I have the big grid slider Style 4 on my homepage. I want it to look like this.
I added the following lines in the Custom CSS Editor:

}

But it does not overwrite the old style. I’m a CSS newbie, so there must be something I’m missing.

So – I currently turned off the listing of # of comments per post – shown on homepage, since I don’t seem to get a lot of conversation, and it looks bad that all posts show as very little comment discussion (plus I use discuz and don’t even think it considers those as WP comments anyhow). I do however get FB likes since I promote via FB quite a bit. Is there any way to replace the comment #’s – with FB likes – on a per post basis, shown on the homepage, like it normally would with comments? (overlayed on the thumbnails).
Is that possible?
1) the reason why i created html code with display:none; is that i don’t want extra content on my page. I just need H1 tag to be on homepage. is there anything from with the technique am i doing right now?

Hello! I have this weird problem, since I use a button system, I have now realized that people prefer the names of the buttons to also contain the same url as the buttons.
I have done this in several pages (http://www.portugalcanal.com/filmes/ and http://www.portugalcanal.com/musica/) and the names above the links don’t get underlined, I’ve tried doing the same on the Home page, and links get underlined, I just want the underline to dissapear, I want it bo equal to those pages I’ve showed you.

I have checked your website and the layout seems to be broken for some reason. Please try it without plugins. Disable all of them except visual composer and check again. Not all plugins are compatible with our theme unfortunately.

Hello, I love the theme……I am using Big Grid/Grid style 4 for the homepage. http://www.carolyncowan.com.
Please can you advise as to the correct size for images on the left hand side (larger box) as everytime I try to add an image at 1062×712 it is automatically cropped and I cannot see any text. If I make it smaller then the imaged which is featured on the post is no longer full size and justifies to the left.

Darn – ours was working after running the steps and now it is back to 0.
We are also having issue with it on our homepage. We are using from visual composer, we add the social media counter then entered app id and secret, then tried to use the authorize feature but we get taken to an error page on Facebook. I’ll send an email.

In the replies above you can find all the information needed for this task. i will show you again step by step how to make a homepage with infinite loading:
1: Create a new page

3: In the settings tab that appears on screen, add a title to your block if you want, then set the post limit: http://screencast.com/t/nCLC1yHPk (i set mnine to 10, but you can set it to any number.)

Please notice that the infinite loading pagination works only for blocks as I explained you above. You have to add on your page only a block and set it the pagination to be infinite loading like this -> http://screencast.com/t/YmgtaVFTmn If you switch your blog to a static page and if you use a template pagebuilder+latest articles+pagination, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/0nyt1kbJ the pagination of the latest article is a normal pagination (1,2,3…) because our theme does not have option to infinite loading pagination for this template implemented.

Minunat! Va multumesc din suflet! Functioneaza perfect codul. Dar pe mobil se pare ca mi-au disparut imaginile de la Search si de la Menu (au lasat in schimb un fel de patratele taiate pe diagonale). La accesarea unui articol din site insa, imaginile respective reapar. Problema pe mobil persista doar la homepage.

At the first moment it shows ok, but after loading the big grid becomes broken and my sidebar goes down.
I don’t use any custom css or html, so there is a big chance and something wrong with theme.

Big Grid 1 va contine 1-2 categorii, iar BigGrid 5 sa contina alta categorie.

1)The simplest way to add an H1 tag is with a text box with some content to add this tag, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/ltxuDgzb and if you want do not affect your page content you should display this, for example on the bottom of the page or everywhere you want.
2)If you want to have h2 tags for each article wich is shown on your homepage it is necessary to change it from td_module.php file core, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/SC63awqxm
3)Using the category in your URL is a good thing for SEO but you should take care though; if your slug (the part of the URL that identifies the post) is long and you have the category in the URL as well, that might potentially lead to a very long URL which is harder to share and won’t benefit you as much in Google. If you decide to use the category in the permalink, make sure to pick short and descriptive slugs for your categories, and to preferably pick only one category for each post.

Hello in need of a bit of help. My website has a latest articles section down the bottom in which it displays 10 posts at a time before you need to go to the next page. The problem is when I click to go to the next page it just brings it back to the homepage (first page).

I am new here, so i need your help to properly setup my website.
1) first question is about <h1> and <h2> tags. I want to add <h1> tag on my homepage, only for SEO purpose, so i used this html code: <h1 style=”display: none;”>keyword</h1> to edit homepage. Everything works great, but the problem is that, there is blank space under the image slider where i edited the code. can somebody explain me how to do it properly?
2) is it possible to have h2 tags for each article which is shown on homepage?
3) As i moved to new theme, i noticed that my website indexing structure has changed. Fore example: when i search site on google, instead of full permalink is see mywebsite.com/category. Is it bad or not for SEO, to have category shown in search engine?
