Installing a new demo will uninstall the one you have now. The settings you have in the theme panel now will be replaced by the settings in the new demo. Everything related to the previous demo will be removed and replaced by the new demo.

You could for example create a testing install on a sub-domain if possible, or locally, with a copy of the current website. There are plugins that can duplicate the website, or clone it (like the duplicator plugin). Then install the new demo there first, to see the results. This would be better than trying it on the live website, it is worth considering

You can install it very easy by following these steps:

1. Go to: Dashboard – Newspaper – Install Demos:

2. Select your demo and install it. If you want to see how it looks with content too just select the ” Include content ” button:

In order to have all the demos available you must have the tagDiv Cloud Library Updated and active.

Pages will be provided when a demo is installed, with content – http://prntscr.com/nju4q3

Then the demo homepage will be imported and you can edit it with the composer, and configure the elements in it to show the posts you want

Also replace the other demo elements with your own (logo, menus etc).

You can enter this code in a new page – http://prntscr.com/nju7gc then edit it with the composer and configure it. The default demo doesn’t have many specific elements, it is the simplest demo.

Please not that our demos are build with tagDiv Composer, also some of them like iGossip, Gaming need tagDiv Cloud Library , so in order to make them to work you’ll need to have tagDiv Composer activate, also if the demo use cloud templates you need to have tagDiv Cloud library activate too;

Our demos are build with tagDiv Composer, also some of them like Fast news, iGossip, Gaming need tagDiv Cloud Library , in order to make them to work ( to import them ) you’ll need to have tagDiv Composer activate, also if the demo use cloud templates you need to have tagDiv Cloud library activate too;

Please check our documentation for -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-installing-demos/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/fF5sVNCj if you edit the posts demos or pages please copy the content and past it in a new posts/pages with a different name, because all post that comes with the demo will be remove when you uninstall/delete the demo or change it, making new posts/pages you can delete the demos and theme without losing your content and customization make in theme.

Please notice that all of our demos were already installed at your WP Install when you are using the theme. You can use any demo you want and also, you can disable it when you want. For more information about installing the demo, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ Very important is to create your own content and not edit the dummy content because when you want to disable your demo, the content (edited content) will be lost. Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
WP_MEMORY_LIMIT try to increase it at least to 256mb.

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

The easiest way will be to use the Fast News demo, using this demo you’ll have the header you need and this can be edit only by admin.
I recommend you to import only the demo settings with out content.

Yes, when installing a demo without content pages will not be provided. On the other hand if it’s installed with content, the pages will be imported and they will display demo posts. I should have mentioned this previously, sorry for this.

Create pages or import them from the cloud (these can be edited and modified). Configure each element inside them to display the content you want, then set it as homepage.

There are many elements in the cloud, like block and grid designs, sections etc. These can be used to quickly create pages and templates.
