Hi,
I updated the theme to the latest version but I get the following error when I try to install tagdiv composer plugin from the theme options.
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists. /home/sharelif/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/
Plugin installation failed.
The plugin does not have a valid header.
My front page is messed up. The columns and rows are not as they should be.

You probably changed header styles as different header styles provide different implementation. Not all styles share the shadow underline.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. The multi-purpose header styles have a small issue when setting a background image or color. This is present on our list and it will be fixed.
In the mean time enter this code in the Theme panel->Custom CSS section after you set a background image for the header
.td-header-background-image .td-container-wrap {
background-color: transparent;
}
You can use the background parameters to adjust the image

Somehow I removed the drop shadow which is below the header/men and can’t figure out how to get it back. Is there a specific setting for this?

Cloudflare’s Rocket Loader makes my site thechinexpress.com a lot faster. But, it breaks my site. Here is what happens;
- Though my site looks fine, whenever I click on the header image *blue color appears first.
This problem does not happen if I *off Cloudflare’s Rocket Loader. If possible I want to use Rocket Loader as it makes my site a lot faster.

I am using newspaper black version. 8.7.5
I want to be able to add menu items or links to just the mobile menu (hamburger menu)
There is so much wasted space on the mobile menu and it is a natural place for a user to find other site links when on a mobile device. However I dont want these to appear on the main desktop menu because there are too many and my main desktop menu only needs to have a 3 items to stay clean and easy. (home, about, shop).
and ideally the home button should be an icon…but I’ll make another post for that request.
for example, I need to be able to display items such as contact us, view cart in the mobile slide out menu.
these items appear on the the site but are in header menus or footer menus so they dont clutter up the main navigation.
I cannot use the mobile only template because it lacks the TD Composer elements which are essential to this layout and way too easy to use to make nice things.
How can I add items to JUST the mobile menu?
OR is anyone aware of a robust 3rd party menu plugin (paid or free) that works on Newspaper? I tried a few in the past and the results were not desirable.

Hi. I have gotten my DFP banner ads to display using sidebar widgets and placing the code directly in tne category headers but I would like to place these at the top of the post pages by category as well. Any help where to place this?
**ISSUE FIXED**
For anyone looking to achieve this, this is how I figured it out. I used chromes inspector tool and went through several different div elements. The one you think you need is not always the one that will produce what you are looking for, just keep trying the child elements until it starts playing ball.
The CSS I used to fix the job was:
.td-header-style-10 .td-logo-wrap-full {
background-image: url(“https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Childhood-Life-Logo-Background-1326-x-276.jpg”) !important;
min-height: 276px !important;
}
Hope This helps someone else trying to customize the design of the Craft Theme for Newspaper.

That would be just one of the problems. Try to use the header search function, related articles section also is not functioning and displaying correctly, the author avatar is not displayed as well. These issues are happening on all of the posts I tested and category pages, the homepage works properly.
I would suggest that you first deactivate all your plugins except theme plugins, clear all installed caches or server provided, clear CDN as well if used. If you enter any code in the theme panel (custom code ad codes etc) temporarily remove it. The same for theme modifications if you mad any.
Additionally check the theme system status panel

I’ve decided not to use the wpadminbar on my design and instead have a simple “Login” in the top menu bar as per this forums layout.
I like how when I shrink to a mobile screen size the “Login” icon is positioned to the left of the Search icon.
How would I go about replicating this for my design? I’ve had a search within the theme settings and can’t really find where.
I’d like to also have the avatar and profile name once logged in displayed, with hovering View Profile, Edit Profile, and Sign Out links (just how this site displays it).
Also I mentioned earlier that I’m deciding not to use the wpadminbar. I had intended to use it simply for the default buddypress notifications feature that are implemented to the wpadminbar by default. And also the way it supports Messages, Forums into it too. It is possible for this to be incorporated into Newspaper?

I am trying to use CSS to manually insert an banner image into the
background header area of the Craft Ideas theme.
I have attached the original Craft Theme image of the woman with the orange background to show what I mean
The header dimensions are 1326 x 276 which is what I designed my banner to be. However in the background
of the Craft Theme there is a div space either side of the logo which has a smaller dimension.
So in summary what I am trying to do is place my banner full-with across the header of the demo site.
I have tried CSS and I can accomplish this on the demo site but not on my site.

I’m using the options to put the ad’s newspaper theme (header ad, sidebar ad …)
But, I would like to put more ads during the article, however, I only have the option to put one (Inline Article Ad).
Is there another way or Plugin to recommend?

I’ve cleared caches and it doesn’t seem to be a plugin issue. I don’t really want to go through the hassle of installing on a subdomain. I activated different themes and they loaded lightning fast, so it’s specific to the Newspaper theme. I just need to remove that file but I can’t find where it is in the theme. It’s apparently some background image for the header. Thanks.
Add it in the child theme header file (copy it from the main theme), that should work as well. Check after entering.
