I am not sure I understand the point of your “Note that is the maximum size for ads in our theme” comment. This is exactly what I want in terms of size, so again, I do not understand why you say this. It is not like I want or seek a larger size. Regardless, we are clear on this one.
That 2nd link you have sent shows you calling an IMAGE of the ad size, not the ad itself. What code / short code do I have to put in place of you calling the image of the ad size, in order to show an actual ad?
Nobody is saying I will use 2 ads in the header. Why do you assume that? I would much rather display a 970×250 or 970×90 ad than a smaller one right of the logo – it pays better! You should be concerned with providing EVERY meaningful ability for your theme’s users to EARN MONEY, especially given the fact we pay you money for your theme. Right? Your theme is not just a browsing tool, but for many of us, it is a monetizing tool, which helps us earn our living!
Another point I have been trying to make with tagDiv for a very long time – why do you restrict the size of the logo your users can have. This is obvious by you allowing only 728×90 ads right of the logo. What if the logo is wider and only a 468×60 ad would work, or a smaller one?
You are doing a good job, but a few things, like this header ad problem I have been bringing up, are left not well thought through.
Please specify where do I have to add short code (and what that short code is), which will display a 970×250 or 970×90 ad below the MAIN MENU in the header.
Thank you very much, and please try to find the rational thought I have attempted to defend and bring to your attention above – you should NOT restrict logo size in the world of infinite options when it comes to creativity and individuality.

Changes I do in the theme panel have mostly no effect… I changed the logo f.e. but it still showes the original News8Paper logo. I did everything right and also saved. I have everything done in the system status.. Please help me out!

You can see there, in logo, after I update the theme in the background of logo appear a word : “Inipasti.com” : http://prntscr.com/gn4bg9 which should not appear because of this css code : http://prntscr.com/gn4d9x
What should I do to resolve this problem ?

Sorry about that. It seems we missed the child theme logo. We will fix it in the next theme update. It will not influence the proper functionality of the child theme though.

I want to have a similar decorative line under and above the Style 6 menu, that you can have under and above the style 1 on the News Magazine theme. I also would like to have a Main Menu Dropdown Icon (three stripes) instead of “ALL>” button. And in addition I´d like to add my social icons next to the menu button, without any frame or background, just a logo with theme colors. Is there any free plugin for this, or do I need to tweak the code? If I need the code option, then what and where to change?

Yes, TagDiv forgot updated logo into the child theme ver. 8.1.

I found the child theme in the code folder, zipped it up and then uploaded it to the site via the Themes page. However, the logo it is using says it’s for ‘Newspaper 7’. Is this just a technical issue where TagDiv forgot to map an updated logo into the child theme: meaning, is it safe to ignore?

Please, I would like to remove this complete section from Specific posts on my site.
Complete header (logo, menu, search) as well as the post url path (home-category-post title)
So after removing this, post starts with the title.
Also worth noting, when ‘cleaning’ your site, you need to *check* all editable fields in your theme setup; this means logo, favicon, widgets, footer, custom code blocks for javascript, ad boxes, etc. — anything managed by java, or related to java, should be checked!

You don’t need a plugin for SSL.
You need
a) SSL/TLS certificate on your web host
b) you need to have your host panel setting for domain setup to 301 redirect all https queries to https
c) you need to search/replace your post meta in phpmyadmin for instances of http/yoursite and replace with https/yoursite
d) you need to make sure any items in theme panel like logo are https links
e) you need to add explicit https URL to your wp-config.php file (see wordpress codex on how to edit wp-config); and add the https admin required line.
f) ideally you should have an htaccess entry to redirect all http queries to https, if your hosting panel doesn’t yet have that option
That is *correct* way to move your site to https — plenty of tutorials online.

Unfortunately, please keep in mind that we do not recommend to increase or decrease the logo size, sorry! Notice that our theme has a big list of header styles which use the logo in full width, like header style 9, 10.

Hi. I am using footer style 5. I was wondering if there was a way to hide the upper part of the footer with the three rows but retain the lower part (with logo, about and social icons) in smaller devices using css. I cannot seem to find its class using the Chrome inspect element.

Although I do understand there are certain constraints for the logo size. As the title suggest, is it possible for me to increase the size of the logo, meanwhile maintaining the logo quality and the main menu etc. ?
It would be good if I could also control the size of the logo on the different displays (Desktop / Tablet / Mobile).

If you want to remove that sections, About Me and Contact, you should remove them from Menus in General Settings. Also, if you want to make some changes to the Text Logo and TAGLINE, you should try using such a custom CSS code for this. You can provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response/code.
