From last month onwards we are facing a very weird problem with the newspaper theme. All of sudden the logo disappears, the menu settings go to default, the footer disappears, the settings for the header to show the ads disappears. We have to add the above settings manually. But then after some days it again gets reset. Sometimes after 5 days, sometimes after 1 hour and sometimes after a week. This is very irritating as we are bringing traffic to the site and suddenly the website looks very bad because of the above-mentioned problem.
Can you tell us what could be wrong with the theme? Why is the theme getting reset so frequently and that too automatic? Without anyone doing anything?

You should create original favicon for your site to not confuse your site with others. The TagDiv logo is for their brand, not yours.

I found this code here in the forum and worked great for me for style 10 and might work for style 1 with an adjustment. You can also try changing heights. good luck!

The customer simply wants a header like this: https://nrc.nl
So a narrow band with the logo, and below that a narrow band with the menu, separated by black lines.
There should be no space for an ad. Despite the code, the header stays rather high when you opt for header style 1. Is this also because of the height of the menu? Can this be adjusted with code too?
How can we achieve this?

You want the actual favicon of the demo? That is not provided with the theme. Why would you want to use the tagDiv logo as favicon for your website?

I uploaded all the logo’s in the recommended size. But for me the logo is taking way too much space in the header.
I prefer using Style 7, only that the logo is using the same height as the rest of the menu row (or at least around the same amount of height/space). So with this, I also get more space for menu buttons, before they fall of to the next row.
I checked lots of other topics around the same issue, but could not find a suitable fix for me.
So could you please help me out. To make myself more clear, you can check this image:

Any size can be used. The website you mention uses a video on a loop in the header

That will work in the theme ad spots, not as a logo.
The height will depend on the image you use as logo, it will adapt to it. The header could be modified with some CSS if required.
Maybe I misunderstood what you were asking. The logo will be the h1 when there is no other h1 in the page

I’d like the header to be narrow, only a little higher than the logo. I like header style 1 (to try to mimick the header as seen on https://nrc.nl), but without the add space. And how can I align the logo with the menu -the logo is somewhat offset now.

I don’t want to use a banner add on my navbar and just want my logo and menu items on the same navbar, when I disable the banner add however, there is a blank white space above the navbar where the banner was meant to be. Is there anyway I can remove this without a need for CSS to override it so that the space does not appear at all before it’s overwritten?

You can set a logo for desktop and one for mobile if you want to.
What exactly does this revote mean? I don’t quite understand what this is about. Maybe you can provide some more details for a better understanding, and some screenshots maybe. Or a link to the website.

I put your code to Custom CSS but the space between logo and below menu I still can not decrease.
I’ve tried to for an hour what I would think should be easy…
1. I want to make the background area of the header section pure black.
2. I want a full size header graphic which is 150 x 800 to show up but I just get a small logo size.
I wanted to attach a photo but don’t see how to do it here.
