Hello,
I want to manually publish advertising images on the news and category pages on my news site. I can do this on my homepage thanks to TD Composer, but I couldn’t find how to do it on the news and category pages.
Can you help?
Hi. So I was very much under the impression that the desktop versions and mobile versions of you website/homepage could be structured differently? The problem is, whilst I have pretty much got my desktop homepage looking how I want it, it doesn’t display well on mobile. For example the flew box1 looks great on desktop, but when I look at the mobile theme it just doesn’t look right. I thought you were able to change both independently? If I try and change the way say for example flexbox1 looks on the mobile theme, the same changes take effect on the desktop one. Can I not make changes to the mobile version of my homepage without these same changes effecting how it displays on desktop? My website is http://www.eheritage.co.uk. Many thanks

Please notice that tagDiv Cloud Library need to be deleted and reinstall it from Newspaper> Plugins, only deactivate and activate it back will not work.
If you want to edit the footer, then you’ll need to edit it from a page, for example your can edit the homepage, click on edit with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/uweNRrc.jpg after that go down to the footer end edit it how you want (now you can customize the the whole webpage from fronted).
Also the mobile problem can be a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.
Also we do not recommend to use the tagDiv Cloud Library and WPBakery on your website, if you are using both of theme, then you’ll need to choose only one and deactivate the other one.
If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

If you want to have more control over the featured images from homepage, then you can edit it with tagDiv Composer, and use some flex blocks -> https://i.imgur.com/Riqs5NO.png these blocks are special and can be more easy design ( you can check the documentation for flex blocks from Newspaper) -> https://i.imgur.com/Fkga3eS.jpg

on siemprecontigo.eu, on the homepage, social networks (facebook and youtube channel) does not indicate the followers correctly, it says zero. I don’t know if I’m putting the social networks wrong. Twitter is fine and I’ve put the full twitter link. I don’t know if the other social networks are the same.

This works great, thanks. But how can I show multiple authors on the homepage as well?
I tried updating the td_module files with <?php td_get_post_coauthors();?> but that causes an error.

since we have installed Newspaper theme we have problem with featured images in posts. I don’t know if it is related with the theme or with some plugin, but we have the impression it concerns Newspaper.
Anyway, the problem is: two out of three times the image we set as featured in posts doesn’t work. It displays them like “broken” and we see just the alt description.
Did you have any issues like this in the past?
I have also 4 php error in the homepage, but I think they are not related:
I created a new PRO homepage and then saved it – went in to change somethings and got errors – after doing this a few times i then looked up here and saw similar people having similar issues, so i did want was recommended, all updated, removed plugins etc etc, but still have a problem
Finally created a Pulse Pro Header (no changes where made) – then created a Pulse Pro Footer (no changes where made) then created a Pulse Pro Homepage, clicked the manager – and chose the Pulse Pro Header & Footer – saved the page
opened the page and got
Errors at columns elements: 3(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
The page opens with the Global Header and Footer (even though in Manager it says Pulse Pro Header & Footer) and Empty Column where the homepage is meant to be
The other errors i have had have been similar – sometime its 5 or 7(models) and 3 or 5(dom)

Hello, no when I clicked on any of my blog categories in the menu they were empty. My dummy post wasn’t showing anywhere except when I clicked on my homepage logo. Then it would populate the blog post. I couldn’t figure out how to fix it to I restarted everything and just went with a blog template instead of trying to make one from scratch. Thanks so much for the response!

Ideally, I would like to keep the pagination below my articles on the homepage, so people can directly click on page 4 for example.
Instead of one click on Load More and 1 click on Page 4 in the blog section. It is just a user experience thing.

You can achieve this by using TagDiv composer. I did same on my site.
So here is what you have to do:
First create a Blog page to show your latest posts.
Than edit your homepage with tagdiv composer. In post loop section remove pagination and below the post loop add a button with link to your blog page. You can visit my site for an example.
Also you can customise your blog page in theme panel as you want.

On my homepage, I have one row at the top having the latest articles I publish, and I would like one more just below having the posts which shortly preceded those.
For instance, say I wrote 10 articles in ascending order from 1-10, I’d like one row displaying the new posts (1-5), then a second one underneath showing the ones I wrote just before (6-10). Does anyone know how I would have to do that?
Sorry if that’s a bit wordy – I couldn’t think of a way to articulate my problem clearly! If anyone could help me I’d be grateful.

The option to edit the footer template will be removed in coming updates. The correct way to edit the footer template is to set it for example in the theme panel, in general

Then if you would like to edit it, edit a page or a template that uses it, like the homepage for example – https://prnt.sc/r3jcsr

Unfortunately at the moment there is a problem with this. Please edit the footer from the homepage. Starting with 10.3 you have the possibility to edit the header / content and footer from the homepage directly not needing to open multiple templates to be edited.

I just purchased the theme and currently testing on the staging site. I tried installing the “Gadgets Pro” demo. While the homepage looks fine, clicking on any article on the homepage leads to the following error

Do you mean that when you’re on a post and click on the header logo that will not redirect you to the homepage ?
That can be achieved by using a Header Template as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/ And on the Header Logo element you will be able to set it as you can see here:https://www.screencast.com/t/SMkkesH4g

The author page is redirected to the homepage once the author link on author box or manually type the author link.
