Unfortunately you can not recover your articles, if you edit post/pages from demo and you do not copy the content in a new post/page this will be remove when you’ll uninstall that demo or you install a new one ( installing a new demo with/without content will remove internally the content that was come with that demo).

On the admin page, go to “Newspaper”, and press install demos.
After this find the Journal demo, and press uninstall. After uninstalling journal, you should be able to install all other themes again.

Hi,
I had installed the Journal demo with content and then decided I would uninstall and try a different demo.
But I no longer have the option to import all content – only settings? If I try to import content there is no button to click OK (but there is for settings only?)
Any ideas, other than uninstalling and reinstalling the theme?

This is the Third time I have Installed Demo Theme “SAY WHAT?” on the same Domain Name, on day 1 of installation everything works fine but on next day when I try to open the url, I only see the dysfunctional menu. Please help as it has wasted too much of my time already. my website url is nextcelebrity.com
I tried the same demo, bit it is not happening for me. All is working as before installing git.

I did find the problem and it’s in the Demo. I did a lot of work and reinstalled the whole site again. It was loading perfect until I Installed Church demo. After installing church demo TD stops loading correctly and it takes forever to load. Uninstalling the demo resulting in TD Composer working back normal. Could you please fix that bug so that we can be able to use Church demo? Thanks

Please not that our demos are build with tagDiv Composer, also some of them like iGossip need tagDiv Cloud Library , so in order to make them to work you’ll need to have tagDiv Composer activate, also if the demo use cloud templates you need to have tagDiv Cloud library activate too; you can not import demo and deactivate TagDiv Composer because this is the theme builder.

I did noticed that Classy homepage was very similar when not even identical to Erotic, but the post-pages are very different. I hope I will be able to reproduce the design of posts in the same way it was in Erotic Magazine.
It could be a great help if you could confirm the following things to do:
1 – Newspaper > Install Demos > Classy Magazine (only settings!)
2 – Theme panel > Custom Code => Replace CSS class .td-erotic with .td-classy
Last question
If I open the file Newspaper8 > includes > demos > erotic > demo_style.css there are 504 lines of CSS code.
If I open the file Newspaper9 > includes > demos > classy > demo_style.css there are only two lines of CSS code.
Same with the demo_style.less file.
Shall I be worried not to find the customization of the Erotic Magazine Demo by installing Classy Magazine?

I’m using Newspaper and I updated from 8 to 9.
I don’t even have the “cloud templates”, never had. When I started the website I imported a demo that was called Erotic (Newspaper > Install Demos). After installing there where a lot of things imported like classes (.td-erotic) and so on. Now it’s all lost and I even can’t find the demo in the “Install Demos” session. In fact if I browse the theme I can see that in Newspaper8 I had Newspaper > includes > demos > erotic. In Newspaper9 there is no erotic folder in demos.
I really don’t know what to do, any help would be really appreciate.

Don’t edit the demo posts, create your own posts. If in the future you decide to uninstall the demo or install a different one, the demo posts and pages will be removed

Create new pages or edit the homepage provided with the demo (note what is said above), and add what you want want from the available elements in the tagDiv composer, grids, blocks etc. These will display your posts, configure them as you want. Editing a page is possible from many places

Be sure to set featured images or videos for the posts so the theme can create thumbnails from them (these are the images that represent the post in blocks/grids)

That message you are receiving will not cause any problems. It can appear when changes have been made to the page in the backend.

If you want to install a demo, you have to install it from the demos section, not the cloud library. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
The cloud library plugin offers parts of the demos you can import to your site, but not the whole demo.

The black demo has extensive CSS customization in order to look as it is

Uninstalling a demo or installing a new one will remove this customization of the previous demo and also the theme panel settings, leaving everything as it was before the demo was installed or replacing it with the ones from the new demo.
You could remove the body class of the demo from the theme panel, then the demo CSS will not apply anymore. Should be a class set here – http://prntscr.com/ma13kp called td-black I believe. This may work, you could give it a try.

If you install now the demo the settings from theme panel will be change, all so you can chose to to install the demo with content or with out content, only the settings -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
But if you made some changes in posts/page that comes from a demo and you chose to install other demo the files ( posts/pages ) that comes with the first demo will be change with new ones, in order to avoid that you need to create new pages/pots and copy the content from those that comes with the demo and install in those made be you, in this way your content will be always save.

both have been set in the php.ini file by bluehost employee, they linked me the documennt as proof. Is not showing up in the newspaper “system status”. Is there a way to resolve this or will it have nno effect on performance as the new values have been confirmed as set? tried uninstalling and reinnstalling demo but that had no effect.
Also I am beinng asked to activate newspaper everytime i install a new demo format, is this normal?

Hi, I am newbie here. So I am still learning.
I finally made up my mind and purchased Newspaper 9. And I am now trying to decide my hosting service. I would like to know if Tagdiv Newsaper 9 theme and all it’s demos work fine with wordpress.com? I read the related posts here on the forum and seems the responses could not make it crystal clear. One reply from the staff team even said the the earlier version (8.X) of the theme could only workw ith wordpress.org. And multiple people seems had problem to upload to wordpress.
I know wordpress.com allows third party theme to be uploaded if business plan is subscribed. And this si what I plan to do if I shoudl choose wordpress.com But anyone expereince any problem installing or running TD composer, TD library with wordpress.com? What are the problems? I am want to focus the discussion on Newspaper 9 and it’s updated resoruces, not the earlier verions.
If wordpress.com is not the best option to you, which hosting service would you recommend that would work perfectly with News 9 theme all the plug-ins and all the TD resoruces. What are some drawbacks you can think of with wordpress.com related to the NEwspaper 9 theme, TD composer, demos and related resources?
