We have seen that you are using the Newspaper PRO Demo, that is fully customizable using the tagDiv Composer. So in order to change your header logo you will have to edit the page using the tagDiv Composer and edit the header logo element as you can see it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/0Bz1Gy7lq

Hello !

You can remove it, but you will have to use a cloud template header. After creating your header you will be able to edit it using the tagDiv Composer and click on an element, and then you can select the mobile viewport as you can see it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/F5mZOPjL3 All the edits done will affect only that viewport.

Hi Vlad I believe there is a bug. I tried to create a header from a blank page. when I divide the row into 2 and on the left column I insert a logo, the column disappears and I can no longer insert anything. This also happens in the precompiled newspaper headers. I await your reply thanks

Style 1 in the default post template (site wide) will not stretch to the size of the header. Probably only 600-700px wide.
Anyone know how to make it the same size? The rest of the styles seems to work just fine.

Error on Header Logo – The problem has to be solved!! - reply

There are a number of users posting about the same problem.

I removed all of my plugins, cleared the cache and now removed the logo on the mobile version and that was the only thing that solved the problem.

Now the error comes up on the desktop version.

And then the site crashes due to these errors on occasion and the hosting provider blames the creators of the template.

See for yourself.

I believe you can investigate this much more as I am not the only one complaining about this.

Remove Mobile Search - topic

Hi, a quick question.

I am not using header manager. But is there a way to change the live search image thumb as when I currently do a search the thumbs are showing blurry.

If not is there a way to remove the search icon on mobile. I have removed it on desktop but it is still showing on my mobile.

Hello !

For a smooth transition from Newspaper 9.8 or less we recommend, you first create a backup of your website and set up a maintenance mode until your work is done.

In order to test the new implementation, you can use the WP-Staging plugin to create a staging copy of your website where you can test the new features without affecting the live site.

The first step for you to clearly see what features remain available and what’s new in Newspaper 10 would be to deactivate the Standard Pack plugin. This will probably cause your homepage to be filled with shortcodes, but don’t worry !
In this way you will know exactly what needs to be adjusted.

With the standard pack plugin deactivated you will have to import and set a Cloud template for all your default wordpress pages. In order to cover all of your website you need to import, customize and apply the following templates:

Header Template
Footer Page
404 template
Attachment Template
Author Template
Category Template
Date Template
Search Template
Single Post Template
Tag Template

All the templates found above are fully editable with tagDiv Composer which means more possibilities to customize your website. Please note that most of the old tagDiv Composer elements have been re-designed and converted to be fully customizable and can be imported to your page from here: poza cloud composer – blocks.

For the mobile menu please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

I am using newspaper theme and tagDiv Mobile Theme also. I have set caching using WP Super Cache and I have set all caching settings according to the guide – > https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ . By the way, I am using Cloudflare and I have also set Cloudflare settings according to the guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/

I also set Browser cache TTL to 1 month in cloudflare

Apart from that I have added the following 3 page rules in Cloudflare

I have checked with my host and they have replied saying –

We checked the website and it’s currently using CloudFlare service for DNS and caching.
Also, the header reply for client’s site is also returned by CloudFlare server. What we can advise for this case is to correctly configure WordPress website for using CloudFlare for the headers to be correct.

Somehow Cloudflare’s CDN is not caching images and other files(cf-cache-status: BYPASS). Am I missing something here?

Hi everybody, I need to add a div right after the header and above the very top of each post (between breadcrumbs and header).

I’m using default-post-template. I’ve tried to add the div in the single.php but nothing changes, I think there’s something else that override my indications.

Could I add a div there without creating new post-template or something like that?

(For future reference, you have to change the number of pixels so it’s the same as the height of your fixed header. You can easily check the number of pixels for your self when you inspect the element. In my case, it wasn’t 90 but 40.)

And now i’ve found that i actually needed to scroll within the header template until i saw NEWSPAPER – then i had to click on the text logo in mobile mode and desktop mode to re-add the logo images again …

So all fixed now!

Ok I finally found that i had to turn sticky menu on in the header manager to be able to modify the mobile logo, however the sticky menu logo is still showing up as NEWSPAPER text when u start scrolling …

Hi

Me and a number of other users have been complaining about the error regarding the Header in the Newspaper template.

This is part of the error: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! in /home/qxateu8tderw/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/header/tdb_header_logo.php on line 782

Now, I have been told to empty Cahe, reload images, remove plugins and so on.

I did all these. And the problem is still there.

I even changed the Header template.

I refuse to send my login details to people I don’t know.

Can a fix be made for this error as it is crashing the website and the hosting provider is blaming the programmers that created the template!

Hi guys,

I’ve spent quite some time on this logo problem already and for something so simple it feels like it has been very wasteful unfortunately…

I am using Header Template 15 from the Cloud Templates and have edited it with your editor to, selected the image (standard and retina), enabled Show image and selected Hide Text & Tagline.

I have even set it in https://errorcode.tech/wp-admin/admin.php?page=td_theme_panel

Desktop/tablet logo works fine but mobile is blank …

Also when i enable sticky header the desktop/tablet version has Newspaper text instead of the logo and mobile has nothing …

Hi – I think I’ve looked everywhere, but I can’t seem to find an answer …

How do I get ads (header, sidebar, footer, etc.) to open in a new (blank) window? I added target=”_blank” to the anchor tag in the header ad block, but it doesn’t seem to work.
