We have 3 pages in the Footer Menu and the Footer Menu Mobile (menu name: td_demo_footer menu). The pages are “Käyttöehdot”, “Palaute / artikkelivinkki” and “Tietoja Vastavalkeasta”.

Links to the pages can be seen in our front page – please see the bottom right-hand corner at
https://vastavalkea.fi/

The problem is that when the links are tapped in mobile phones, the linked pages do not open. This has happened in all mobile phones I and othees have tested the page links with.

What could be the problem?

Hi,

If you mean the mega menu feature, that was created for and works only on desktop. The mobile theme has a simple menu with drop down capabilities, and was designed for speed and the best performance on mobilehttps://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ Maybe other users have different implementations or customization and are willing to share them.

Thanks

Hello,

@vortihk
Your problem with the menu originates from the implementation method used on the icons. Please do not use the css implementation. Use the html implementation. That means do not add a css class here: https://www.screencast.com/t/qaV280ypH Use the font awesome html implementation adding the code next to the menu item title.

@rmothie
your problem is not the menu. You do not have a problem at all. It;s the default implementation of the mobile theme. You simply did not add mobile content for the pages. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!

Hello
When I load my site in an android web view on android versions 16-21, there is a color problem, looking like the menu is opened(But It isn’t) and the text is invisible. It happens when a single post is clicked. Its not in the list and HomePage.
I disabled the Mobile theme, But the problem was still there.
Devices were, Lenovo Tablet with API 18 and Experia with api 16.

Hello,

Maybe it’s just my ignorance but I can’t seem to have a user friendly navigation for woocommerce categories within the mobile plugin theme.

For desktop it’s quite easy as I can place categories links in the menu (mega menu) but for mobile, its different.

I wonder if anyone has been able to build a user friendly navigational menu for woo commerce category links.

All help would be appreciated.

Hello all,

I am trying to set up the new mobile theme, and I have a few questions.

Under the Mobile Theme options on Theme Panel, there are the ad boxes for various ads. If I add a responsive adsense ad, can I control the size of it as I can on the normal ad section?

Also, when the mobile theme is enabled, it shows only the ads from the mobile theme ads menu, right? So, if I have a header ad, an ad at the beginning of an article (these ads added on the main theme panel), these won’t show on the mobile theme, right? (the mobile theme that the plugin provides)

Hello again!
Have some problem with mobile menu.
Look at this
And in the end when I want to close the menu, I click on the last category (ИгроТОП), because their icons so close. The number of categories in the menu does not change anything.
Tested on different smartphones.

Hello,
The mobile theme uses a different menu than the desktop theme. Please create your mobile menu as you want it from the mobile theme settings on the bottom of the theme panel
Thank you!

I love the mobile plugin to bits ,I can’t just stop using it tho the theme itself is responsive.

But my problem is that , when the page is loading on mobile ~ the mobile menu background covers the page on load or whiles loading .

The last time I checked with opera browser on android,it completely covers the entire page

What can be done and what’s the cause of this ? My URL >> http://www.ghpage.com

Hi there,

Photos in my last post aren’t displaying on mobile while they are on desktop.
http://www.traveleaters.com/road-trip-dans-le-northland-5-immanquables-voir-faire/

Same goes for my header menu logo which was previously showing.

All previous posts pictures are displaying correctly, this only concerns my last post and header menu logo.

Thank you,

Hi I have some questions

1- Please see this screenshot http://gulf-up.com/do.php?img=267223
When I hover over a post title or sub-category title in the mega menu the title becomes white with the white background. I want to insert another color for the hover in mega menu

2- Please see this screenshot http://gulf-up.com/do.php?img=267222
As you see some sub-categories are hidden under this icon. Can I show all the sub-categories tags/buttons without being hidden under this icon (for all sizes: Desktop and Mobile and others)

3- I asked you this question before but just in case you didn’t understand me, I will rewrite it.
I have a background image in the (footer) but it does not fit nicely in the mobile so I want to remove it from mobile if it’s possible.

Hi,

From what I can tell you have only a background color set on the header menu on mobile devices – https://www.screencast.com/t/7RrtteGgZ7Q8 so if you want to have that background image on mobile you must set it there – https://www.screencast.com/t/7kuCIvrz Unfortunately there is a delay between the application of the custom style changes, you could try to enter these customizations directly in the theme’s css file to reduce or even remove it.

Thanks

Just to clear one thing, i’m not talking about the background on the open menu mobile. I’m talking about the header, with closed menu, with logo.

You could use this css code, it should make the top menu display in mobile state, just enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css

@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-header-style-12 .td-header-top-menu-full {
display: block!important;
}
.td-header-style-12 .td-header-sp-top-menu {
display: block!important;
}}

Hi,

The Newspaper font doesn’t exist on Newsmag theme, so you will need to use a font awesome plugin for this.
Font Awesome 4 Menus is a tested plugin and it should work if it is active and you use this custom css – https://www.screencast.com/t/M7UnNLAsVXKK

.td-icon-mobile:before {
content: "\f0c9"!important;
font-family: FontAwesome !important;
}

Thanks!

@IE Mag
I am using it without the plugin, it seems to work fine – especially the off-screen menus and search. the main difference for me is the slider – if i use mobile theme plugin – it will show maybe 3 featured posts, without that I can still show slider working when people open the site on mobile (i think it is better).

Another thought to add: when the caching starts to work, the display could be different – as this gets controlled by cache and browser (with option to request original – seen on android). so you might be better with activating mobile theme.

P.S. in case you have some improvement/suggestions for http://www.oilwire.net, I will be in debt. this is my first wordpress site.

Hi,
and first of all thanx for the fantastic Newspaper theme. Great theme, great options, great documentation.

I´m looking for a possibility to let the megemenu appear on mouseclick and not on mouseover (similar to the solution on mobile devices)
Is there a way how to solve this?

Best
Michael

Hello newbietamvan,

The code from mobile menu icon cand be found here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6hT4nJTqS So, if you want to change it you should edit the theme core files and add another icon code which has to be loaded in Theme. Also, you can try using a plugin with this functionality and check the results.

Thanks for the message!

Hello Ylli,

If you want to display the top menu bar in the mobile version, you should use a bit of CSS code to do that. Try the code below and pale it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu {
display: block;
}
}

The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/R9O2xu3I4iL3

Thanks for your understanding!
