Hi,
We’re really sorry to hear about the situation you’re facing.
In cases like this, we recommend restoring a backup made before updating the theme:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ https://i.imgur.com/vRRlJOa.png
Also, the Theme Panel has a backup system that can be used to restore your settings. However, in your case, since changes were made in the Theme Panel after the update, the backup you need might no longer be available: https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
Sometimes, the automatic theme update can be affected by other factors, such as an extra plugin, specific settings on your host, or a custom .htaccess file. In similar situations, the theme was updated, but the theme plugins needed to be manually installed or updated from Newspaper > Plugins.
If the Theme Panel settings are already lost after a theme update, we recommend not making any new changes in the panel. Instead, try to restore a theme panel backup made before the update.
If none of the above solutions can be used at this point, we suggest contacting your hosting provider and asking if they can restore a backup of your website. Most hosting companies keep daily backups and may be able to help.
Hi,
Unfortunately, I’m not entirely sure I understand the issue, but I believe you’re referring to a problem with the theme plugins being disabled. In most cases like this, the plugins just need to be re-enabled or reinstalled via Newspack > Plugins.
It sounds like you may have also used a theme panel backup—possibly from a different version of the theme panel. If that’s the case, it could have caused some temporary inconsistencies.
I’ve just checked the website, and everything looks fine now.
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, the theme includes the fix that has been sent to you, but before updating the theme, make a full backup of your website, and only after that update the theme and make sure that all current tagDiv plugins are installed and updated.
Thank you!
it happened since the beginning, before other plugins was installed. i use newspaper and rankmath pro.
the video page is indexed, but the video inside the page is not index. Google said the the video isn’t in a watch page.
And then i google it and found:
The “video is not on a watch page” issue means that a video is embedded on a webpage where it is not the primary content, such as a blog post or product page.
I guessed the solution is using custom post type, but i’m looking forward for another solution.
Hi TagDiv Support Team,
after installing the latest TagDiv update, all of my theme settings have been completely wiped out.
My header, footer, and every single design setting stored in the theme are gone. Even the registration and TagDiv-related plugins were reset to zero. It looks like everything connected to TagDiv has been erased.
I’ve managed to manually recreate a basic header and footer for now, but it’s impossible to rebuild all the individual details from scratch.
Can you please explain what happened and, more importantly, how I can restore my previous theme configuration?
Are there backups or recovery options available from the TagDiv Cloud, Theme Panel, or database that would help me recover my lost settings?
This issue is extremely frustrating and has caused a major disruption. I urgently need your assistance to get the site back to its previous state.
Thank you in advance for your quick support.
Best regards,
The 12.7.2 update for Newspaper has just been released:
I currently have version 12.7.1 with the tagdiv cloud library fix that was sent to me to install.
Does the new 12.7.2 update already include the fix, or do I need to reinstall it after updating?
I have installed the theme, but I can not activate it. I started the prosess and installed the plugins before I noticed the activation. What do I do?
Hi,
Yes, if the problem is local, it is indeed harder to check.
What I can recommend is to make sure that the same plugins from the old version are still installed, especially the tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library and tagDiv Standard Pack plugins. It would also help if you could provide some images or a video of the problem.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please go to your website plugins section and remove/delete the plugin tagDiv Cloud Library after that, reinstall the plugin from Newspaper > plugins.
Also, make sure that the theme requirements are set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Hi,
Usually, the table wp_actionscheduler_logs keeps growing because WooCommerce (and other plugins) log every background task but don’t clean them up automatically.
1. Clean it up manually using an sql code (one-time):
DELETE FROM wp_actionscheduler_logs WHERE log_date_gmt < NOW() - INTERVAL 14 DAY;
OPTIMIZE TABLE wp_actionscheduler_logs;
2. Use a plugin: Install “Action Scheduler Cleanup” — it deletes old logs automatically.
Option 2 is usually more friendly and safety.
Whenever I try to edit any pages with the TagDiv Composer I get a “Ooops… Error 404 – Sorry, but the page you are looking for doesn’t exist.” I have tried this will all the pages on my site. I confirmed all the plugins are installed and the sever settings are correct.

Hi, i downloaded a copy of my site to clean it up locally, the copy is ok up and running but there is that one issue that i have tried to fix downloading my site several times over different ways, but always 99% of my posts lost their responsive capacity, both images and texts are out of square and no resizing, can’t even slide, since the problem is local i cannot share link or so, anobody has any idea?
For some context i made this site many years ago, so i don’t know if it has something to do with the more recent version of it,
I have tried replace links, new installs and clean cache.
Hi,
For the problem _load_textdomain_just_in_time from td-cloud-library, please download and reinstall the plugin from here -> https://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/td-cloud-library.zip
Thank you!
Hello,
There can be a few situations. First, please make a test, install the classic editor, and see if the Post settings are displaying back. If the problem is resolved, then it is possible that in the Gutenberg editor, that option can be hidden or maybe moved to the right sidebar. In case the situation persists, it is possible that there is a plugin conflict with an extra plugin that is used; for this, please make a test using only the TagDiv plugins.
Thank you!
Hi,
I purchased the newspaper theme, acf pro and acf extended pro.
However, ACF Extended Pro is not showing up in my sidebar. It is installed and activated, it’s just not showing up.
Apparently this may have to do with the Newspaper theme? Is there a way that i can get to see it in my sidebar?
Hello tagDiv team,
I’ve encountered a strange issue with my homepage layout in the Newspaper theme – https://polishexpress.eu
I created a new section for a new category – let’s call it X1.
The layout is a manually built row divided into two columns:
Left column: Flex Block 2 → displays 1 latest post from category X1.
Right column: Flex Block 1 → displays 4 posts from the same category X1, with offset = 1 to avoid duplicates.
The homepage has the “Unique articles” option enabled, and all modules are set to sort by latest posts.
Inside TagDiv Composer, everything looks correct – the right Flex Block displays posts in the proper order (from newest to oldest).
But after saving and viewing the page (logged in or logged out), the posts in this module appear in a completely different, seemingly random order.
Strangely, if I copy the entire homepage layout (including this module) and paste it into another test page, the order works perfectly fine there.
The issue only occurs on the main homepage.
I’ve already tried:
Clearing the built-in theme cache (no cache plugins installed),
Disabling the offset option,
Verifying that other homepage modules display correctly (and they do).
Still, the problem persists only for this new block.
Any guidance on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
Hello! I’ve been in contact with the WPML support. This issue is taking an eternity for them, and this seems to be a problem with Newspaper and WPML in combination. So I write to you too and hope that one of you can fix it. Both of you claim that your software should work together. This is urgent, we would have launched the site already last week if this would have worked.
We started with one of the theme’s ready-made pages and began modifying it. Currently, we only have Wordfence, the TagDiv plugins required by the theme, WPML multilingual + string translation, and UpdraftPlus installed.
Symptoms:
The translatable strings appear as gibberish. On one page, all strings in both the source language (English) and the automatic translation to Swedish are just one hashtag. On another page, the source language looks like random characters, although the automatic translation to Swedish is sensible. It also seems like all strings are not picked up to become translated.
What is causing the translatable strings to appear as gibberish or random characters? Can you make the theme actually compatible with WPML?
I have installed the New Paper 12 theme on my website but the ads are not showing properly on my website.
I have to disagree with Calin — I’ve found that this theme says it’s responsive, but you have to install the Mobile Theme plugin to get presentation on mobile right with navigation, etc. and that forces you to place content in both the regular and mobile containers.
MY DESIRE is to have a fully responsive website that does not require a mobile plugin. This theme fails here, hard.
The site was very slow, so I installed the LiteSpeed Cache plugin. However, the logged-in state was not showing on the homepage, so I deactivated the plugin.

Hi
I installed the todaynews theme demo, and a single post repeats a loop of 5 or 6 posts on the same page.
I can’t understand out how to fix it.

Dear TagDiv Support Team,
We are currently experiencing severe performance issues related to TagDiv Composer. The plugin is causing very high CPU usage, the site becomes extremely slow or even stops responding.
Our setup details are as follows:
WordPress Multisite installation
Approximately 41,000 posts per site
Hosted on Kinsta Server (high-performance environment)
Traffic is significantly high during the day
We have attached some screenshots here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1rZE-YN_ER1ua-T1s9U8IjRnB_ga_NQw8?usp=sharing showing the issue, including the slow queries and performance logs. Could you please review them and suggest the best way to optimize or permanently fix this problem?
Your urgent assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Please set the theme requirements as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/. After that, just make sure that you install the demo with content – https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
Thank you!
