We recommend doing a new clean install from scratch via FTP way with the latest theme version. Clear all the caches and check the results. Make sure that you have downloaded the latest theme packet from Theme Forest and also, ensure that theme has been installed via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/. The theme has been fully tested and we do not have encountered this kind of issue. Try to make a new clean install from scratch, clear all the caches and check the results.

The same page template is used on buddypress templates so the comments have been disabled on buddypress templates. The code check if the page template is used forbuddypress and if not, it shows the comments. https://www.screencast.com/t/WnlVKGLx

Hi, just got upgrade to theme 8.5 and begin to test it before deployment.
The videos we share are mostly on facebook but when published in the Newspaper Theme we dont get any thumbnail, in the default WordPress installation theme we do get this tumbnail, can someone with more experience point me to the righ direction, thanks…

Try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way, clear all the caches and all of the untested plugins, purge CDN files and check the results.

Seems the composer is not working properly. Please try to reinstall the theme by FTP

Reinstall the Visual composer plugin as well, deactivate and remove it then install it from the theme package.
Also check the theme system status parameters, ask your hosting provider to make modifications if needed according to this guide

1)You should update both themes. All the required files come bundled with the latest theme’s packet.
2)To be safe, you should make a full theme’s backup to avoid losing to data.
3)Yes, there are the steps which have to be followed for theme updating. Also, you should install the theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case.

Try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest theme’s method in this case. Please keep in mind that all the plugins have been tested before including in this packet and should works as expected. Also, if you are using some untested plugins with the theme, try to disable all of them because all of these might interact with the theme and causes a lot of unknown issues, sorry!

And test without any plugins. Disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

It seems to be strange what happened on your website after the new update, sorry! Make sure that you have correctly made the theme update via FTP way, clear all the caches and also, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them, leave just to active only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. If the problem is still there, you should provide your website URL so we can take a closer look at it. Also, provide some useful screenshots with the problem.
