is it possible to install a different plug-in for User registration & management?
Or how can I reset the settings but not loose all the design updates and content changes on my template?
Several Issues, in the account creation process that I’m brought to from the login/signup in the header it generates and sends an email. When I click the link in the email to create a password it brings me to a window to create my password (this seems to be the previous experience I had). After I create my password it asks me to login again and when I log in nothing happens. If I go back to the home page it shows me as not logged in and when I try to log in (via the new experience) it says no account is found.
I tried to install WP User Manager, but it failed so I uninstalled it, could this have caused the issue?
Hello,
You can use only mobile theme without AMP, or create a mobile page.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use; for this , you need to convert the header and footer -> https://www.screencast.com/t/HrjOBNayd to edit with tagdiv Composer.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Thank you!

Hello!
Normally, the plugins should remain installed and active. Our plugins are not set up to deactivate themselves. Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones. If you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it and see if the problem goes away.
Delete the plugin and re-install it again: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-how-to-update-a-plugin/
Follow these threads: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-plugins-automatically-deactivate/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-cloud-library-auto-deactivated-a-few-minutes-after-i-activated-it/
I hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
Do you use tagdiv Newsltter plugin? If yes, then those come from there. Normally, shouldn’t appear so many times in the media files. Did you maybe delete the plugin and reinstall it?
Thank you!
Update: I tried reinstalling theme and plugins, but that did not solve the current issue. Then I remembered I am using the the Newspaper Child-theme. I activated the main theme and deactivated the child theme. Now it seems to work both in backend and frontend.
I can not find anything strange in the childtheme, only some settings for RankMath SEO plugin that I know are there.
Still could use your professional advice dough regarding the database issue.
Sorry for the long read!
Hello,
I’m desperate because I can’t manage to display a featured image on a website.
I only installed wordpress and newspaer12 with the urban observer theme.
If possible, I would like to create multiple posts using just the tagdiv composer.
However, these posts should always look different, i.e. not standard. I wasn’t able to do this by editing posts. When I edited a post, all other posts were displayed exactly the same except for the post image.
That’s why I thought I’d just try to create landing pages instead of posts.
But I’m already failing at displaying the featured image.
I can’t find a featured image in the tagdiv composer that I can simply drag into the page.
In the theme panel I have the show featured image active in the post settings area.
Who can help me please?
Kind regards
susan
Hello!
I purchased the template license and installed it, but it says I don’t have an active license on my “medby.org” domain.
Please help me activate my domain urgently.
medby.org
The code above clarifies why hundreds of pages get created with tds-switching-plans-wizard behind it! This should be fixed in the theme.
I believe the subscribe button was available in the header when I installed the Free News theme as you can see here https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_free_news_pro/
Is it possible it became hidden somehow by editing the header in the composer? Anyway can I unhide the button / activate it again and then hard remove it from header to get rid of the code?
Please advise asap. Thanks.
Hello,
Please note that you no longer have active support. Also, you have renamed the theme -> https://i.imgur.com/Z2oN8ds.png. Please do a clean install, and you will see that it works, but because you renamed the theme, this error appeared, and as a result, live search is no longer working https://i.imgur.com/wJyAovH.png
Thank you!
First, read carefully and try to understand because I wrote plenty of emails to tagDiv, so don’t have much time to repeat and repeat one thing all the time.
Can you tell me how to enable AJAX Live Search without the help of the tagDiv Cloud Library?
From the last 2 versions of the Newspaper theme, you have disabled (invisible) the “Live Search” ON Button from the Theme Panel.
AJAX Live Search works on mobile and wants to be enabled on desktop.
tagDiv Cloud Library: delete the plugin and reinstall it many times without success.
The main thing is I do not use any kind of Cloud Templates, so maybe I don’t need “tagDiv Cloud Library plugin”.
I don’t use a page for a homepage.
I don’t use the child theme.
Only activated tagdiv plugins with no luck because from the last 2 versions of the Newspaper theme, you have disabled (invisible) the “Live Search” ON Button from the Theme Panel.
tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Mobile Theme, and tagDiv Standard Pack are already installed and activated with no luck for “AJAX Live Search”.

I think I changed the default Admin ID 1 in WordPress a few days ago. That might be why the old ID 1 needs to be updated in the database for the tagDiv Cloud Library plugin to work.
My main purpose is to enable AJAX Live Search on the Desktop without the help of the tagDiv Cloud Library plugin.
You have to guide me to enable “AJAX Live Search” manually from theme or plugin files in any way because I have been struggling past 2 months.
Hello. My website’s frontend is messed up and I don’t know what’s going on. I’ve already deactivated all plugins, reinstalled the theme and updated WordPress, but it didn’t work. Can you help me fix this problem?

Hi,
Can you tell me how to enable AJAX Live Search without the help of the tagDiv Cloud Library?
AJAX Live Search works on Mobile and wants to enable it on Desktop.
tagDiv Cloud Library won’t work with the “Tech News” template, so please check on your side.

Hello!
This demo uses listings and taxonomies. The templates for everything are in Cloud Templates -> CPT/Taxonomies. The template used there is this one: https://app.screencast.com/hY3FxeC2CIjIf
This template can be found in the Cloud Library: https://app.screencast.com/hWpGkt1DeGZyF
Make sure you have a taxonomy created with ACF plugin, and from that “+”, you can install it on your end and change the custom fields and terms with yours: https://app.screencast.com/2Wpo69f1AVado
Thank you!
Hello!
@simchris Thank you for your kind words and your helpful workarounds.
A code on your front end appears only when you have a plugin uninstalled and when it should be installed, so instead of the code, it will display the element from that plugin. Check in the Newspaper -> Plugins. Make sure that the tagdiv plugins are installed and activated.
Thank you!
Hello!
Go to the Newspaper -> Plugins and ensure you have the Standard Pack plugin installed and active.
1. Did you use the Homepage post shortcode?
2. Do you still have the ad code in the theme panel settings?
3. Check the settings from the theme panel settings -> header -> logo. Maybe you have a backup of the theme panel settings? Do you can import it from Import/Export: https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
Thank you!
Hello,
The latest version is 12.7, do you have a backup to rollback? If yes, please use it and update the theme to version 12.7
Also, please make sure after updating you also have the plugin like tagdiv Composer, and tagdiv Cloud Library installed and activated.
Thank you!
Hello
I have the same issue. I followed your instructions above:
deactivate, delete, and reinstall tagDiv Composer from Newspaper -> Plugins and check if the issue persists.
Also, clear the cache from your plugins
But the newspaper logo still displays. I also can’t remove the contact us or update the copyright in the footer
Is there something else that could be causing this?
Thanks

Hello,
Please disable the AMP and tagdiv mobile theme plugins. AMP is deprecated as of January 2023-> https://developer.bigcommerce.com/docs/storefront/wordpress/platform-integration/enabling-amp so we don’t longer recommend it.

Hi there,
I have the mobile theme plugin installed for my site madinnorway.org. The trouble I’m having is that the design of the site on desktop is affected by the design choices I make when working in the mobile tab on TagDiv. I imagined that the designs could be independent of one another. Is there a setting I am missing to make that possible? Thanks so much,
Karin
Hello,
Please deactivate, delete, and reinstall tagDiv Composer from Newspaper -> Plugins and check if the issue persists.
Thank you!
I just tried updating to the latest version (which I have done many times previously without issue) and after being stuck on the maintenance page for some time I am now unable to complete.
tagDiv Composer is showing as “not installed” and
tagDiv Cloud Library as “inactive”
I have tried updating/installing them numerous times but keeps showing as “failed”
Both on the Fast Start page and directly on the Plugins page.
Current version is showing as 12.6.9
Please assist
Thanks
