Hi,
You could choose one of the other footer templates, which display the title for these sections. Here you can see how all the footer templates look
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Thanks
You need to actually choose one of the other templates for the footer, not the default one in order to use the widget areas. Try changing to the blank one with three empty colums, then save. Then clear any caching; try clearing transients with WP-Optimize; hit ‘force refresh’ in Chrome once logged out. It does work.
Hello Ryansmccain,
In the future, before starting to create your project, I recommend you reading all of the theme’s documentation to get familiar with what the theme can do and how the theme works. Regarding on footer section, I have inspected it and I saw that you are using the Footer Template Style 1 which is default footer template which contains 3 blocks for Editor Picks, Popular Posts, and Popular Category. The first block will display you all the posts which are contained in Featured Category. Otherwise, will not bring anything. The popular posts widget do not display any image because your posts do not have any featured images set up, sorry! COnsult our documentation regarding on Footer templates from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/ and for Featured images, like here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello morebusiness,
Sorry but the theme does not allow you to make an infinite scroll for Woocommerce page products, sorry! Only available type pagination for this kind of page is numeric pagination, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/SKAc517MtnVN
The mega menu has not been designed to display the shop pages but only our posts and default pages.
If you want to hide the ads for the Woocommerce page you should use a bit of CSS code for this and target your page desired by page ID.
Notice that our theme has the own sign in/login functionality and does not use the Woocoemmerce’s functionality in this case. The Woocommerce log in should be applied only for Woocommerce elements. You should check the plugin’s documentation here -> https://docs.woocommerce.com/?s=login&post_type=documentation&search_in=3
If you do not like the design of it you should create your own style using a bit of CSS code but notice that it have to do by yourself because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Check the plugin’s settings to enable or disable all of the specific plugin’s elements, sorry!
Sorry but that question regarding on Google Translate is not theme related! If you want to know how this can be done, please google it. As a hint, you can take a closer look at this tutorial -> http://nationbuilder.com/google_translate_widget
Sorry but please notice that the standard position of social sharing networks cannot be changed very easy because the theme layout will be damaged, sorry!
.td-default-sharing .td-social-sharing-buttons {
border: 1px solid #ebebeb;
border-radius: 20px;
}
The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/R5eWwNSa
I guess that you are using the Footer template style 1 which comes by default with these widgets. If you want to change the content of it notice that you can do this only by the code. So, if you want to create your own Footer template style, I recommend you to use the Footer template style 5 according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Notice that the Editor Picks is just a simple block style 7 sorted by some default parameters as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/me51SX6Vj6h
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Those elements are predefined in the footer template you are using. The popular posts is a block configured to display popular posts (most views) while the other section will display categories that have the most posts.
These sections cannot be modified, as they are predefined. Please note that there are multiple footer templates available
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
There are empty templates that you can select, in which you can insert the widgets you want
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hW6A5g7zV
Thanks
Hi,
The socials displayed in the footer will be the ones you enter in Theme panel->Social Networks
– https://www.screencast.com/t/uPvvykgGhUK
For embedding videos all there needs to be done is to paste the video link in the post content. More information here
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-easily-embed-videos-in-wordpress-blog-posts/
– https://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds
You can also create playlist in the post content (only YouTube and Vimeo)
There is a section in the theme panel specially created for Google analytics, enter the code there, exactly as provided
– https://www.screencast.com/t/jUk2h10OkxMa
On the bottom of the page edit screen, you should have revisions, you could load a previous revision. That would revert the page as it was at that time
– https://codex.wordpress.org/Revisions
I don’t see anything wrong with the footer on the website
– https://www.screencast.com/t/orMGYatgBh
That is how the footer displays. There are multiple footer templates to choose from, maybe you changed the template used
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
The footer will become boxed (not full width) if a background image or color is set
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/
That is a category page, the module that is used to display the posts can be changed in the theme panel, per category or in general
– https://www.screencast.com/t/dwJfeOf2
Thanks
Hi,
There are many footer templates that you can choose from
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Some contain predefined content and content will be added below them, others are empty templates. The demo uses footer template 1 for example
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Those three blocks are predefined in the footer template. The logo and footer text can be set in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WEtc5iIyu
Socials can be enabled or disabled in the same footer settings. The socials displayed will be the ones entered in Theme panel->Social networks
– https://www.screencast.com/t/G7EppaN9xriM
Thanks
Hello Jevgenij,
I saw that you are using Footer template style 1 which is custom made and which comes by default populate with those three widgets. So, if you want to create your own Footer template you should try using the Footer Template Style 5 according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-footer-templates-2/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
Please notice that footer templates use the Block 7 which is the first element from the left side and this block, by default is set up to display the firsts their posts from Featured Category. Most likely, you do not have any such a posts in that category and that’s why you bring nothing. You should see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/lKNhzDLwgcP
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello barronlau,
For more information about our Footer templates, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello barronlau,
Please notice that the Pick Editor is just a simple block which is automatically added with the Footer Template. I’ll recommend you to use another Footer Temple, like Template Style 5 because there you can add every block you want and place it in Footer 1,2,3, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/ Also,
if you mean how you can change the string name of this footer block, please notice that you can do this from TRanslations setting in Theme panel, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/4RuHHVYg -> https://www.screencast.com/t/wFO8QYcjEhP
Hope this helps!
Hi,
The top menu can be disabled in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/top-bar-templates/
If there is not header main menu, a text will be displayed prompting you to create or select one
– https://www.screencast.com/t/N2Y4qvS5
That text could be removed from these files if that is required
– https://www.screencast.com/t/wDGenexT0br8
– https://www.screencast.com/t/eQ166pOOv
The footer menu can be disabled in the thee panel as well
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Mft27R1ASG
Thanks
Hi,
As explained above the theme provides a top menu and a main menu, both in the header of the website. There is also a footer menu.
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/
These are the available menu options. Anything else will require theme modifications through code as shown above, or maybe try and do it through a plugin that has this capability.
There is no guide that I could provide, since implementing a new extra menu is not a theme feature.
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for your appreciation. Some footer templates have predefined content which cannot be removed, while others are empty templates
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
You can choose an empty template and insert the widgets you want in the footer sections.
Thanks
Hi,
1. The latest articles section can only be removed by selecting a different page template. It can be customized in terms of module used and content displayed, and can have a custom sidebar set
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
2. You can only chose from the available predefined footer templates. The footer section cannot be edited in a different way. There are a maximum of three columns that can be used in the footer, in which you can add widgets.
3. For blocks there is another setting in the theme panel here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/QxDosamWza92
4. The More articles box can be disabled or customized. This is a guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/more-articles-box/
Thanks
Hi,
Some footer templates have predefined content in their structure, while other templates are blank
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
The predefined content cannot be removed in the widgets options.
You simply have to choose an empty footer template, and add the desired widgets in the three footer sections
– https://www.screencast.com/t/5E4UUbdY5OyX
– https://www.screencast.com/t/IpJlSvXd
Thanks
Hello Maiko,
1)I do not understand why did not use the Default page template? -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XIoopSQmMOFG
2)If you want to use the widgets in Footer 1,2,3, you should try using the Footer template style 5. For more information about our footer templates, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
3)There’s an option for it in Theme panel, like here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ZwTU13XRCep
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Please note that some footer templates have predefined content, while others are empty templates
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
If you want to use your own widgets inside the footer, select an empty template and enter widgets in the footer sections.
Thanks
Hello ekotnar,
1)You should try to use a bit of CSS code to do this ->
.td-icon-search{
display:none!important;
}
2)All the changes for Top Bar should have to be made from Menus section in WordPress, like here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/B7Qszj4FAvrx
3)Sorry but please notice that the maximum available columns for footer section are 3 and not 4.
4)Please check our Footer Templates because there you will see a lot of options for this case. If you want to have your own footer style, you should try to use the Footer Template Style 5. For more information about our footer templates, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The Latest articles section can be removed by selecting the default page template, in the page attributes settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/dAa5WxDT
This section will always be displayed on the bottom of the page, it cannot be moved on top of the page. However you can place on pages any block or grid from the available ones, in any position or order, with the composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Latest articles could be any block you want, with the content sorted by latest and the same name if that is what you want. This is a useful guide abut the block settings and options
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Some footer templates come with predefined content, others are empty templates
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
You can choose an empty footer template, and insert the widgets you want, in the Widgets section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/boLeDbvnDf0f
There is a weather widget in the theme, more about it here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/weather-widget/
But you can try others as well, if required.
Thanks
Hi Dinesh,
1)Notice that we have a bit list of Footer template, as you can see here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-footer-templates-2/ If you want to have your own Footer template, you should try using Footer Template Style 5.
2)Check the Translations section and make your desired translations from there -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Ss81HpnK24PL Clear all the caches and check the results.
3)You should check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-using-other-ads/
4)The theme does not have any such an option that allows you to Ad a Notification Popup, sorry! Try using such a plugin for this.
Thanks.
Hi,
If you mean the post sharing in the post page, that can be disabled in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/sharing/
The socials displayed in the header and footer can be disabled like this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/top-bar-templates/
– https://www.screencast.com/t/goLzT0zL2
Or the accounts can be removed from the Social networks settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/sMnYDm3kYEm7
Thanks
Hello,
Our theme cannot go full screen width. It has a fixed width of 1078 px for the main content. On pages you can use a stretch row option from the row settings and you can force the header and footer to be full width from the theme panel: https://www.screencast.com/t/4gBGF2cG9c2q
You will not be able to make the post, categories and other templates full width though.
Thanks.
Hello OytunYalcin,
If you want to use Footer 1,2,3 for this section, you should try using the Footer Template Style 5. For more information about this feature, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-footer-templates-2/
Thanks for your understanding!
