Also check this without any plugins active except of Visual Composer and Social Counter, clear cache and see if you still have this issue. If the issue persist try to add a different id(fb, twitter..) see if the counter works then re-add your id so you will refresh it.

I have a regular push of content onto my portal and i want my homepage to refresh automatically into a user’s browser after 30 mins time interval.
I have found one way of doing it using Meta Refresh putting it into the header file of the theme, but Meta Refresh is not preferred by google and its use effects the page ranking and seo.
So i want to do it using JS or any other method. Please let me know how can this be achieved.
Having the exact same issue. New to WordPress and this theme, when I reset everything back to basic WordPress, I had a 100% successful upload of 16 images. Tried again after re-installing the Newspaper theme and had only 1 image out of 10 go through.
There’s seemingly no rhyme or reason to this, as an image will eventually upload if you have the patience to constantly attempt to upload it. I have no plug-ins active, still having issues. Gonna try to rollback to an older WordPress for the time being.
There’s nothing added to the page. It’s a system page put out by the Events Calendar plugin, so basically that page doesn’t physically exist, it’s just dynamic from the plugin. There’s been no custom modifications made to any code within the theme or plugins related to it. It’s just throwing this error out of the gate when I installed the theme.

As of right now it does not have a problem with other themes and it does work on the same hosting account, for a different domain with a different WordPress install.
If I provide my login details, would someone like to hop in and take a quick look at the plugin? Perhaps you may be able to immediately idenfity the theme conflict if there is one.

Installing the Newspaper theme this doesn’t mean that it will automatically change the old shortcodes for you homepage. You will have to create a new page using the Visual Composer pagebuilder, set the page template.. – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/ also a video tutorial that may help – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgWqozuqmJk then set it as frontpage. You don’t have to be a developer to do this, just to have some basic WordPress knowledge and also we will answer for the theme related issues. Please note that if you install the demo without content it will import only some fonts, colors… it will not add new pages, posts, categories and also it will not change the frontpage.
Also if you want to keep your site running, you can install the theme on a subdomain to customize it. You can find more information on the subject here: http://www.passiveincomereality.com/how-to-create-a-sub-domain-in-wordpress/ You can also find a plugin for maintenance. Something like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-maintenance-mode/

Hello admin ‘@neotrope, @support002’, i installed the Newsmag theme on my website, and after activating it, i have been getting this message as error message “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 311296 bytes) in /home/content/01/12785601/html/wp-admin/menu.php on line 261” whenever i try to access any page from the backend, but the frontend works just fine.

I am posting an article from the wordpress admin of my site. Now there is a strange issue which i am facing with it. And its happening randomly. I have written the complete post in the backend and when i post it in frontend it only shows me an image.
Also if i am logged in from admin panel and then open the article it instead of showing me “Edit Post” option it shows me “Edit Media”
Let me know how to resolve it.

You can check the browser’s console for js errors and check this without any plugins active except of Visual Composer, clear cache and see if you still have this issue.
We don’t use the teamviewer and we cannot install it because we have restriction on workstation, sorry!

All News+ is a news website and since the theme is so on point! Though I’ve been quite lazy customizing it, I did follow the installation guides & tips and my site performance improved! Glad to see I’m not the only one here (hehe).
(I’m not sure if this is allowed here but…) Can anyone please suggest a good antispam plugin I can use that won’t disable the speedbooster? Thank you.

need help with an error i have please – here’s my situation:
after installing demo content, whenever rolling over any images, the cursor turned into a finger pointer and the imaged popped up in lightbox when clicked.
undesirable.
so i installed “Remove Image Links” plugin:

this seemed to properly correct this problem for all images – no finger pointer any more. i assumed images would also now not be clickable any more.
but…
even though no more finger pointer, images do something weird now – when clicked, a lightbox with left and right arrows appears and says “The image #1 could not be loaded.”
how to disable this weird feature so images are just images with no behaviors? i’ve searched for an hour but am lost.

I am changing themes from Elegant Themes Lucid to Newspaper.
I have read your docs – watched the video – and then done this again and again. Here’s what your docs say:
– If you want to use a demo, install it and that’s it. There is no information about setting the home page etc.
– If you want to design your own page (Page Settings > Homepage – How to build and set it) – Create a home page – design a page – set the page. This is not what I want to do.
In WordPress I have a pre-existing page named “Home” with the content below in the editor. This content does not change when I switch to Newspaper with the Newspaper demo (without content) installed:

This looks like Lucid code to me and installation of the demo should override this content, but I’m not sure if this is how it works.
What is the best solution? Can I create a second page? If so what should I call it and how do I get the correct code for it?
I am working on the live site, not in a production environment. I need to keep my site running on the old theme while I make changes to content that doesn’t work with the new theme.
I have three sites to change over and would like to move ahead as soon as possible.

I have purchased Newspaper 6 and I use movies site so I need to to use the plugins WPmovielibrary & Paid membership pro my problem is when I install WPMovieLibrary and added movie data I cant see with the Post section, I see only Movies section in the plugin WPmovielibrary, if I didn’t see the movies I posted in the Post section I can’t order which membership can watch the movie I posted, so I need to know if there is a way that I can see or convert the movie I posted in WPMovieLibrary to see in the Post section.
and also what I post with WPMovieLibrary I cant see also the Home Frontpage.
I downgraded the Revolution Slider plugin to the previous version to get the site working again.
I now have installed the ESSENTIAL GRID 2.0.9.1 plug-in
Same thing – whole site crashes with he same error message
Is there any previous documentation saying the Essential Grid plug in has a conflict?

I have had this same issue on a couple of installs.
Everything is working fine until I install the revolution slider plug in
I get the following message and my entire site goes down.
To test I also created a fresh wordpress installation with he latest version, then uploaded the latest Newspaper theme, installed the necessary plug ins (visual composer, social counter), and then when I uploaded and activated the rev slider v5 plug in….. crash!!!
I need to get my clients site working asap – has there been any fixes for this?
