If you are using the Newspaper, you need to simply install the Black Version of the theme and then, install the bbpress according to the documentation from here -> https://codex.bbpress.org/

Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
WP_MEMORY_LIMIT try to increase it at least to 256mb.
Please download the theme again and delete not override the current theme, after that install/update the theme that you download.

AUTHOR BOX keeps showing when it shouldn´t. No cache plugins installed, with cache plugin does the same.

Unfortunately, the Newsleter plugin has not been tested with our theme and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry! Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins.

I have installed the black version of the theme, however when I view the site from mobile phones (small iPhones) its missing most of the content. If I view the black demo version (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_black/) from the save devices, the content is there so I know its has to do something with my site.
From tablets I see the contact just fine (android). Can you please tell me what might be the fault here?

Maybe I’m getting something wrong.
I’ve installed the plugin you suggested to remove unused thumbnails from my server. It says: “Delete thumbnail files for old unregistered sizes in order to free up server space. This may result in broken images in your posts and pages.”
So, once I run that, it will result in broken images. What’s the sense in that?
Then, It says that my thumbnails are 17 different sizes. I only have 11 activated in my Newspaper Theme panel. So, once again, what’s the sense in regenerating all of them?
My question still remains. I need to remove all the thumbnails that the template is not using. So, how can I do that? Please, I need some help, I really need to reduce the 400,000 inodes that I have in the server urgently.

We have had endless difficulties updating to the new Theme 9.7. It doesn’t work for us.
Found a clash (images not fitting correctly in sidebar) between TadDiv composer and WP Bakery so disabled Bakery and working good again.
Have tried turning off every plugin except TagDiv but still 9.7 theme doesn’t work.
Can I pay someone to install the new theme and get it working? Is there anyone with the skills available?
I feel like I am going around in circles.

When i create an (empty) child theme and activate the WPBakery plugin, the layout breaks.
It differs from the parent theme, although no changes were made to the child theme yet.
Version: 9.7.2
Repro steps:
Install parent theme
Create basic child theme
Activate child theme
Activate WPBakery plugin
View website
Expected behaviour:
(Empty) child theme should look like the parent (default) theme or no differences in layout
Actual behaviour:
Layout of (child) theme is broken different after activating WPBakery
Remarks:
The parent (default) theme seems to be working correctly with the WPBakery plugin activated
Please advice how to resolve this?

Check if your theme was properly installed or updated via FTP way, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ In most cases, that problem happens due to a bad configuration of your parameters. PHP memory can be exhausted and that’s why you cannot save anything.

I think this was some kind of glitch. I did a lot of playing around disabling and enabling plugins, narrowed it down to the time when VC and tDC were both activated. I reinstalled VC 5.7 and things are working normally now.
Just in case someone else runs into this:
Setup: WordPress 5.1.1, Newspaper 5.7.2, tD Composer 2.4 with above patch, Visual Composer 5.7
Problem: I was unable to add images in either posts or pages via any method (classic editor, gutenberg, tagdiv composer, visual composer), I could add the image element using Visual Composer, but not make any changes to the image attributes, or add or change the image itself. As I disabled plugins I found that when both tagdiv and visual composer were enabled is when the problem happened. I fixed it by deleting then reinstalling the latest version of Visual Composer (5.7).

Do you use any image optimization plugins or tools other than the theme lazyload? They could conflict. I see a rocket lazyload – http://prntscr.com/nlfex0, also I believe the Jetpack photon is active – https://jetpack.com/support/site-accelerator/ and maybe the theme lazyload is also active – http://prntscr.com/nlffy6
All of these could conflict and cause problems. Try using only one lazyload and deactivate the others.
The view counter can be affected by caching or maybe minification, this is the main reason why it can stop working. I suggest as a quick test, to deactivate the caching plugin and check again. We recommend if possible to use the WP super cache plugin

That is quite unusual, could be because of the multisite but I can’t say for sure. If you are a super admin I believe it should work. Do all the sites in the multi-site copy use the latest theme version or they share same theme? Maybe the plugin can;t be installed because there is an older theme installed for one of the sites.
We haven’t made any tests with a multisite environment however up to this point, I really can’t say why this is happening exactly.
What if you disable the multisite and try to install the plugins? Or what if you try to install other plugins, do they install properly?

I just logged into WP Dashboard to continue designing my site, and upon visiting the front page, it looks completely different from when I last left it. It looks like a number of elements are not working all of a sudden.
There are no signs of any updates needed, and I have not installed any new plugins or back-end changes since my last visit.

It is mandatory to delete all what was left from the older version before intalling this update. Overwriting the files would cause a lot of problems. Currently, on DangerMansLair.com I have a syndication plug-in “FEEDWORDPRESS” installed to syndicate between my site and a friendly competitor site, Paintball.media
I’m currently experiencing that the ‘feature’ images are no displaying on DangeMansLair.com I’ve used a gentleman on Fivr to fix it and he indicates that he can not fix the problem and suggested I contact the vendor.
Who do I work with here to resolve this issue?
