Make sure that you are using the latest theme version installed via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of them, leave just to active only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, if the problem is still there and if you need more assistance and guidance in this case, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can take a closer look at your setup page.

There is no need to buy or register the revolution slider included in the theme package. You can use any of the plugins features and the demo sliders included. First install the plugin, then import the demo slider needed

Configure it to display the posts you wish. You can place it on pages like so

When installing a demo there is an option to import dummy content. This process will import a demo menu, categories, posts etc. So you can simply choose to install the default demo with content, and everything will be imported.

Sorry for the inconveniences you are facing using the theme and theme plugins. It is not our intention to cause such issues. The tagDiv composer is in continuous development, it’s functionality and features may change in the future. Currently this composer will be activated automatically the moment the theme is updated or installed. So if Visual composer is preferred and used instead, it will have to be deactivated in these cases.
The transition basically means that pages have to be recreated with the tagDiv composer. There is a level of compatibility between the two composers, elements like blocks and grids share the same shortcodes.

We know of 3 possible causes for this issue.
1) The wp super cache setting to cache page. Please only use these settings in wp super cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you use any other cache plugin, make sure you do not cache pages for known users or for logged in users depending on the plugin setting.
2) Do not use this setting in seo by yoast: https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh
3) Editing a page that was previously built with another page builder.
You need to edit the page with the builder it was initially created with. Do not edit a page with tagdiv composer if it was not originally built with it. If you created your page in visual composer and then switched to our own page builder, you will have to re-create that page
Please test this on a brand new page with no existing content.

1. Is any possibility to make a look without installing the demo? From zero.
2. Where the submit/save button in Console/Newspaper/Theme panel section?
3. How to save changes?
Using child theme. No Save burron.
I installed the api plugin, updated the booster plugin nothing happened. Disabled the plugins the same error.
I have followed the directions to install envato API and have it configured properly. However, where it shows upgrade available, efforts to click there produce no results. I can’t find a solution to update/upgrade this product.

This is regarding the use of child themes.
1. Supposed if I have done some minor CSS edit in the child theme, can I still update both the parent theme AND the child theme? Or do I just update the parent theme only?
2. If I update both, will my custom CSS be affected?
3. And to clarify, for updating, I have to deactivate the previous theme, activate another random theme, delete this previous theme, then upload and install the latest theme, then activate? Same goes for child theme?

I just bought the theme, uploaded and activated it with demo import (3 different attempts made).
While at the beginning it seems fine, as soon as I try to operate a change, or simply navigating, it does not work.
In particular, pages appear “deconstructed” (see screenshot https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/3009611/2ec929af1227cbd8b52e90c25fc05e77). Sometimes it turns back to work, others not, but I was not able to understand how and why. The theme in installed on an existing website, with a lot of contents, on a VPS (register.it) in a staging site (stage.ilcaffegeopolitico.net)

Generally a good practice to keep a backup of your website prior to moving to *any* major theme version upgrade. Also good to review changelog prior to install. Just because there is a new version doesn’t mean you have to use it. Often themes with major version updates add or change things, and this may mean site needs adjustments to work with new features.
ALWAYS: back up your dbase via MySQL/hosting account, files, website via FTP to a local hard drive or cloud backup for safe keeping. This is why WordPress also recommends this before installing new versions of WP, for same reason. Things change; site might or might not need to be adjusted to work with changes.
If you are not keeping prior install copies (and good time to start planning to keep backups of your projects!), you can usually email tagdiv to have them email you the prior version, unless it had some big security flaw (there were couple of versions with security flaw, just like WordPress itself).
If you need the last version (e.g., 8.4x), you can often email them directly from the contact info in forum to “ask nicely” for the prior version. 🙂

i am not able to install my visual composer plugin ,please help
I installed ver. 8.5 yesterday included js composer Tagdiv composer and multipurpose. All works fine, but i can’t figure out how i can add parallax to image in The new Hero Element. I saw a demo that had parallax effect but i just can’t figure out how to make it work in Tagdiv Composer.
I can see the parallax choice under css fane, bit nothing happens when i activates it.
Can you please help me with that?

Is it a problem with my theme/download or has it been removed as a theme but not from the sales-demo’s on websites advertising the Newspaper 8 ? I find it misleading that I see it online but no on my theme.

There was WP Bakery page builder plugin present when I installed newspaper theme. Can I use Beaver Page Builder instead of Wp Bakery page builder? Will it create any problems with the newspaper theme (like in responsiveness?

I was installing Newspaper 2 days ago. The problem I have is that the category-pages do not always load the images properly of the articles that are shown on sportguide.ch. I already raised the WP Memory Limit to 128 M and it seemed it helped a little bit, but still it happens that if I choose one menupoint (for example News) the menupoint loads the articles properly and another one (for example Athlete) does not work right.
Any suggestions what I could do, to make sure that every category-page is working right?
Hi, I’ve installed the theme and make a preview before activation but I have this error “Fatal error: Call to undefined method WP_Upgrader::clear_destination() in /home/xxxxxx/domains/sitename.it/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_first_install.php on line 164”.
I’ve reinstalled the theme many times and installed (and activated) all plugins but the error is the same. I don’t know where is the problem!
Technical support strongly recommends:
Our recommended way for updating your theme is via FTP way because this is the surest method.
Also keep in mind:
FTP always best way to update; and you must always DELETE the original theme folder, then upload new one; *NOT* over-write as you end up with old/new files mixed together — this is not how WordPress is designed to work. Same with plugins. All plugins when updated via the WP admin panel *delete* old folder then upload *new* one; not merge or over-write/mix them.
Notice that you can automatically update your theme using the Envato Market plugin, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ but we do not recommend to do this. Our recommended way for theme installing is via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard and in that way you will avoid eventual problems which might appear.

I am developing locally in MAMP (MAC). I upgraded from Newspaper 8.2 to 8.5. Everything seems to work fine accept the new Landing Page feature (“tagDiv Multi-Purpose” plugin) does not function. Specifically,
• the “tagDiv Multi-Purpose” plugin is installed and “active”.
• I create a new page using “Pagebuilder + Overlay menu” template page setting.
• PROBLEM: None of the buttons are available under “Elements” when I try to edit and build the page with tagDiv Composer.
Under “Themes Panel” > “PLUGINS’ SETTINGS” > “General Settings” > “BUTTONS STYLE” this alert appears:
