I didn’t remove the newsmag theme before installation and now I can’t activate the theme. How can I do?
thank you
The mobile theme displays a simpler version of the website, it comes with it’s own templates. So what is displayed on mobile with the mobile theme active, will be different from what is displayed on desktop, or when the mobile theme is deactivated
– https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
This theme demo has the mobile theme active, you can check it with a mobile to see how it looks
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/
The AMP + mobile theme result will be similar to that.
There could be problems with the mobile theme when using various caching plugins. We recommend the WP super cache with these settings
– https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Based on user feedback there might be problems like the mobile theme being displayed on desktop in some cases, caused by caching. For example the total cache can cause this.
Hi I can’t work out where to download and upload this demo content from please can someone assist. I’ve installed the theme on wordpress site, but customising it is challenging without having the demo.
I tried to explain above why this may happen, if the website loads slowly and the stylesheet and other website resources are not loaded in time, the tester will detect various issues.
Without the stylesheet loaded in time, for example the menu items are detected as being too close together – http://prntscr.com/o4dp3t
With the stylesheet they are not close together actually – http://prntscr.com/o4dpie
You can try to begin optimizing the website, making it faster to avoid such issues. Reduce the plugin number if possible, maybe use a CDN, consider a better hosting, also make sure the cache is set as recommended

Hi,
From what I can see now you are using the responsive version of the theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/T7BhJT1etM maybe you have installed the mobile theme plugin and now this is deactivate -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Hi,
Uninstalling the demo, or installing a new demo should remove the previous demo completely. The website should be as it was before installing the demo
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
So the homepage should be removed as well. Maybe it’s a caching issue, try to clear the cache, also force refresh the page in the browser (Ctrl+Shift+R). Let us know.
Thanks
Hi Simion,
Initially (after last update), I wasn’t able to see the indication “NEW” at the top. Then I deactivated cloud library, deleted and reinstalled. As I still had issues with “NEW”, I contacted your support and they fixed it. Now, “NEW” is there, but I’m getting the message. Same message is on all old and whatever new I try to make. But when I start creating a single post template the appearance of ‘edit’ isn’t like it used to be, something is definitely wrong.
Hi,
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme plugins and child theme ( if you are using ), clear all cache, deactivate the cache plugin and try again.
Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Also please provide some more details about the problem you are facing and some screenshots; did you made any updates or install some plugins before this problem to appear?
Thank you!
Hi, we have the same issue :
We just installed the theme.
Switching between default template (style 1, style 2, etc.) for single posts doesn’t work and we have the same messages with templates uploaded from the cloud templates.
Can you help us ?
Hi,
Some more details would be helpful, what exactly is happening when you try and install a demo? Should be no problem – https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
The most important thing to check is the theme requirements guide
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
If these requirements are not met, there could be various problems.
Let me know.
Thanks

Hi,
I have checked your website and the Google Adsense seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/D7XRFuEXlq Please note that you do not need to use another plugin for Ads, sorry! You just need the default theme functionality for Google Adsense. The theme takes only renders your added Ad code in the right section and displays it to your frontend. After you have added the ad code, it will take a while until the Google index your Ads and return the results. If you have installed an AdBlocker to your browser, please disable it and check the results.
Hope this helps!
Thank you!
Hello !
We are sorry for your inconvenience !
It is mandatory to delete all what was left from the older version before intalling this update. Overwriting the files would cause a lot of problems and maybe you’ve missed something while deleting the old files. Have you checked the plugins to be deleted too ? If you are certain that you have installed the updates correctly by deleting all of the older versions and made a clean install from scratch please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Also take a look at our documentation about installing the theme and plugins: https://tagdiv.com/how-to-install-plugins-and-update-plugins/ ; https://tagdiv.com/how-to-install-newspaper-theme/

Hello.
I installed the Beauty Blog demo and played around with it. Then I uninstalled but my page is still constructed with the demo. Did I did anything wrong? Please help.
Before today there was no problem. Once site was updated with newer newspaper page builder just shows blanks for everything. Can edit anything, cjange anything . Ive had to reinstall back ups 4 times today alone.
Hello !
After you de-activate the Mobile Theme you will have to delete your cache. For that we do recommend using WP Super Cache. Find out more here: https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you want to use the mobile theme you will have to recreate the content of your page in the Mobile Theme Editor wich can be found under the page editor: https://www.screencast.com/t/2Qb4Jtw5m
Thank you !

I took the backup of my website and restored it but these errors are happening.
First, There is no option to customize Newspaper. There are only three options. I have attached the screenshot of the same.
Second, I am not able to install the plugin, whenever I am installing, there is a Ajax error.
Third, after trying to install the plugin, when i open my website, i am getting this error.
And then when i rename the td-composer in file manager, website is working but at the top, am getting this error.
Help, please.
Hello !
In order to hide the view count and published date you will have to go into Theme Panel – Block Settings and disable it: https://www.screencast.com/t/568gv8f0
If you have already done this please make sure to clear your cache ! We do recommend WP Super Cache: https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you !

I tried it as you say, the desktop version with the composer and the woocommerce shortcode in it like this – http://prntscr.com/o3qq9v
And in the mobile editor – http://prntscr.com/o3qqrk
For me it looks fine in desktop – http://prntscr.com/o3qr4c
And on mobile with the mobile theme active – http://prntscr.com/o3qw04
I then placed an order, seems to work – https://www.screencast.com/t/jJIHiNE5DJrV
I am using the latest theme version and woocommerce 3.6.4.
You could try to delete the theme and theme plugins, then install them again. Check if it works after doing so.
