I was looking to add a gradient (one just like below the Category Main menu NEWS-Infra) just also above it which falls under the logo and 728 ad slot next to logo
Now this looks cramped so wanted to add a separator or something like that or even padding to differentiate it from the menu
Hi, I would like to change the font, the size and color of my text logo from default css to custom css. The problem is that I don’t know how to edit style.css in wordpress editor since there is no editor button under appearance tag? Why is there no Appearance->Editor? How can I find the editor and make the changes I want regarding my text logo?
Hello trplang,
Thank you for your appreciation!
If you want to have a different logo on specific categories, you can set it from Theme panel for each category the background image with your logo, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/Oq1B5O85 or you can add for each category in the description filed an image, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/WIUzrhQe -> http://screencast.com/t/SlZrxV8wd
Hope this helps!
If is not what you mean, please notice these are the only ways to achieve as you wish in our theme without custom services. If you want to display more levels and you are not aware the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to implement this functionality in our theme for you because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello,
You can use the same method for IE as you did on firefox:
.ie11 .td-header-sp-logo img{
width: 100% !important;
}
Thank you
Hello,
Congrats on your theme, it is amazing 🙂
Is there a way to display a different logo on specific categories (and posts belonging to these specific categories) ?
Thanks a lot for your help,
Thomas
I’ve made a banner for my site running the Newspaper theme, I have the right theme type selected which should use the built in css to scale my header down for maximum quality http://thereadoptional.com . As you can see it runs perfectly on Safari,Chrome,Opera and others without me touching any code.
The problem is that Firefox and IE do not scale my header and runs its native size, why is this? What do I need to add to stop this from happening which is delaying the release of the site. I’ve added this code which seems to have fixed the problem on Firefox
.td-md-is-firefox .td-header-sp-logo img {
width: 100% !important;
}
But I do not know how to fix the issue on Internet Explorer
Any help would be greatly appreciated
What I’d like to do is be able to resize the header logo to cover the entire width of the main menu, but keep the header ad where it is, floating on top of the logo image. I’ve included an example of what I want it to look like, and a link to the current iteration of my website that is laid out similarly.
Any help is appreciated, and I have to say that I really love the theme so far!
Hello Bogdan B. !
Soyry anyone who its gone read and cant read this because its in a diferent language !!

Hello! There are three minor tweaks I would like to make to the header when viewed on mobile devices:
1) How can I change the menu icon (9 small squares) to the more standard 3 line icon? Is there an image file I need to update? Or is this done through code?
![]()
2) How can I increase the overall height of the header? My logo looks too small.
3) How do I change the header background colour? Sorry if it’s in the theme panel, but I cannot find it.
Thank you!
Hello Jan,
I have checked your website and I saw some differences between our product page and your product page. If you want to have a standard product page, as we have on our demo preview -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_tech/product/woo-logo-3/ please try to use woo commerce plugin and set it properly. I notice you have some unknown classes which might come from another plugin…and your issue might be caused by this plugin behaviour -> http://screencast.com/t/rVUMLtC0vqH
For more information about this plugin, you should check their documentation, like this -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/ and also this tutorial should be more useful for you -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_mt-c_l36U
Hope this helps!
Thank you for the message!
Sorry, but it seems you’ve only checked this on Internet Explorer.
Here is how the web page looks on three different browsers side-by-side (browsers are marked with logos):
http://www.screencast.com/t/IJR0WjS1
Note that the title od the ad box is only visible in IE, whereas it disappears on Chrome and Firefox.
I have checked this on three different machines.
Please confirm if I’m right about this, and if I’m wrong, please provide the same comparison of at least three of the most popular browsers (e.g. http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp).
Thanks
Dominik
Hello,
It seems the logo shifts on this header style. I will add this issue to our bug list and we will hopefully fix it in a future version. You can try to use another header style until then if you wish.
You can reduce the gap between the menu and the content using this custom css:
.home .td-main-page-wrap{
padding-top: 10px!important;
}
Thank you!
i have recreated the header menu(main menu) the problem remains the same.
if i reduced the number of menu(i.e 5 or less) then it works fine but if i increase the number of menu then site logo shifts upward automatically.
i am using header style7
Hello,
In order to have the mobile logo inside of the menu bar you will have to use another header style that has this option. The header style you use displays the logo on the top of the menu. Different header styles use different types of desktop and mobile settings.
Thank you!
Hi, how do I fit my logo on mobile mode? It only works when the header becomes sticky menu.
I’m using Header Style 10.
Normal mode, and sticky mode:

Tried this code but didn’t work:
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-retina-data {
width:140px;
height:48px;
}
.td-main-menu-logo img {
max-width: 140px;
max-height:48px;
}
}
there is one problem when we scroll down the page and then scroll up then site logo and header not looks good
and there is a unnecessary gap between header and main body after scroll down
here is the url
http://betterdiamondinitiative.org
i updated the theme in the same manner as it is described in the guide. everything is working ok but the navigation menu is not looking the same and site logo is also misplaces
here is the snapshot

Hello,
I have checked this issue and it seems firefox is not interpreting the logo right. Please use this custom css to force responsiveness for firefox:
.td-md-is-firefox .td-header-sp-logo img{
width:100%!important;
}
Thank you!
Hi
Please check our documentation regarding the logo https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-logo-favicon/ If you still can’t manage to solve this issue provide more details about it, also a screen pointing the issue will help or you can provide your site url so I can inspect this closer.
Thanks!
Hello I have a problem to put a header logo style 5, even in scale (height: 44px logo retina height: 88px) logo NEWSMAG the base does not move?
For logo footer no problem and logo favicon no problem.
thanks.
Wait, there is a problem with the logo on mobile? I didn’t notice. any idea why?
I tried disabling some plugins… ads still align right instead of center. Odd. Could be all the css ive been adding based on your recommendations over last few days perhaps?
Hello,
The theme does not change anything by itself. Please specify what you did before this happened. Did you maybe install a plugin that is conflicting with the theme, or made a few custom modifications to the code, or maybe you forgot to logout and somebody pulled a prank or maybe you got hacked… The possibilities are huge. Please check your fonts settings in the theme panel and see if fonts are set or are they rewritten by a plugin. This should be the first clue to what the problem is. IF all fonts in the panel are set to default, this means that the css from the theme gets rewritten and you need to identify where it comes from.(you can try to disable all plugins except visual composer and check again.)
I checked your website and except for a the font, everything seems to be fine.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello gunner05,
I’ve checked your website and I saw the problem with your logo on the mobile version. Please ensure that you have installed only the plugins that come bundled with our theme without others because this issue it might be caused by conflicting plugins. I suggest trying to use a normal ad, without AdSense and see if your problem is still there…it is possible that the problem come from Google Adsense. I have tested on my side and every ads seems to work as expected.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes after these afterward.
Thank you for the message!
Font changed by itself / logo disappeared / footer changed / ads disappeared
This happened all of a sudden on my website vadoavivereinaustralia.com, can someone help me pls?
Thanks
Hello,
You can use this custom css to adjust the size of the logo:
.td-logo img {
max-width: 55%;
padding-top: 46px;
}
result: http://screencast.com/t/iLE6Gouo2g
Thank you!
