Hello, My featured image is way to large. It’s not like the demo at all. How can I change the large featured image box on my homepage to look like the demo. I exported the demo, made a few changes and now the featured image box is taking up half of the screen. Please advise.

Am instalat pe blog demo-ul Fashion Newspaper. Am observat ca in homepage, apare o fereastra pop up in care se promoveaza unul din ultimele articole (gen ” ai vazut ultimul nostru articol?” . Acum am renuntat la demo, dar nu stiu cum pot recrea optiunea respectiva. Imi dati va rog, un sfat?

You can use is_front_page() wp function to check when the homepage it’s displayed. Using this function can be made a condition which will display the ad only for homepage, here is an example: http://screencast.com/t/D4k4V3IX

I’m using a script code to display ads skin (background ads) with an ad network. The problem is that they provide me a script code to insert just after the <body> that i inserted in the header file (header.php).
It works fine, but ads are displaying in every pages and posts and i would like to just display theme on my homepage. I didn’t find the <body> in other files of the theme like single.php…
Is there any solution for me ?

I will give it another try and then let you know, but it seems pretty strange as I have already updated the theme multiple times. In any case, with the last update:
– no content is loaded in my homepage (created with Visual Composer);
– sidebars are not loaded in single pages;
– megamenu is not working.

I am using Big grid slide on my homepage. The big slide shows stars of reviews, what is awesome. I would like to put some text in front of these stars and position them on the top of the big slide. Is this possible? Where can I adjust this? It seems to be in class “td-meta-align”.

Congratulations for this brilliant theme! Everything is as easy as 1-2-3.
There is one problem I am facing though, I see two different permalinks structure for same post:
In the post page i see sitename/category/subcategory/postname
while if i go from homepage big grid, i see sitename/category/subcategory/postname
I need to do a permanent redirect to a few posts and this is causing problem. I can put a redirect to both permalinks, but thats not a permanent solution.

At the homepage of this new site we are making with newspaper theme there a display of all article. We were able to set the number of article to zero. However this annoying ‘there are no article to be displayed’ (this is translated as ‘Geen posts om weer te geven’) keep on showing on the bottom . How can I disable this

I don’t seem to be able to change the main menu font color in my homepage. The website’s address is http://genres.paris
I have changed the color in the theme panel to white (font color> main menu> menu text color) but it keeps using the site main color (which is set to blue). However, if you click on any posts, then in the main menu the color is white. Could you please point me to the right direction ?

I’m not sure where you are getting this error. We never saw this error on the homepage before, nor is there a block 27. There are only 21 blocks in our theme. We know of a similar issue that comes up in module 16 in the search template for posts that have no featured image set to them: http://screencast.com/t/SJyrSuZpn (do not use module 16). This will be fixed in the next version of the theme.
Please provide more details if this is not the same search page error.

1)Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to change this duration, sorry! If you want to change it, you have to alter the code and this involves custom work. If you want to do this and you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

Technically speaking the sidebar ad is displayed fine on your site on tablet as the theme don’t ad any margins for it. I’ve test this on my side and got the same result on iPas mini: http://screencast.com/t/zzV0ceJaimB5
