Please not that our demos are build with tagDiv Composer, also some of them like Fast news, iGossip, Gaming need tagDiv Cloud Library , in order to make them to work ( to import them ) you’ll need to have tagDiv Composer activate, also if the demo use cloud templates you need to have tagDiv Cloud library activate too;

So you have imported the homepage of the demo with the cloud library, or install the demo? You can edit the respective homepage regardless, with the tagDiv composer. Modify the elements you want as needed, then save it

Depends on what this design is, what exactly you mean by importing design in the page. Some more details about this would be helpful.

It is true that uninstalling a demo or installing a new one will remove what has been imported by it. A full demo install with content imports demo posts, categories, menus, logo, images, theme panel settings, and in some cases a stylesheet. These will all be removed/reset when uninstalling or installing a new one. Your own created posts, menus, etc will not be affected, just the demo content.

There are two ways you could do this.

You can import just the homepage if you want to, without installing the actual demo. The homepage of that demo is available in the cloud library

Then you can set this page as homepage in WordPress – https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
Also import the cloud post template used by the demo – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/dell-will-invest-125-billion-in-chinas-tech-in-the-next-5-years/

Or you can install the demo with content – https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ which will import all of the above, also the header customization, the stylesheet and different theme panel settings which will replace your current settings.

Regardless of what you choose the posts that you have created will not be affected. All the post are kept in the website database. If you want to keep them safe make periodic database backups, this is even recommended in general.

Also the post should work properly if you have used only the WordPress editor, but the pages in most cases will need to be recreated.

But first will be recommended to make a full backup to your website and database.

What exactly does not look as in the demo? Please let me know and we will investigate, what demo did you install and what does not look as in the demo after installing it. The default demo does not use any cloud library templates. It uses default templates only.

In the example you provided you use a big grid 5 and below it a block 4. So this template is not suited to be applied for multiple categories. Please use category grids and loops as I mentioned above. Then the template can be applied to all categories and there will be no problem.

Normal blocks and grids will always show the same content according to their filtering. Category grids and loops will show the proper content for each category. Edit that template and instead of the big grid 5 use a category grid, below it use a loop. That would be all there is to it.

For the tags only one template can be set, in general. You can use a loop element in the tag template as the main content, with a sidebar containing a block sorted by latest for example, like these tag template examples https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Tag
If you preview and edit one of those templates you can see that a loop element is used

The loop doesn’t require any filtering, it will do it automatically depending on what is currently viewed. So that same loop can display for example posts that have the tag “reviews” when that tag page is accessed, or posts with the tag “wordpress” when that tag page is accessed.

The posts will be safe, they are kept in the website database. So deleting the theme, reinstalling it, updating it, will not affect the posts.

You can install any demo you like, note that this will import new theme panel settings and additional design where needed (stylesheet). If you have a demo currently installed everything related to it will be removed when installing a new one

However in order to be safe, please consider making a full backup before beginning. There are guides online about making backups in WordPress.

Installing, uninstalling demos is not restricted by the license or have anything to do with the license. You have purchased the theme, now you can install demos as you please and use them, there is no problem. The license is for the whole theme, you can use it as you want.

The demos have two install options. One is with content, meaning that the homepage and all the other pages of the demo will be imported, a demo menu, demo posts and categories, demo logo, additional stylesheet where needed (design), theme panel settings.

The other one will not import any dummy content, no homepage, no demo posts, menus, categories, only the additional stylesheet (where needed) and theme panel settings will be imported.

To better get used to the theme in some cases it is better to install a demo with content, it will look just like in the live pages, the images used may be different

Then begin to gradually customize the website, set your own logos, menus, configure the blocks and grids to show your own posts etc

Uninstalling a demo will remove any demo elements that have been imported. The website will be as it was before installing it. Installing a different demo after one demo has been installed, will replace demo elements from the previous demo with the new ones.

It is recommended to make a full backup before uninstalling a demo, just to be safe.

Please note that separate demos will have a separate style for the different theme elements. If you want to replicate another demo without actually installing it, the alternative would be using cloud library templates. You can import any template from particular demos on your install. I;m not sure why you say you cannot use 3 columns as the composer can have up to 4 columns. How is the content being pulled left? Please provide a screenshot of what you mean.

As for the specific block 15 you mention, you can also impot it using the cloud library plugin.
