Hello Amanda,
I noticed that footer can be edited while editing other pages or something.
I have similar problem – not sure what I did but I just can not get mobile header working on front end. I am not sure what I did but I can see desktop header, mobile sticky but not simple mobile header. I can see it in composer but it is not on front end html.
Please advise.
Is their a way to make the logo larger using the header template Pulses pro ( I think the name is) or can be seen at
I like teh layout just would like to make the logo slightly larger.. Is their a custom CSS for this?
🙂 Thanks for reply.
The menu used is bundled in with the theme, I did not separately add the menu as a component via TDC – is there a way to edit this header menu with TDC?
Hello!
If you edit the header main menu with TagDiv Composer, in the mega menu tab, then you can find this setting: https://www.screencast.com/t/myfym4v87 Please increase that limit in order to have all the subcategories.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Is there a fairly simple way to add a second navigation area to a header? This would be something like this – https://www.espn.com/nfl/. I’m referring to the nav area with “Home Schedule Draft” and so on.
I’m probably overlooking something simple – is this doable?
I finally decided to switch from WPBakery to tagDiv composer. With the first page I tried I encounter a problem. The desktop page is working after a make over with TD composer but the mobile page is showing only header, page title, footer and Google ads. The content (posts) is not showing. When I deactivate the tagDiv Mobile Theme however the content is showing, but not in the layout I would like to see.
Would appreciate some help on this issue.
Hi,
Maybe this is just a misunderstanding of theme options, depends on the elements you use.
For example if you use a standard header style, the menu can be assigned from here -> https://i.imgur.com/pW8fSLL.png also from here -> https://i.imgur.com/dfzh9Nm.png and using the responsive version, the menu will apply for mobile too.
Now if you use the mobile theme plugin, then the menu need to be set from here -> https://i.imgur.com/z6t9Ig2.png also in appearance> menu will appear -> https://i.imgur.com/ftDSPlz.png (if you not set the menu in one of those places, then you’ll not have a menu for mobile theme and amp).
Now if is a cloud header for desktop, mobile and mobile page/template, then you need to set it with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/KYzV9l4.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/ZY3JFx8.png and (mobile page/template)-> https://i.imgur.com/OxC2eOR.png -> https://i.imgur.com/HM24lMM.png
I hope this will help you to understand better how the menus are working with our theme.
Thank you!

Moreover, you can manually interact with a chosen section/component from the page while the tool records all the involved CSS. It will generate the final CSS file for this page and also will split the rules in Critical CSS to be loaded in the website’s header.” ( https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-the-newspaper-theme-10-4-update/ )
We tested our tool on our demos, and we have such great results!

Hello,
The page speed is not related only to the theme that you are using, this is affected by plugins/content/ads/ external resources, etc.
I just checked your website and it looks that your images used on the map => https://www.screencast.com/t/YK8KTa7qT are not optimized, for example, you can use the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin, also, you can try other plugins like Autoptimize, but I am not sure if it works on the images from this map (you can contact the authors of the plugin and ask how you can set the height and width on images if you succeed then you will have a better score). Your website needs an optimal speed that’s why you need to make some settings also to help for the improvement.
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:
– https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-tips-for-newspaper-x-speed-high-cpu-usage-issues/
– https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/
However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view.
Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
Also, you can try to update on a staging website or subdomain the theme to version 11 and try our tool https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnkVapqhIHc
Our tool is running only on normal pages and not for posts or categories for example.

Hi petitefilms, unfortunately there is no documentation for how the Craft Ideas demo was made, usually, users use install the demo , also for this demo you can find some cloud versions, for homepage, header, footer, category -> https://i.imgur.com/x5HWcH1.png -> https://i.imgur.com/VtSis8N.png those can be edited using tagDiv Composer.
I hope this will help you!
Hello,
I am trying to setup header and footer. As of new version I understand that Cloud template is needed for this? I can work with header template but for footer template TagDiv composer just not working. There is no button to enable it. Take a look: https://prnt.sc/1dwm3dq
All good with header template. Please advise.
Hi mixos,
I will tri to provide some more details.
First you need to check to see if you are using cloud templates -> https://i.imgur.com/7qcHcsv.png
If you use, identify the cloud templates that you edited and copy the content from them (one by one) from staging -> https://i.imgur.com/Wo4yp58.png and pasty it in the same cloud template type (header, footer, category..) in your live website.
Also if you edited pages on staging, then you need to do the same with them t get the changes on live website.
Now, after you did the above steps (in case that you use cloud templates, if you use standard templates you’ll not have cloud templates, so you can skip that part), you need to import the theme settings -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/ after that the website will have the same settings like the staging.
Also if you added new images, make sure that you add theme on the live website.
I hope this will help better!
Hello!
We have found a problem with the sticky menu on the column option.
When it is fixed at the top, the sticky menu overlaps the column.
How can we change the margin at the top to not overlap them?

Hello,
What type of prebuilt website did you install, pro or standard?
These changes apply for example only when you use the standard header/footer templates (and other standard templates) from Theme Panel (not a cloud template) => https://www.screencast.com/t/4gApdblBu8 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/m1vrJsvHM
You need to edit the page with tagDiv Composer to make changes, like in this is a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJ
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
I checked your website and seems you don’t have the link to sign in in the header => https://i.imgur.com/2ouiqQK.jpg
If this is not your website, please provide the link.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please make sure you set the right menu in the header => https://i.imgur.com/5cBbnmL.png, because seems you have a different menu on the header => https://i.imgur.com/RTaMXkk.png and another in the footer https://i.imgur.com/1BEe6rW.png

I’m having the same problem, and I think it happened when updating to 11.
Here is my site: https://www.thecountygin.com/
The header and footer cloud templates have completely disappeared. Also notice on the homepage the coding block that’s displaying:
[td_block_4 m2_el=”20″ m2_tl=”50″ limit=”2″ block_template_id=”td_block_template_1″ m2f_title_font_weight=”700″ offset=”1″]
Hi
The link Sign in / Join is always visible in the header even though i desactivate it.
I tried to switch from child theme to normal theme but it keeps being displayed. Stopping cache plugin does not change anything.
Any idea ?
Hello!
Let me explain which options you have:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you want a responsive version for your mobile version, then you should uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin which has its own templates and your responsive version will appear automatically.
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
The CSS Analyzer is our automatic tool which is very useful for the page speed and unused CSS. Please read about it because it could help you to improve your website performance.

Hello!
Unfortunately, this plugin is not tested with our theme, but if you say that the header ad is working well, then also the custom one should work the same if you use a default template.
Thank you!
I am currently using an advertising plugin called ‘ADS Pro’.
After creating an ad space in Newspaper Theme, I entered a shortcode from ‘ADS Pro’ plugin, like [bsa_pro_ad_space id=1] in ‘custom ad 1~5’ of in Newspaper Theme ADS pannel.
In Newspaper Theme ADS pannel, Header ad, Sidebar ad, Article ad works fine. However, in ‘custom ad’, the space is captured, but the image is not displayed.
Does ‘custom ad’ require another actions?
Hello!
Edit the homepage with TagDiv Composer, click on the header main menu, Style tab and you can find where you can change the color: https://www.screencast.com/t/lK97XG55je
Thank you!
