The issues that I’m having on my site are as follows:
1) Pagination… The next page “arrow” seems to be of the wrong size. Don’t know why that it is.
2) The social media icons display well on all pages in the footer section of my site, however they look a little bit off on the homepage itself.
3) The social counter lags a little whenever the counts should be updated. My assumption is that they – the count – should change once my stats on social media changes/updates. The social counters don’t immediately do this!

I’m having a problem with my homepage.
1) I want to eliminate space between the menu and the featured images. Marked in big red box.
2) I have noticed that my search icon (marked in smaller red box) is gone. I can click it and it show the search bar, but the icon itself can’t be seen on the homepage.

1- Author name, comment count and date and other meta info on single post pages should be moved to end of the article. i.e., above or below the tags.
2- On Homepage, I need to disable the ‘link to category’ under each post listing that shows up. Check the image.
Hello – I’ve just bought your theme and want to apply it to my existing website. There are over 200 posts – each with an image ratio of 144×89. The issue I have is none of them fit properly using your homepage layouts. Based on https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/ your theme has an autocrop function to display them properly but mine are not.

I disabled the comment/reply box on my static pages but it keeps showing “NO COMMENT”. Ho can remove that when I want news pages to remain enabled? It is not nice to see “NO COMMENT” on homepages and about us.
I just purchased Newsmag and am setting up the home page. I can’t figure out how to limit the number of posts on certain blocks. When I go to edit the block on my homepage “page” I’m creating, it doesn’t show me the bottom part of the “edit block” popup. And it will only let me tab down to the “sort order” under the “filter” tab. I *think there’s a section lower than that where I can set the number of posts for that particular block…? But I can’t get to it. Is there somewhere else I can edit those blocks? If so, I can’t find it in the main theme panel. I see “block settings,” but don’t see where I can edit each block and their specific elements individually
Also, on the homepage, how do I get my adsense ad at the top of the sidebar, when I’m using a block that spans the whole page down further?

The skin ad is active. I see it both in homepage and in the posts.
Please note it’s a script, not a background image.
I don’t see the ad in the header too. Maybe you have adblock or something like that enable?

I assume you are referring to the homepage and the video post images. It has to do with your settings, it’s not a bug and nothing went wrong. Your site actually works fine and there are no errors. Please first of all activate the placeholder image in the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/q1cg5u4qFDQO so there will be a replacement image for situations like this. And to “fix” the video posts, please use a video post style and format: http://screencast.com/t/X7SEqC5pv and this is the most important step: add the video as a featured video:

thank you for your reply. We disabled the plugins you mentioned, but the problem persists, you can see it now.
When a new article is published, it is not displayed in homepage.
The following settings are set:
Mobile device support. (External plugin or theme required. See the FAQ for further details.)
Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated.
Only refresh current page when comments made.
List the newest cached pages on this page.
Are we missing something?

A possible solution at this issue would be to exclude from cache all pages where you’re using blocks with Random filter. I am not sure why your host provider said that he can’t exclude the entire homepage from being cached but at the moment we can’t offer a better alternative at this.

If you want to change the color of the excerpts and the date from your homepage, you have to use a bit of CSS code to do that. Please use the code below and add it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

But we have a problem with posts/articles. When we publish an article, it isn’ t displayed in homepage. If we delete cache or disable the plugin, it is displayed. Can you help please?

I have gone back to wp-engine about my cdn affecting my plugin and they said :
I’ve looked over the link you provided and those setting look to be specific to Cloudflare. I see the domain name is using the WP Engine CDN; I reviewed the link fully but I didn’t see any comparable settings I could adjust on our CDN for you.
For caching issues, we can set a cache exclusion on our end. This will prevent our server from caching the page and deliver an up to date version. We would need to know the specific URL this issue occurs on in order to set the exclusion. If the issue is specific to the theme, the theme developer may already know which paths this needs to be done for.
If you can let us know what paths to exclude, we’ll be happy to do so. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
And then
You would need to work with the theme developer to see if there’s a particular cookie or argument that can be excluded from caching that perhaps controls the random menu. If so, we can certainly exclude that, but we cannot exclude the entire homepage.

I have a problem. When I configure the homepage using three columns (2/3 – 1/3) there is no problem, but I need that the main column have 60% and the sidebar 40%. Y set this configuration: (7/12 – 5/12) but the slider is broken, and the thumbnails of block 15 get disorganized.
Is there any solution?

Please notice that do not exist a special place where the title site will be displayed in your homepage. I suppose that you are referring to the logo and if you want to appear the title of your site you have to use this to do that. As I can see on your website, you do not have set it a logo and because of this, you have nothing appears to your header. Please check our demo preview and see how you have to look a homepage. Hi, I have just installed the Newspaper theme on my site and I discovered that the site title which is supposed to be displayed on the homepage is not displaying. Deactivated all the plugins to see if that could help but all to no avail.

The theme display posts following some specific rules and according with the filter set for any block in each page. For example if you publish a post which belongs to News category that post will automatically be displayed on News category page in first place. This is a WordPress default functionality, each post which belong to a specific category will be displayed on that category’s page.

Note that the theme posts displayed on pages will also be displayed on categories pages. This is how WordPress works.
The theme also have a unique article option, but this works for any individual page, bot for entire site. By enabling this option: http://screencast.com/t/TeZwRX5c13W the theme will display only unique article on pages’s first load. However the posts displayed on that page will also be displayed on category page or on other pages with similar filters. To avoid having duplicate posts on many pages you have to set the filters such that the theme to display different posts on each page. Here is an example:
– in page named Recent News let’s say you add a block and set it to display posts from News category.
– in page named Older Stories let’s say you add a block and set it to display posts from Old Articles category.
Following this example on your pages won’t appear duplicate posts, each page will display posts from the selected category.

Hi,
I am trying to setup adsense code and “content.ad” widgets on my site. From the theme panel I have managed to set up both codes correctly and also when I go to the widget area, I have added to correspondent tagdiv boxes.
When I got to my site, the widget that it’s supposed to be on the sidebar shows at the bottom, and the widget that it’s supposed to show at the bottom of every post, it shows double.
Any suggestions or ideas what could be wrong? Take a look at this page for example

Yes, the code above works only for posts, as you can see in the above code is targeted the class specific only for posts. If you want to apply this code for your homepage, you have to replace the .td-post-content with .home.
