Hi,
I have the same problem for a couple of weeks (since your update to 8.7) : I installed the last version of the theme through FTP on my website (before, I desactivated ALL plugins). (I followed these steps : https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/) I activate it, type my register number in, and clic on the install button in order to install the TagDic Composer plugin… and IT FAILS :
“Cette extension ne dispose pas d’un en-tête valide. (no valid header)
Téléchargement du paquet d’installation depuis https://…mysite…/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/plugins/td-composer.zip?uid=5a99aa9185cc4…
Le téléchargement a échoué. Not Found”
Ihave been waiting for 3 weeks and hoped that the update of the 27th Februar would have fix the bug (I read a lot of messages on the forum about people encountering problems with TagDiv Composer since these 3 weeks). Now I can not wait any more (my client does not understand) and I need help URGENTLY.
Thanks
Hello Bogdan,
thanks for your answer.
I did use the files from the theme package and updated via FTP. I did the following:
- rename unzipped local Theme and Plugin Folders to filename-update
- uploaded the folders to the location they belong
- rename existing files to filename-old
- delete the -update – Part from uploaded folders
- delete the (…)-old Folders
I did this with the Theme and all the Plugins on this screenshot
tg-amp and tg newsletter were not active before but they are now. Error massage persists.
Is it necessary to update the child-theme too? I’m still using previous versions child-theme.
Thank you!

This should not be a problem, the full theme package contains exactly what I mentioned above. The other one contains only the theme zip file, nothing else.

Hi,
The Envato plugin method is not so reliable, based on user feedback. You could try either through WordPress or FTP. These should work properly, please try one of them instead of the Envato plugin update e method.
Let us know if you have problems during or after the update, mention them here and we will help you.
Remember to make a full website backup before updating, this is always recommended.
Thanks

Hello ncguynet,
Please update the theme via FTP way according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ and leave to active only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files, clear all the caches and check the results. After you have followed all of these steps, please let us know if you will encounter any others problems.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello orrorea33giri,
Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin), access to your CPanel and FTP so we can take a closer look at it.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Lasyte_Solutions,
Please provide some screenshots with this issue so I will be able to investigate it closer. Notice that we do not have any bad reports in this case and we recommend to update the theme to the latest version of it via FTP way.
Thanks for your understanding!
Now this is highly unusual. You can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information, as well as FTP access. We will take a look.

Hello, I updated to the new 8.7.2 from 8.6. Everything was updated through ftp and everything seems to work correctly with all my old settings on the theme panel. However, when trying to edit a page and selecting “edit with TD composer” from the top bar on the actual page weblink the page just turns white (blank) and nothing happens. Also, trying to go to the pages section and selecting a page, it no longer has the Blue edit with td composer button i can select. It just shows the raw info within that page. Any idea on what i can do to correct that?

Dear Simion,
I do the backup and install the envato plugin. I get the info, that a update are
“Update Available”. If I click to this botton, nothing happends. Perhaps You have a idea.
If I download the new update and will upload via plugin I get a error information.
Is it the only way to go via FTP ?
Thanks a lot.
With best regards
Volker
I did as you said. I downloaded the theme from Envato, and uploaded it by ftp. But the problem remains. ??? bingewhat.com
Ok, I tried again. This time I did not reactivate the theme plugins such as tagdiv composer. Should I delete them and re-upload those via ftp also? Might give it a try after a while.
Every time there is an update the theme wp-admin gets broken or? After the update, the wp-admin is there as I can view the source code, however it is not viewable for some reason. Last two updates I was able to fix it by uninstalling the theme through FTP then deactivate all plugins then upload fresh version and it worked. This time not so lucky. I uploaded the original theme I was using before I purchased this on which is simple and never any problems (WordPress twenty-10 theme). Not sure if it is my server I am hosted on (siteground.com) or the theme itself. Hopefully, somebody will give me some insight on this problem, if not I will just keep the twenty-10 theme until I come up with another theme I might want to try.
The socials cannot be disabled, they should always be displayed and you can select from them.
I would suggest as a first step to deactivate all plugins, leave only theme plugins active. Check if this has any effect.
If there is still a problem, that could mean the theme has not installed properly. Try reinstalling it (by FTP if possible)

Hello RezNation,
Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme, installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. All the settings which have to be in that section on page builder should look like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/YjGP8DDS
Thanks for your understanding!
@Earned Media Replied in your other topic. If you still have a problem ,send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information and FTP access. Make a backup of the website beforehand. We will take a look.
Hello,
Please use this guide to update via ftp:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!
Can you please explain exactly how you are updating via FTP? Are you erasing files or overwriting them, etc.? Instructions on your site aren’t clear. Thanks
“Good news everyone” says, Professor Farnsworth…Being a bit frustrated with my recent update experiences I decided I would go back to version 8.6, so I reuploaded the older version via FTP and the older version of TagDiv composer as well. The issues with the wp_booster errors continued to exist, so I figured I might as well have them with the newest version of the theme instead of an older one. I reuploaded 8.7.2 and TD Composer 2.1 and everything seems to be working OK.
I am still holding off upgrading on my other website until I am convinced everything works smoothly as it should
Cross your fingers…
Hello Edward,
I have tested on my side a random post with AMP and it seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/dTtVu8Bt I suggest you make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way with the latest version of it, clear all the caches and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello blk709,
Please update the theme again via FTP way to another sub-domain for testing, install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files, clear all the caches and check the results. If you are using some untested plugins, you should remove all of these and leave just to active only the plugins from the theme.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
