Good morning, I’ve worked on this template until yesterday evening, but suddenly the website go down. In the Cpanel Phisycal memory Usage and I/O Usage go to 100%. Today I’ve contacted the provider and deactivated all plugins.

When I try to active Newspaper’s plugins, browser show me this message:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 87 bytes) in public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_util.php on line 2105

I’ve setted this parameters in wp-config.php like suggested the recomendations:

define('WP_DEBUG', false);

define('WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

Someone can help me?

Thanks

Hi Calin,

seems like nearly all of the requirements are fulfilled – I don’t know where I can get the information about my php.ini memory limit, so this is the only where I dont know if the requirement is fulfilled.

Cache plugin and page speed optimization don’t have anything to do with that, right?

Hi,

I am getting “Error establishing a database connection” after changing y theme to Newspaper X.

The requirements for Newspaper theme is updated correctly.
For example, the memory limit, var, and all other requirements in that requirement page is all changed.

Server hosted is on Dedicated server with sufficient space, ram and everything as only 1 site hosted.

Kindly suggest solution as the hosting provider responded to contact the developer as they do not have any issue with their server. It is the theme which is causing this problem.

While checking with the issue, found that there are hundreds of similar issues posted by others too. Means your theme has some problem which needs to be fixed, otherwise how so many people getting so many errors.

It is neither opening to write a new post window not opening the edit post window.

Hi Calin,

I made an amendment to my .htaccess file by inserting the command “Rlimitmem max” on the first line. This got Cloud Templates working.

Until now I had increased the memory limit in php.ini only – which is what your requirements stipulated but that does not work.

After setting Rlimitmem in .htaccess, I then removed the memory_limit setting from php.ini and Cloud Templates continue to work without a problem.

Can you please cancel the request sent via email?

Thanks
Terry

More errors… This is a WordPress report. (Translated via Google).

Subject: [ICT Impact] Your site is experiencing a technical problem

Hello!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site and alerts you via this automated email.

In this case, WordPress encountered an error with one of your plugins, tagDiv Composer.

First, visit your website (https://impactotic.co/) and check if there are any visible problems. Next, visit the page where the error was detected (https://impactotic.co/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=plugin-information&plugin=user-submitted-posts&) and check for any visible problems .

Please contact your web hosting provider for help with in-depth investigation of this problem.

If your site seems broken and you can’t access your desktop normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This allows you to safely access your desktop and investigate further.

https://impactotic.co/wp-login.php?action=enter_recovery_mode&rm_token=mFeJY3MfXwDPrH6Fbrv4S0&rm_key=6W5S0nDDBLfKrboJQhWbT3

To keep your site secure, this link will expire in 1 day. However, don’t worry about this: you will receive a new link via email if the error occurs again after it expires.

When seeking help for this issue, you may be asked for the following information:
WordPress version 5.4.1
Current topic: Newspaper (version 10.3.3)
Current plugin: tagDiv Composer (version 2.6 | built on 06.05.2020 14:38)
PHP version 7.4.6

Hi,

Can you tell me whether there are any known issues running Newspaper X on EasyWP WordPress servers operated by Namecheap?

I have cloned a live site from there to my own server to change over to Newspaper X but a number of problems are arising.

1) When I try to use TDComposer to edit the homepage I got a 500 Internal Server error. The server log entry was:
Fri May 15 09:20:08 2020] [error] [client 86.168.47.31:0]
[Fri May 15 09:20:08 2020] [error] [client 86.168.47.31:0] mmap() failed: [12] Cannot allocate memory
[Fri May 15 09:20:08 2020] [error] [client 86.168.47.31:0] End of script output before headers: post.php

I spoke with the server company and they advised to increase server memory in php.ini and wp_config to 512m which I did but this did not resolve the issue.

2) Other errors are:
[Fri May 15 09:30:40 2020] [error] [client 86.168.47.31:0] PHP Warning: Use of undefined constant TDC_PATH_LEGACY – assumed ‘TDC_PATH_LEGACY’ (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/sites/terryally.com/public_html/newsroom/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/td-composer.php on line 109

3) When I try to enable thumb on module/blocks for the template. These were not saving. I installed Regenerate Thumbnail but this was not “seeing” the sizes.

I deleted the entire site and started from scratch with a clean install of WP then installed Newspaper X. Rather than importing the entire site including plugins, I just imported the pages/posts and media. That works.

But that is a workaround. My concern is when I try to go live with Newspaper X on EAsyWP that it might malfunction. The reason that I raise this is because they have a must-use plugin which is proprietary and it blocks plugins like WP-super-cache which is recommended by TagDiv.

My server specs are:
WordPress 5.4.1
Apache/2.4.41 (Unix)
php.ini memory limit: 512MB
PHP version 7.3.15 (EasyWP runs and requires 7.3)
MySQL version 5.0.12

You can see full specs at http://www.terryally.com/info.php.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL non theme plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Hi,

1. You can choose any demo you like, all of them are using tagDiv Composer and cloud templates.
For SEO you should use a plugin as Yoast SEO plugin.
The amp plugin can be use with all demos, we recommend to use it with the mobile theme plugin.
The page speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-optimization-2/

2. Usually we suggest to use a demo, or you can chose from tagDiv Cloud Library the elements you like -> https://tagdiv.com/what-is-the-cloud-library/

3. Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Hello.

all requirements are met by my hosting (Kinsta).

I had updated using method A), now I’ve tried again using FTP with the same result: the theme panel and cloud templates are not accessible and the memory spikes from 20% to 90% when td-cloud-templates plugin is active, even with all other plugins disabled!

Given the circumstances, I suppose the problem is with the plugin itself.

There’s definitely something wrong with the plugin.

Hello,

I need help with http://www.animal-law.it website. I started having CPU peaks and memory issues on Friday, after the update to the latest version: https://imgur.com/mOX8Ia2

Memory is 256M and I have reduced the plugins. Since yesterday I get a “critical error” message from wordpress while attempting to access cloud templates and theme panel.
https://imgur.com/FfK3MUW
https://imgur.com/2DITQdo

I installed Query Monitor and it seems that the problem lies within the Cloud Library Plugin: https://imgur.com/yhCctfP

I also asked my hosting support team and they point out that the PHP error might be here: https://imgur.com/lpSeGmF

The website is completely customised with templates, so I have disabled the standard pack.
I also disabled a lot of plugins, but it didn’t help.

Hi, even with the latest 10.3.3 versions and below with WPBakery 6.1/6.2, editing PAGES with the TD COMPOSER produces various type of errors. We have only TagDiv plugins activates with WPBakery. Nothing else.
Following the system info details:

Theme version/DB version: 10.3.3
Server software: LiteSpeed (no cache plugin enabled)
PHP Version: 7.2 (we experienced the same problem with 7.4.4)
post_max_size: 256M
max_execution_time: 90
max_input_vars: 1000
SUHOSIN installed: false
mbstring: available
GD library: available
WP version: 5.4
WP multisite enabled: No
WP Memory Limit: 40MB/request
WP_DEBUG: False
Caching plugin: No caching
allow_url_fopen = On

The same configuration works if we disable PAGES from WPBakery Post Types.

ON ENTER PAGE USING TD COMPOSER (console errors):

Thank you for response, I have configured the WP Super Cache settings as per your indications. I will monitor the situation to see if it arises again.

Between I saw WP_MEMORY_LIMIT requirements as at least 128MB (your recommended settings). Mine is currently 40MB, what is the consequences if I leave it as such?

Thanks again for your feedback.
