Hey,

I just recently installed the theme, set up the “News Magazine” demo, and changed a couple of color settings.

After a while, I opened a new incognito windows and went on my website. Basically, the homepage is stuck showing the crappy old “twenty fourteen” theme page that I had randomly put together last night.

This only happens if I set the homepage as “show static page”. If I set it to “show latest posts”, I’m able to view the proper page with the Newspaper theme on it. This hapens even if I select the ‘default Coming Soon page’ on WP settings: the same crappy page keeps showing up.

This is driving me nuts as I’ve deleted each and every possible page that could have been created last night with that old theme, and replaced it with a fresh, new one that I only edited using this very theme, but no matter what I do, if I set the homepage as “show static page”, this crappy thing shows up whenever I try to access the website from outside of the WP control panel.

Please help.

Hi, just got upgrade to theme 8.5 and begin to test it before deployment.
The videos we share are mostly on facebook but when published in the Newspaper Theme we dont get any thumbnail, in the default WordPress installation theme we do get this tumbnail, can someone with more experience point me to the righ direction, thanks…

I install WPBakery Page Builder plugin attached in zip file downloaded, but is not working in multisite instance, how can solve that?

I am writing to report some issues that are occurring after the 8.5 update

The search button is located at the bottom of the menu on the left side.
and the plug-in tagDIV Multi-Purpose, supposedly giving a conflict with the theme.

or better, when the Multi-Purpose tagDIV plugin is activated it does disappear the “Save” button the settings
and the theme panel becomes gray when the plugin is active.

When the Multi-Purpose tagDIV plugin is disabled, the panel returns to its normal color and the “save” button becomes active.

I uninstalled some plugins to see if it was giving some conflict with some third-party plugins

nothing different happened, continued to give the same problem.

I reinstalled Theme NewsPapers twice and nothing happened either
he still has the same problem.

Currently installed this on a staging site and once I’m in the theme panel, I’m unable to save any options. There is no save ‘button’ within the panel it appears.

I have a website that is using an old version of Newspaper (version 4.5). We recently installed an SSL certificate on the site and after it started using the HTTPS protocol some features stopped working, such as the TagDiv Gallery in the posts, the WPBakery Page Builder slide, the Ajax pagination and the search option on the main page (Home). Could you tell me what might have happened?

Recently, I downloaded the Version 8.5 of the #Newspaper theme and activated it on my domain
After activating the theme, I installed the ‘Gadgets Demo’ for the layout of the site.
The strange thing is that the site is taking more than usual time to load and showing an error when I inspected the page.

I tried searching for the link through the source code of the page, but I wasn’t able to locate where that link is actual present.
I don’t know where from this URL came, but I want to remove it, as it is not letting the page to load properly and fast.
Please tell me how to eliminate this error.

My client purchase this theme and we really like it. But I am having trouble while installing demo I am unable to see images of blog posts. My client likes this demo: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_health/. Can you helps me to fix to get page exactly like this? Please note client already have data (blog posts) we want to use that posts to look like this.

I have following message on my WordPress dashboard.
“Open Design Options: Important notice: You have an outdated version of WPBakery Page Builder Design Options. It is required to review and save it.” But I installed the newest version of Visual Composer (5.45) and your newest version of Newspaper Theme 8.5.
When I click I get to knowhere. I do not have the rights to work on it I get the message.
How can I fix it?

Just updated my Newspaper theme on my main site AND installed it on a brand new dummy site.

On the main site I see as available options for the ROW layout:
1/1 .. 2/3 + 1/3 .. 1/3 + 2/3 .. 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3

Then below that, Row stretch, Row ID and Extra Class

Nothing else beyond that…which has ALWAYS been the case with that main site even before I ever updated the theme.

Thing is, on my dummy site, I see a whole lot more.

Sooooo, Was it Always supposed to have shown those other options and items? Or were these new things introduced with the new update?
