Unfortunately you have very limited control over a post loop page. You can only change how it looks, but it will grab all of the content in a latest sorting order. if you want more control over your homepages, please create a static page and use visual composer to add content to it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/

Well there is no default homepage unless you install the demo. If you want to get the dummy data back, you can simply uninstall the demo and reinstall it again: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
We do not recommend editing the demo data as it will get removed when you decide to switch demos even if you edit the content. We suggest creating your own content, not editing the dummy data.

If you use a blog homepage you can only choose the layout for it from the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/eVnaJCHjKlz You cannot customize this page in visual composer. My client wants his ad displayed only on the home page of the site (homepage, http://www.site.com) and not on any more. If put its code in the part dedicated to the ads in the header then his ad will run on all pages in the header, and I just want a home page, and to the other pages displaying Google Adsense

I’m not sure I understand exactly how you want your ads but our ad system works like this: There are a set amount of predefined ad spots in the theme panel here: http://screencast.com/t/1pZOOnsj
These ad spots are presented in our theme docs here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ads-adsense/ Please check all of the menu items on the left of the page for different ad spots.
If you want to place a custom ad on a page you can use an ad box element in visual composer and place the ad at your desired position within the page content. You can also place an ad box in sidebars as well from the widgets area of wordpress.
There is no ad spot on category pages though You can place a header ad or a footer ad that will show across the whole site.
So if you want to have an ad exclusively on the homepage simply place the adsense ad in a custom ad spot in the theme apnel then add an ad box element inside the homepage layout in visual composer and select the ad spot you placed your ad in when prompted to.

I suppose that you do not understand very good how mobile theme works, right? So, please notice that this theme concept intend to display a Big Grid feature at the top of homepage which shows the posts which are included in Featured category, then will show a text which you added in Mobile Editor in Visual Composer from backend and at the very bottom of the page you will bring the Latest Articles module. Please keep in mind that the Mobile Theme do not recognize the Visual Composer shortcode and that’s why you did not get the demo style for mobile theme. So, for more information about our mobile theme, please check the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ If you are unhappy with this layout, and if you want to have the similar structure with our demo mobile, you will simply turn off the mobile plugin and the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mobile mode.

As we talked in a previous topic about dequeue_visual_composer working together with Speed Booster, which by the way, you’ve solved, right now I find that all categories and tags loaded this VC plummet even if is not required.
My Q is, how we can dequeue this plugin from categories and tags?
I’m not using at all Visual Composer for nothing, except the homepage.
As we know, speaking from the SEO perspective, category & tags are a little bit hard to optimize due to the limited options provide by WordPress itself, so, without a good speed optimization we do not do anything.

Your homepage takes a very long time until is fully loaded. This time vary from 30-40 seconds to over 1 minute. This affect the way js works. You’re using lazy load animation and the images are displayed only after all resources are loaded on the page. The js will not do anything until all resources are loaded but if the time is to big will not work at all.
Try to deactivate lazy load animation from theme panel > template settings: http://screencast.com/t/JLeDGGgmT then test the site again. no featured image is showing on the desktop view – not in the homepage (Newsmagazine Layout used, changed nothing), nor in the posts.
Most of the images are og:tagged, but none appear reagrdless.

Is there any step by step guide? I watched the video but I don’t know where to start.
My blog got more than 1000 posts and how to make the layout look like one of the demo?
I installed one of the demo without the demo content, but then what I should I do next ? Create a new page ? Use the old homepage to edit ? I m very confused!
Is there any paid service online to help customer for setting up service ? What I saw is just installation service.

Well the politics demo is not presented in that tutorial you mention. It presents a way to create a homepage using visual composer, not a way to replicate the politics demo.
If you like the politics demo look, simply install the politics demo and you will have the style and content if you choose to: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
As an alternative, you can simply replicate it in visual composer and revolution slider.
The elements used on all our demos can be created through the page builder. There are slight variatiuons with the css but not structural changes.

It’s not the video.
In the homepage, when the video image appears on the slider, with the play icon, if you put your mouse over the play button, some areas don’t work.
And the problem is I tested the website with some people and everyone did the same thing: when the page loads, go straight to the icon and click several times with no success.
I think the link button is offset the icon.

Well I have a homepage, but I can also choose a post page… I undertand now that I cant customize the categories with the visual composer.
So now I that I undertand… I would like to move my link where I have selected to be a post page, to be a category, so I can at list costumize it.
If I cant, then I have to make it look better my post page… I now you said me that this issue http://screencast.com/t/RKyDFjuTQ3 can be resolved adding a custom excerpt, BUT I have so many post there that imagine that is a “monkey” thing to do… Also if my visitors go back to see oldest post they will see a horrible excerpt and a mini read more bottom.
Also Im using for facebook, the instant articles, so I cant do many changes.
I dont know what you recommend me to do to make my site that is using your theme to look great

Does anyone have experience running the FooBox Pro lightbox extension with Newspaper?
I’ve been using them together ever since my site launched in November. However, the latest update to FooBox (Version 2.3.2.39) seemed to interfere with Newspaper’s “lazy loading” of images. I turned off this feature in the theme panel which brought images back to our homepage, however, I can’t get the FooBox plugin to function at all.
If it is enabled, the image loads in the browser tab. If it is disabled, Newspaper’s built-in lightbox takes over.
Any suggestions? I’m assuming this all boils down to a javascript conflict somewhere.

UPDATE: I kept changing settings and finally got FooBox working. I’m not sure exactly what I did but there’s definitely a conflict somewhere between the theme and the plugin.

I’m trying to change the colour of the hyperlink text on my homepage posts on imogensangels.com.au.
I want it to be the same colour as the rest of the text.
I was able to change the colour of the hyperlink text on posts using the following css:
.td-post-content a{ color: black; }
This does not change the colour of the post exceprts on the homepage though.

This is not exactly what I meant. On my mobile homepage I removed the 3 featured posts and I can see only newest posts now. I want to achieve the same ony category pages on mobile – no 3 featured posts / no random posts, only the newest posts like on my mobile homepage here: livinator.com
