a link for the external shop.

Please try to edit it with the TagDiv Composer. I just explained above how you can set up a link for a button.

Thank you!

Hi guys,

Please, I need some help with your Newspaper theme. I’m currently redesigning a site and I created a footer with the cloud templates and after activating it, I can’t edit the sub-footer (bottom footer) of the theme area.
Also, when I try to edit it from the cloud templates, it’s not giving the option to use tagdiv composer only on that footer template.
