After the most recent update and also the previous one, the Composer will not allow us to update any images or change blocks in existing templates. It saves headers and footers but not content. Huge sections are also missing from the block options within the composer, such as the ability to select social media icons for the single post share tool.
I am running the latest WordPress and Newspaper. 512 Meg memory allocated and latest PHP. Tried reinstalling and disabling plugins, no change, tried downgrading WP and Newspaper, no change. We are trying to update templates and remove older blocks to activate a new Pro temple. Hugely frustrating.
Hi, I have gone through the example of using td-api-plugin however, I wanted to do something similar for Block 7 but getting errors.
I have created /shortcodes/td_block_99.php /modules/td_module_99.php and created td-api-plugin.php similar to what it is said in the tutorials here. –>

i created a header template i designed myself. the header is an image (not a small logo but an image that stretches across the top row) .. but every day i look at the site and i see that it reverted to a generic grey row that says “newspaper”. if i add my image to the section that says “logo/favicon” i see my image in a tiny rectangle on top of that grey generic header… PLEASE TELL ME how to get my custom designed header to show on my site without the generic demo one showing through!!! i designed the header from scratch so i don’t know why it’s showing the text logo!! when i log in it looks fine and after logging in if i refresh the page where i saw the text logo it goes back to mine.

Everything listed by you, Vlad, is not related to the topic of discussion! I’m trying to tell you that any pro demo still has a bunch of extra code connected to the header

Hello Calin, I have deactivated all the plugins and I have looked in my source code and it appeared for example the Analytics tracking code, and in the HEADER SCRIPT CODE box of the theme it is blank. I don’t know what could be the codes in the topic, but in the source code. Well, as there are few codes that I had, I have inserted them again and for now everything is fine, but I want to record in case someone else could happen to him. Hello, I put a wetransfer link above with a screenshot.
I made my header with the cloud tagdiv composer.
I added a row above my logo and made it into my topmenu but the problem is when I hover over contact me I see the submenu but whenever I move my mouse downwards to click on it the submenu dissapears..
Same with the search icon on the right of the topmenu whenever i type something in the articles show but i can’t click the first article because it shows on the header, all the articles that show up under the header so the 2nd and 3rd article for example i can click.
specifically i added string
<meta name=”bingbot” content=”noindex” />
to header.php but it didn’t work. I do not understand why this happens, either i put it wrong place, or Yoast seo plugin cuts it out when viewing page.

Header menu modification in child-theme /parts/header/header-menu.php is not working.
You need to modify parent theme to make it work, so it is useless when updating.
I created a header for mobile as sticky row.
But when I scroll the page, it just disappears.

Hello we upgraded theme to version: 10.3.9.1. Also, we regenerated thumbnails and this solved problem with blocks/pictures at homepage. But, we still can’t see logo into header at homepage. Even we can’t upload any logo/pictures via Theme Panel/Header/Logo & Favicon. Our site is https://recepti-kuvar.rs. Thank you, best regards, Miodrag

I see how I can do that in Tagdiv Composer, however there is no way to what I want to do standard templates.
The problem is that I need a SECOND content area/sidebar. That sidebar needs to be called AFTER the header, but BEFORE the_content. Therefore, I think I have to do this with a hook.

i don’t know why but on a daily basis i check the site and instead of my custom logo (which i have set to be end-to-end like a skyscraper banner across the top of my page) the page has a generic logo that is grey and says “newspaper” across the top.. i make no changes but it reverts back to this generic text logo by itself. why? how do i stop this from happening?? (then i refresh the page and it’s back to normal but i see it all the time and fear my readers do as well).

I think that you are using the cloud header template 3 (cloud header) if is so then you can edit it with tagDiv Composer. Also make sure that this is set as general in theme panel- > https://i.imgur.com/VlKPkdf.png then for all pages and templates that do not have an individual header it will be display that one.
If there is still a problem, please provide a link to your website and some screenshots with the settings that you made in tagDiv Composer.
