Hello Knux0r,

It seems to be an issue which most likely happened due to a wrong installation of the theme. PLease try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP with the latest theme version, install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files, clear all the caches and check the results.

Looks like missing CSS file. Try testing page with F12/console in Chrome.

Consider ‘rolling back’ to your prior Theme install, then do proper upgrade via FTP vs using the Envato plugin.

Also, for major theme upgrades — going from 3x to 4x is like going to new theme, so you need to read all the docs to see ‘what has changed.’

Hello paologalli,

You should simply download the latest theme version from Theme Forest the theme pack and there you will found the latest theme version. After you have installed the theme via FTP way you can check your theme status and check the theme version -> https://www.screencast.com/t/siAJ5y81Mf2U.
Notice that the Visual Composer was not removed, it will be in the theme packet but we have introduced our new page builder which is TD Composer which comes ready with the theme. For more information about how you can use this new page builder and how you can safely make the transition between these two plugins, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial-2/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/

Hope this helps!

The problem is solved.
Renamed folder with plugin js_composer by FTP.
Downloaded the last package of template updates and installed a plugin js_composer from it.
Activated the new version of js_composer.
Everything works, the blocks have appeared.

Hello Chris, I saw that you already answered this to the other colleague who wrote this topic. Thanks for the feedback, but this is totally unviable for me.
Having to change the css changing class by class will be extremely labor intensive, and in case my client needs to use the theme’s resources to change the site’s source via theme panel.
I would like to know how it was solved by the staff who developed the theme.
If necessary I can send data from ftp or admin.
Thank you.

Dear,

I categorized my posts, which parent category is Saving health and one of the sub-category is Healthy life

However, on the front page, a post under sub-category- Healthy life (The post on the right) shows Healthy life in its black tab, while others posts which also under Saving health show Saving health in the black tab.

You may refer to this:

How can I fix this issue? Many thanks!

I recommend you to do a new clean install from scratch via FTP way to another sub-domain without any untested plugins which might interact with the theme core files and causes this unknowns issues. Please notice that error does not exist in our theme files and this behavior will not happen if it will be correctly used.

Hello disneylandparisinfo,

Unfortunately, I try to access your website and I cannot do this because it seems to be in maintenance mode -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ajgaO8GpA Please ensure that you have right installed the latest theme version of the theme via FTP way because this is the surest way in this regard and also, check the plugins used to be our recommended and make sure to be updated. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please remove all of them, leave just our plugins and rule out any conflicting plugins.

About the only way to stop this is to put an index.php file in there with something like a message not a public page with noindex and redirect to main site. Drop that into the theme folder before FTP update. Or, use some kind of ‘maintenance’ plugin, when doing theme changes/updates. I’ve done both, and neither 🙂

What can I do in settings to show the full image in the gallery?

Hello francedeam,

Please notice that you have to use only the Visual Composer version which comes bundled with our theme packet and not another version of it, right? This plugin was tested with our theme and should work as expected with it. To be sure that you are using the right plugin version, you should download the new theme version from theme forest and make a new fresh install via FTP, clear all the caches and check the results.

Thanks for your understanding!

Catalin, it’s not a problem with the caches. Here is the link: http://e50.4da.myftpupload.com/this-weeks-featured-artist-tim-carr-talks-photography-and-24-hours-in-havana/. You will see at the bottom of the post that “RELATED ARTICLES” and “MORE FROM AUTHOR” are both in all caps, even though the Theme Fonts > Modules and Blocks General > Blocks/Widgets Title > Transform is currently set to None(normal text). I just double-checked. You can also see in the right sidebar of the link above, that the title of the “Latest Posts” widget is responding properly, showing “Latest Posts” and not “LATEST POSTS”. As a trouble-shoot, when I change the Transform setting to Uppercase, the Latest Posts title becomes LATEST POSTS. And when I change the Transform to Lowercase, both titles become all lowercase, showing “related articles” and “more from author” and “latest posts.” So it seems that the RELATED ARTICLES and MORE FROM AUTHOR titles aren’t responding when set to None(normal text). Can you please help fix this?

Simion, I can see that you think I am over complicating things. However, if you look closely, I think you will see that I am trying to make things more simple on this website. I would like to have a gallery where visitors can see all of the posts, and then sort posts by categories. I know that this is possible with this theme through adding an Ajax filter to one of the blocks. However, then there is a separate design/layout when the visitor clicks on a category which brings them to a different category page. Having these two page designs – one with a block and ajax filter, and the other the theme’s standard category page – is confusing to a visitor, in my view. So I would like to make things more simple, having only one gallery where all of the posts are visible and sorted by category, and the category tags linking to this gallery. One way to achieve this would involve putting all of the posts into one additional category (Gallery) and then blocking that category designation from being seen in posts and blocks. You can see that this is what I have done (http://e50.4da.myftpupload.com/category/gallery/). I have linked my Gallery menu item to the Gallery category page where visitors can see all of the posts, and then search according to category. Now whenever anyone wants to click on a category tag, they will be brought to one central gallery that is navigable by categories. **The only problem is the one that I outlined above…in using the code you provided and setting primary categories, the category tags are no longer consistent. I can think of a few solutions: I can see in the Theme Panel that the theme offers the option to HIDE CATEGORY ON POST AND ON CATEGORY PAGES; is it possible to separate these into two different options? Then I could hide the category on posts, and it would still remain on the category pages. Secondly, we could find a way to block the “Gallery” tag without it clearing the category tag altogether, perhaps allowing the next alphabetical category tag to show. Finally, we could find some way to block the Gallery tag without choosing a primary category. I could also go a different route, and set up a Gallery page with a block and ajax filter, and then we could link the category tags to route to the individual category pages within the ajax filter of the block. Any of these solutions would be quite helpful. If you have another idea on how I can reach this goal, I am most grateful. Thanks for your continued efforts to get this correct.
