hi,
i was trying to add Auto Load Next Post function into my website https://thefirstnewspaper.com/
tried through WordPress Infinite Scroll by Auto Load Next Post didn’t worked. is there any other way?
thanks
Hi,
There are navigation buttons at the end of the post, like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/5Y57nZrMHw8
Those buttons will allow you to navigate through posts. They will appear with or without the mobile theme plugin.
If you mean something similar to infinite loading, like as soon as the post content end is reached the next one will load, that is not possible at the moment.
Thanks
Just comment, if you mean ‘infinite scroll’ – I thought that only worked for pages which use the default loop for showing more posts at bottom of a ‘page’ …
e.g.,
https://jetpack.com/support/infinite-scroll/
not on posts themselves.
For ‘pages’ such as an index, you can try this solution:
https://www.hongkiat.com/blog/wordpress-infinite-scroll/
(I don’t work here.)
The theme does not support infinite loading or auto-loading on single posts. Maybe in a future update, as mentioned by theme authors.
Hi Catalan.
The issue with IE has been resolved. Thanks for your help in this and also for your help in the previous issues we were facing. Your support has been very professional. Also I congratulate you guys for creating such a wonderful theme with infinite customization options.
I have nearly designed my site. Just one more things. My site is 5 years old. So on many of my posts the fonts have been already set. Now I want to change the fonts of my posts through the theme panel but they don’t change. I think that is because they have been set from the post section. However, when I go to the edit post section, there too I am unable to see any of the fonts of your theme.
Kindly tell me of a way to set the font of my posts.
Thanks for all your time and help,
Anirudh.
Hi,
I am happy with overall theme and how easy it is to setup.
Few issues on the website I am working on:
1. Font with Vietnamese diacritics on mobile does not show in right font. Here’s the screen cap.
Text should be all serif, but letters with Vietnamese diacritics are san-serif.
Here’s the site URL: http://d8r.282.myftpupload.com
Page with Vietnamese diacritics URL: http://d8r.282.myftpupload.com/2016/06/su-gian-du-trong-tieu-thuyet-cua-nguoi-my-goc-a-cuoc-phong-van-voi-tac-gia-nguyen-thanh-viet/
I use single post content (tdb_single_content) element.
It seems like diacritics does not show in right font when the font is italics or bold. Post paragraph in regular style shows up fine.
2. Flex Block 1 on mobile displays funky.
Here’s the screen cap.

Notice how the excerpt text is flowing over the feature image.
3. I would like to insert category name above the first post’s title on the homepage
Is it possible to disply the category name above the title “Freedom in Unrest: A Girl in a Book // Khairani Barokka”? I would like the category text to be crimson text, upper case, not with a black background. Please provide CSS if possible.

4. On Category page, I have setup infinite scroll + load more for the pagination style. It seems like the load more button shows up after the 3rd loading of the post loop which is confusing. Could I set the load more button to show up after I scrolled to the bottom of the screen for the first time? Also, I need more padding below the load more button. Here’s the screen cap.

Thanks for your help.
When ever I try to use the pagination setting on block 1, it only shows the same posts that it just did. I don’t know when this started, I only just noticed it today, but it hadn’t been this way previously. If I have it listed to show 7 posts, those same 7 posts repeat everytime it infinite loads or I press load more. If I leave the option empty and limit it to 7 through my WordPress –> Reading settings, it makes no difference.
Just received this mail…
Beta 1 of Auto Load Next Post v1.5.0 is now ready for testing and your feedback on the changes and improvements made along with added support for themes such as Make, Understrap and all core WordPress themes would be of great help.
Auto Load Next Post can now run without the need to define support within your current theme. Meaning you can just install Auto Load Next Post and it will work whether you need to set up the theme selectors or not.
Defining support for Auto Load Next Post has been put to better use for theme developers. Now developers can set the theme selectors for their theme so users don’t have to.
This code snippet shows how theme developers can support Auto Load Next Post in their themes by presetting the theme selectors.

Question: can you add and make work Auto Load Next Post in newsmag or newspaper ?
Any ideea if you work on adding this feature to autoload post in theme? I see only positive in this feature, if you still not added, why, is bad or ?
Hi Bogdon,
1) Do I need to run this plug every time I create a post and upload/new images? When am I supposed to use this? Is there any risk that I will lose all my images? When you say it deletes old images and regenerates, does that mean the newly regenerated images are saved in the Media Library?
2) If you visit my website or see the screenshot (http://www.screencast.com/t/2bdHvdRJ), as I’m scrolling down the homepage, it’s only the images that are delayed in displaying, except the first article. The article posts and text look to be loaded immediately. Is this behavior or infinite scrolling or lazy loading? Or is this a performance issue?
3) Simion mentioned above that embed would look best if it was forced to display as auto size and maybe centered
– https://www.screencast.com/t/vPobOmY3L
.td-post-content iframe.instagram-media {
width:auto!important;
margin: auto!important;
}
Where do I update this code?
Thanks

hello,
1) The force regenerate plugin deletes old thumbnails and creates the new thubs required by the theme. if your image is big enough to fit the thumbnail contianer, the proper thumbnail will be created. But as Simion mentioned, you need to have images at least the size of the thumbnail you want them to show up in.
2) Are you maybe referring to the infinite load you have set as pagination? The block pagination causes the load of the next few posts to be a bit delayed. Please check the block pagination if you do not want it paginated and want all the articles loaded on the first page load.
3) unfortunately the theme cannot handle iframe controls. Iframes are handled by the embed code from the iframe source.
Thank you!
Hello aloysiuspattath,
Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option for Infinite loading post content, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Does Newspaper 9 update have infinite loading on Posts?I mean to load another post when users scroll to the end of the current post? like infinite loading of posts on bottom of each blog post.
Hello WalnutHillDesign,
Unfortunately, please notice that our theme does not have any such an option for infinite loading on posts.
Thanks.
I have category pages set to use module 15 with infinite loading. The page initially shows correctly with all the post contents, but the additional posts loaded with the infinite scrolling are missing the main content of each post. It shows the post title and the meta content, but no body. All further posts loaded via infinite load are missing the main body or excerpt.
Hi,
That would be the lazy load indeed, disable it if not required
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-loading-image-effects/
The infinite loading will load additional posts according to the limit you set in the block
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Gzzy2rrP
So if you have a limit of 5 posts for example, the block will load 5 posts at a time.
Thanks
Hello,
On my blog, collabhype.com, is there a reason why only the images above the fold and the image for the first post load? Not until I scroll down do the other images for the posts below load.
Also, where can I adjust the criteria, such as number of posts, for the infinite loading on the homepage?
Thanks,
Matt
I think you need to cut back on things which call ajax in the theme, and also consider using tools like the Limit Login Attempts plugin, and also disable XMLRPC, which can cause overloads.
Note right now that bots are pummeling WordPress sites looking for older versions which are not secure, BootStrap 3 which is not secure, several insecure plugins, and some vulnerabilities in odd versions of PHP, etc.
Generally, the idea is to limit the type of modules being called, don’t use mega menus, don’t use stuff that connects to external sites (JetPack, or “how many likes on xxx”), infinite loading, randomization queries, etc. For instance, no more than two modules on sidebar, disable stuff like “popular posts” and “more from author…” stuff.
All that ‘dynamic’ stuff is a query to the PHP system. Anything with ajax calls has to actually use the WP ajax script … so, your audit needs to start by turning as much off that is glitz and serves no intrinsic purpose, then evaluate what you can live with vs not having dedicated server to manage DDoS and other stuff.
ALSO, just as important: read the “hardening WordPress” section in the docs on WordPress.org, as that can help quite a bit as well.
In our case we needed to run IPtables + Fail2Ban + (D)DoS Deflate – to stop being pummeled by bots, some hitting up to 1800 connections in 5 minutes to a news portal.
That would be infinite loading, it is already present on our suggestion list. It may be implemented into the theme in the future, but for the moment such a feature is not available.
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-make-infinite-load-post/
How to automatically load another post when users scroll to the end of the current post? like infinite loading of posts (not blocks) on bottom of each blog post
Is there a way we can install a floating sidebar on the homepage created by TD Composer.
OR
if we can have Infinite Load on Post Loop Settings (under template ‘Pagebuilder + Latest Articles + pagination).
Basically I want to display my latest articles under the various elements I have created with TD Composer but I need to have two things together – 1) Infinite Load & 2) Floating sidebar..
Hi I am not sure if this theme has this function that is why I’m asking here. I would like that after a user gets to the bottom of the current post it would automatically load another post below it. Can this be done? If so..how?
Hi,
At the moment the theme does not have an infinite scroll function for post pages, this is considered to be implemented and may be available in a future update.
There is a gallery, it can be used in posts or pages, example
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-aston-villa-beat-liverpool-to-join-arsenal-in-the-fa-cup-final/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/gallery-2/
It will not change the URL when scrolling through the images however. There are also smart lists that can be used in posts
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/10-landscapes-wont-even-imagined-exist/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-lists/
Thanks
Hello, how are you?
Currently I’m using a homepage with infinite scrolling. I’d like to know if it’s possible to add ads between posts in the mobile version.
Hello,
I would like to add Block with latest posts. I chose Block 11 and set post number limit to 8. But as I see in “Filter” tab, there is no Normal Pagination – only “Next Prev ajax”, “Load More button” and “Infinite load” are available. What am I doing wrong?

Hello dani7tojo,
Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option for an infinite option for posts, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
