Hello Annamaria,
Thanks for the very fast answer.
I tried with both PHP version 8.0 and 8.1 the very same error persists.
Meanwhile I also tried with other prebuild websites, for example with “DEFAULT PRO”, the very same error occurs. , so this is a more general issue. I also carefully read the other thread you linked https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/error-at-zones-6models-1dom-the-model-does-not-match-the-content-currene/, but unfortunately there are no steps to follow there and also there is no solution described there 🙁
I am using official WordPress docker images, so any developer on your side can spin up exactly that image and reproduce the error:
– wordpress:6.7.1-php8.3-apache
or as you recommended:
– wordpress:6.7.1-php8.1-apache
– wordpress:php8.0-apache
For detailed diagnostics, all my experiences are on freshly installed images, with no other themes and plugins.

Hello,
Please check the WordPress wp-memory limit and set it to 256M. If it’s still not working, please double the limit and review the other settings in our guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/. Also, ensure that you are using SSL and have sufficient bandwidth. Our server provides a bandwidth of 1GB/s, while my home connection is 500MB/s. If your bandwidth is low, you may only be able to access certain parts of the cloud. This can be done from the frontend, for example, when viewing a post: https://i.imgur.com/4G74M7F.jpg, from tagDiv Composer: https://i.imgur.com/2F6MhfI.png, or through the backend: https://www.screencast.com/t/wekHmc7kJ8J.
Thank you!
Hello,
You have a header template from Cloud Library, then you need to edit with tagDiv Composer https://www.screencast.com/t/Y5j6ArY8Ug, select the logo and set there the image, make sure that is set to show and delete the logo text or SVG code-> https://imgur.com/ve11Fwt -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
To change your WordPress site language, go to Settings → General and look for the Site Language drop-down -> https://i.imgur.com/xLqlkVi.png and will apply to the date and weather.
Did you set the memory in wp-config like in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/?
Thank you!
I went to wordpres > tools > site health > server > memory limit and it says 6144M. But on Newspaper > Sytem status it says that my memory limit is just 40M. Is the theme perhaps not reading or recognizing the xorrect limit?
I know this topic has been brought up in another thread but there is no resolution and the discussion seems to have stopped, so I am writing here.
After moving to a new hosting provider, I noticed that everything done around the opt-in builder, subscriptions, payment plans, account and payment pages have all been reset. I noticed that the subscriptions are also deleted. The subscription wizard didn’t work initially, but I managed to get it working after deactivating and then reactivating it.
At the moment I have no choice but to replicate the whole scenario and start afresh to the best of my memory. The other pages and designs are okay, not affected, just those parts which I mentioned above are affected.
Please do something about this in future updates as soon as possible because it is painful to start over with these things and I did not know to experience this. Sometimes we have to migrate to another hosting provider because they become expensive.
In the meantime, is there a way to get back my subscriptions. I don’t have many, but it is necessary for the record and maintaining consistency. Thanks
Hi,
Please set the wp-memory in wp-config.php -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thank you!
Thank you!
Just one question when checking my PHP I saw my host memory limit is set at 40MB but you recommend 250MB! Please can you advise what/if any problems this may cause?
I have been using v12.3 Compromise because all other latest versions crashed the website I am managing a VPN of 16GB RAM 4Core CPU. Every time I update to the latest version, within a second MySQL memory usage surges to 100% of the CPU usage. Virtually making the website not accessible
The only version that works well is v12.3 with our over 250k posts, other versions crash the site.
New the v12.3 download from (https://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Newspaper-12-3.zip) all needed plugins downloaded from the cloud, seem to have been compromised.
Problem: I woke up the morning to figure out that a javascript in been injected into the page causing a pop and redirecting to another site.
I have tried to update to a recent version but the website could barely load.
I have deactivated all plugins and themes, uploaded new theme files, and allowed the CDN to download of new plugins from the CDN. When I tested the homepage, the Pop problem came back.
How do we fix this,
If you want to check, I could give you login access
Hello Tagdiv Team,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out to share some detailed feedback on the PCForge template in your Newspaper Theme. I think you’ve created something truly unique with PCForge, and I really appreciate your initiative in developing a WordPress-compatible PC builder tool—a feature no other theme provider has dared to approach. It has immense potential, and I’m very interested in using it for a project I’m working on.
The overall design is visually striking and the builder concept is incredibly useful, but I’ve encountered some structural and functionality issues that I believe could be improved. These adjustments would make PCForge even more valuable and practical, particularly for projects involving comprehensive component databases.
Structural Setup with Taxonomies vs. Custom Post Types (CPTs)
1. Current Approach Using Taxonomies:
- Currently, in PCForge, the PC components—such as Cases, Cooling, CPUs, Graphics, Memory, Motherboards, PSUs, and Storage—are organized as terms within taxonomies, rather than as Custom Post Types (CPTs). For example, in the CPUs taxonomy, we see terms like “AMD” acting as a parent term, with specific CPUs like Ryzen 5 5600X, Ryzen 7 5800X, and Ryzen 9 5900X listed as child terms.
- Each CPU term includes custom fields (e.g., Socket, Cores) using ACF fields of the “Text” type.
PCForge CPU Details (Field Group)
OC Forge Taxonomies
This structure raises several questions:
- Brand Representation: AMD, Intel, and other brands are currently set as parent terms within component taxonomies. However, brands are not strictly categories—they represent manufacturers. Designating AMD or Intel as parent terms within CPUs, rather than as brands, can be misleading and complicate organizational clarity. Typically, users expect brands to be a separate taxonomy or field to indicate manufacturers, not as hierarchical parents in a component category.
- Limited Scalability and Flexibility: The taxonomy structure for component categories appears limiting, especially when considering the need for specifications and compatibility filters. A CPT-based structure for each product category (such as CPUs, Motherboards, GPUs, etc.) would make data more manageable, with component-specific taxonomies and custom fields unique to each CPT. This change could enable better filtering and compatibility management, as each component could then be indexed, related, and filtered in more practical ways.

2. Alternative Structure Using Custom Post Types (CPTs):
- Adopting CPTs for each product category would allow for a more intuitive structure and better scalability. By creating CPTs for categories like Cases, Cooling, CPUs, Graphics, etc., each could have dedicated taxonomies and custom fields, making it possible to implement unique filters and specifications relevant to each product type.
- With this setup, brands like AMD and Intel could be a separate taxonomy or a custom field within each CPT, offering greater flexibility in managing manufacturers. This structure could also simplify compatibility management, allowing for rules and filters that would prevent users from selecting incompatible components.
Compatibility and Builder Functionality
- 3. Compatibility Issue:
- At the moment, the PC builder isn’t working correctly when it comes to enforcing component compatibility. For instance, in the builder, I first selected the CPU field and chose “AMD.” This opened another field where I selected the specific CPU model, “Ryzen 5 5600X.” I then moved to the Motherboard field, where I selected “Asus,” which opened a field to choose the specific Asus motherboard. From there, I chose “Asus ROG Strix Z590-E Gaming WiFi.” These components are clearly incompatible, as the Z590 chipset only supports Intel CPUs, but the builder currently allows this incompatible pairing, which can mislead users and compromise the builder’s usability.
- Structuring component compatibility filters is crucial for a builder feature to deliver real value. Right now, without compatibility filters, there’s a risk of user error, which diminishes the reliability of the builder.
4. Challenges with Drop-Down Menus and Scalability:
- The drop-down menus in the current builder structure are manageable with a small selection of components (e.g., a few CPUs, motherboards, GPUs). However, in a real-world scenario where a comprehensive PC builder might handle thousands of components, these menus would become unwieldy. PCForge Builder
- A CPT-based structure, combined with compatibility filters, could better support a large-scale component database, and allow for more effective navigation, filtering, and component selection.
5. Seeking Clarification on Design Choices:
I acknowledge that I may be misunderstanding certain aspects of the builder’s structure, and I could be overlooking reasons for these specific design decisions. I would appreciate it if you could clarify the thinking behind this setup, particularly around the choice to organize components as terms in taxonomies instead of using Custom Post Types. Understanding the rationale behind this approach would be really helpful, as I’m keen to make the best use of the PCForge template for my project.
Offering Assistance
I genuinely love the PCForge concept, and I’d like to offer any support that could help improve it. I run a PC hardware store, so I’d be more than happy to provide compatible component data or any other details your team might need to refine the compatibility functionality or the component structure. I’m sure Tagdiv has the expertise to tackle compatibility logic, and I would be excited to see PCForge become a go-to WordPress solution for PC building.
Market Potential and Future Opportunities
I believe PCForge has the potential to be an industry leader if optimized to handle compatibility and larger datasets. Many users across forums frequently ask how to implement a WordPress-based PC builder similar to PCPartPicker, and no one has offered a concrete solution. Instead, recommendations typically include using CPTs. I know a good number of people purchase the Newspaper theme specifically for PCForge, and with further refinement, it could become the standard solution in WordPress for this need.
Thank you for considering this feedback, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if I can assist with any data or further insights. I look forward to seeing how PCForge evolves and to potentially using it as a core part of my project.
Best regards,
I tried it in new page,still its giving same Invalid response from server endpoint.It loads everywhere else just not the page templates.
It loads headers,footers,tags,archive,404,category,author etc without issue.The only problem is when i want to load cloud library in page section.
I also increased the memory limit to 256 and for once i even changed it to 512M but still the same invalid response for page.
Please tell me why is this happening?And how to fix this.
Hi essjay,
The “Invalid reply from server endpoint” error is typically caused by an insufficient WP_MEMORY_LIMIT. We recommend setting this value to 256M. If the issue persists, try increasing it to 512M and verify the other settings outlined in our guide: Newspaper Theme Requirements.
Additionally, please ensure that SSL is properly configured and that your server has adequate bandwidth to handle the requests.
Also, make sure that you do not have any plugin interfering (make a test using only tagDiv plugins).
Thank you!
Hi there,
I’m getting this error when I try and save a design using the tagdiv composer. I have php set to 512 memory limit. It’s on a Vultr VPS so resources are not an issue.
See image for the error
Any pointers?
Thanks.
I don’t work here, but looooong time user … did you look at the docs?
https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/
Elemenmtor is not included nor advertised as included. That is a third party page builder you have to install on your own and can be installed from the WordPress org repo for free plugins. TagDiv includes their own TD Composer page builder, with support for WP Bakery builder (which I don’t use) if memory serves.
Hope that helps 🙂

Today, I purchased the Newspaper theme, but I’m encountering issues related to the required settings for “max_input_vars,” “max_execution_time,” and “WP Memory Limit.” Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with how to make these adjustments myself.
I reached out to DreamHost, and they recommended purchasing a service package for €30 to make these changes. Could you please confirm if a “max_input_vars” setting of 3000 would be sufficient for the Newspaper theme? Also, is there an easy way to make all of these adjustments myself?
Thank you for your help and guidance!
Hi,
Please advise me on the following question…
On the site gif2you.com advertising is loading slowly. This is confirmed by Adsense statistics.
On the Adsense forum, there is an explanation from an expert: “Then the problem is in your site or hosters, for example, loading third-party scripts is blocked when rendering your layout and scripts.”
On the other two sites, ads load faster:
sunshinepic.com
en.sunshinepic.com
I moved a site with slow loading ads to the same hosting where two other sites are located. The problem has not been solved.
At the moment, the sites have everything set up identically:
– Hosting
– Geolocation – Dallas
– NewsPaper 12.6.8
– WordPress 6.6.2
– PHP Version 7.4.33
– WP Memory Limit 256 MB
– PHP Execution Time 240
– PHP Max Input Vars 10000
– The same set of plugins
– The same CloudLinux hosting support system
The difference is that the site gif2you.com is 6 years old, and the other two sites are young, both of them are no more than a year old.
Is it possible that using NewsPaper on gif2you.com 6 years old, after numerous updates, there are settings left that conflict with Adsense.
Please help me understand the issue.
Thank you.
Hello,
I am encountering an issue when trying to access the REST API endpoint /wp-json/td-composer/save_post. The route returns a 404 error (“No route was found that matches the URL and request method”). However, I am able to access the namespace /wp-json/td-composer/, which suggests the namespace is registered, but the specific endpoint is not.
Here’s what I’ve already tried to resolve the issue:
1. Code Review
I checked the tdc_ajax.php file where the /save_post/ route is registered with the following code:
php
register_rest_route($namespace, '/save_post/', array(
'methods' => 'POST',
'callback' => array('tdc_ajax', 'on_ajax_save_post'),
'permission_callback' => '__return_true',
));
I tested replacing the callback with an anonymous function that returns a simple response, but the 404 error persists:
php
register_rest_route($namespace, '/save_post/', array(
'methods' => 'POST',
'callback' => function() {
return new WP_REST_Response('Route is working', 200);
},
'permission_callback' => '__return_true',
));
2. Server Permissions
I adjusted the server permissions to ensure:
Directories are set to 755.
Files are set to 644.
The wp-config.php file is secured with 600 permissions.
Ownership of files and directories is set correctly for the web server user (apache).
3. Permalink Rewriting
I resaved the permalink settings in Settings > Permalinks in WordPress, but it didn’t resolve the issue.
4. Cache and ModSecurity
Cleared all caching services (Cloudflare and any caching plugins).
Temporarily disabled ModSecurity to ensure it wasn’t blocking the REST requests.
5. PHP Extensions and Configuration
Verified that the necessary PHP extensions are active, including:
json
curl
mbstring
openssl
The PHP version is 7.4, which meets the requirements.
Increased the PHP limits in the php.ini configuration:
memory_limit = 256M
max_execution_time = 300
post_max_size = 64M
6. Plugin and Theme Conflicts
Tested with all other plugins disabled, leaving only the one registering the REST route.
Switched to the default Twenty Twenty-One theme to ensure there was no theme conflict, but the 404 error persists.
7. Error Logs
Checked the PHP and server (Apache) error logs but found no relevant messages related to the failure in registering the REST route.
8. Namespace Adjustments
The namespace is currently set to ‘td-composer’. I also tried adding a version (‘td-composer/v1’), but the issue remains the same.
9. Debugging Attempts
I added debug statements to ensure that the rest_api_init hook is being called. The debug message appears, confirming that the code is executing, but the /save_post/ endpoint is still not accessible.
After trying all these solutions, I am reaching out for assistance. Is there any specific issue with the Newspaper theme or the td-composer plugin that could be causing this failure to register the route?
Thank you in advance for your help. I look forward to your guidance.
If I disable the custom plugin, and therefore the widget, and call get_footer() I get these php errors, not sure if this helps you?

Hi,
Usually the “Invalid reply from server endpoint error” is caused by insufficient WP_Memory_limit, if you’ll set it to 256M, and is still not working, please double it and check the rest of the settings from our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ also make sure that you are using SSL and you have a good bandwidth, the one from our server is 1GB/s and the one that I use at home is 500MB/s, if you have low bandwidth, then you can access parts of the cloud, this can be done from the frontend, for example, if you are on a post -> https://i.imgur.com/4G74M7F.jpg or from tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/2F6MhfI.png or from backend -> https://www.screencast.com/t/wekHmc7kJ8J
Thank you!
Hello,Thank you for your answer.
I’m sorry, but there appears to be a specific error with the prebuilt template **”News Free”** when including the default content provided by the theme. We have performed **three different installations** on **three different providers**, each on **completely new and empty servers** without any additional installations. The theme works correctly in all aspects, **except with the “News Free” prebuilt template**.
Additionally, we have tested **most of the prebuilt templates one by one**, and **we haven’t had any issues with any of them except for “News Free”**.
The problem we’re encountering is a **500 Internal Server Error** that **only affects the homepage**. The rest of the site—posts, pages, and other sections—works without any problems. When we try to edit the homepage with **tagDiv Composer**, we receive the following error:
> **Error at zones: 6(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content. Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z).**
We have attempted several troubleshooting steps, including:
– **Activating WordPress debug mode** to identify specific errors.
– **Checking the server error logs**.
– **Verifying the PHP version** and increasing the PHP memory limit.
– **Deactivating all plugins** except those required by the theme.
– **Reinstalling the “News Free” template**.
– **Attempting to disable ModSecurity**, but we encountered difficulties in doing so.
Despite these efforts, the problem persists **only with the “News Free” prebuilt template**. Other prebuilt templates work without issues.
Since we’ve replicated this problem across multiple servers and providers, it seems there might be a **specific error in the “News Free” template when importing the default content**.
Could you please investigate this issue or provide us with additional suggestions?
Thank you for your assistance!
Best regards.
Disregard, I fixed it, thanks for the help. Tweaked memory on my server and got it to work.
Found the problem is with TD Composer, it’s memory usage impacts everything and I have a hard limit of 256MB for WordPress, seeing if I can adjust that temporarily.
When I turned off TD Composer plugin, the whole theme shut down of course.
Likely this means it controls the whole theme, though when I closed it I got a warning message that TD Cloud Library needed an update, and I’ve updated everything to newspaper 12.6.7
Seeing if that’s incorrect, I’m on TD Cloud Library 3.6 updated on 08/28/2024.
Dear Support,
I have been using the Newspaper Theme for multiple websites now and for a time now TagDiv composer barely loads after multiple times or even none for days.
When I click to launch it a grey/black/dark orange background pops up with absolutely nothing on it. When I press F12 it shows this problem code:
post.php:1 Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED
I have looked up and thought and found some possible solutions but none helped. Here is what I have tried:
Pasting this into Htaccess:
<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
</IfModule>
Increasing input vars and memory to advised levels.
Sadly these didn’t work. I asked my server side support and they told me to reach out to you for further help as they don’t see any issues on the server side.
Thank you in advance!

I tried all chromium browsers (Chrome, Vivaldi, Brave, Edge, Opera, Safari), Firefox. But when I tried to
* edit a page with TD Composer,
* add an empty inner column,
* add column text,
* Click ‘Edit Content’ button,
* Type some short codes [postlist id=192498].
* Now I don’t see any save, so assuming just click ‘X’ on top right of the popup to close.
* Now Click on ‘Edit Content’ button, it is shows only blank box (the short code I entered doesn’t appear).
* Vivaldi, Edge shows a javascript error. – https://app.screencast.com/dblky8lh3bngJ
* Firefox no errors, but same behaviour
* Safari – Can’t even drag and drop to inner column
* Chrome – No Errors, but same behaviour.
