Hello @aevtimov !

Actually, we have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to disable the Mobile Theme plugin.

You can choose the mobile version and the menu you want to use. By default, we use option 1 for mobile, and you can customize it from the tagdiv Composer.

Thank you!

Hello Bettina,
Thank you for your response.

I have already created a mobile versio in wordpress with TagDiv. But the mobile version showing in the Bluehost customizer is some old, other, version.

I contacted Bluehost and they can’t get the mobile version that is showing in Bluehost to synch with the mobile version I created in TagDiv. This creates problems because sometimes some pages take the old, incorrect version from Bluehost.

I need to synch the two, so that the mobile version in Bluehost isn’t different from the correct one I have created in TagDiv. Bluehost told me it is a problem with the theme developer.

Do you know why Bluehost isn’t showing the correct mobile version?

Can I email you screenshots to better describe the issue?

Hello,

Usually, this happens with cache plugins. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support then the mobile theme version can be delivered instead.
The solution would be to use the recommended WP Super Cache plugin instead and activate these settings (especially the mobile device support): https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

I hope this helps.

Thank you!

Hello,
1. You can remove it using the option from the theme panel – https://i.imgur.com/6yGk3gt.png
2. The mobile menu can be change from left to right only using custom css.
You can try this custom code:
#td-top-mobile-toggle {
float: right;
margin-right: 10px;
}
.td-search-wrapper {
float: left;
position: unset;
margin-top: -13px;
}

Set the css in the theme panel > custom code > advance css > phones (this code will be apply only on responsive version).
3. You can use a different menu for mobile only if you are using the mobile theme plugin – https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-get-mobile-ready-with-newsmag-theme/
Thank you!

Hello,
The mobile version of my website in the Bluehost customizer is different than the one I have created in WordPress, and some pages, such as product category pages are taking the old incorrect one from Bluehost. It’s also creating cache issues – sometimes when I update a menu item’s url and publish the changes, suddenly the mobile version of the site uses this “Bluehost” version.

I cannot change the version in Bluehost. Bluehost support tried but couldn’t resolve the issue, and told me that it’s likely a problem with the theme, and that I should contact the developer.

How can I get the mobile version in Bluehost customizer to match the correct one, including headers and footers, I have created with TagDiv in WordPress?

Hello,

I would like to clarify that I never claimed that you had deleted a WordPress plugin. What I said was that the configuration of certain modules had been reset. This is probably because you deactivated the module (GDPR Cookie Compliance). By deactivating it, all custom settings are removed, in line with its operating mode. This has forced us to spend two hours reconfiguring each time.

Regarding the mobile menu, we have already fixed and changed it, but it has not altered the code; the problem still persists.

You talk about doing a “check in the theme panel also,” but where exactly should I look? There are many settings; which one could potentially generate these lines of code in the code?

Thank you for your invaluable assistance.
Best regards.

Hello @dlicoppe !

I’m sorry that you face those issues, but I’m sure that we do not delete the plugins of our clients. Anyway, I told you exactly where you could find the code. In the mobile viewport, for every menu, check if you’ve chosen the menu (check in the theme panel also).

Thank you!

When an article is opened on a mobile device, there is the default WordPress error messages shown.

In the logs, I see the following error:

[Wed Jun 14 11:59:55.214315 2023] [proxy_fcgi:error] [pid 1696871:tid 140319819536128] [client 123.123.123.123:47370] AH01071: Got error 'PHP message: PHP Warning: require_once(../wp-content/Newspaper/tagdiv-deploy-mode.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in ../wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/functions.php on line 11PHP message: PHP Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '../wp-content/Newspaper/tagdiv-deploy-mode.php' (include_path='.:') in ../wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/functions.php on line 11'

It looks like the value for $get_parent_template_directory is missing the “themes” directory.

I looked in the code, but could not find where this value is comming from.

Anybody a idea?

Hi @Bettina,

Thank you for your response.

The question is about Google Analytics for AMP via Mobile Theme.

I believe your answer is related to desktop.

– Is the code (below), shown by TagDiv as an example in Mobile Theme >> AMP Analytics still current?

“{
“vars”:{
“account”:”UA-123456789-1
},
“triggers”:{
“trackPageview”:{
“on”:”visible”,
“request”:”pageview”
}
}
}”

Hi,

Is there any instruction on how to add a new Google Analytics (GA4) to the AMP pages (using Mobile theme)?

Mobile theme currently says code needs to be like this:
“{
“vars”:{
“account”:”UA-123456789-1″
},
“triggers”:{
“trackPageview”:{
“on”:”visible”,
“request”:”pageview”
}
}
}”

Is this still correct?

Thank you.

So looking at my server logs, I have http get request for my logo & mobile logo that I have defined in the Newspaper theme. Like many requests per second.

I have WP Rocket as the caching program but the get requests are constant whether the caching program is enabled or disabled.

I am currently using the Crypto News Pro pre-built theme and I am getting 4 deadlink errors on each page and since currently have 73 pages, I am getting almost 300 deadlink errors. The dead links are for the following categories, which did not exist on my site: blockchain, ntfs, opinions and deals. I view the page source and here is what I see.

<!– menu section –>
<div class=”td-mobile-content”>
<div class=”menu-td-demo-header-menu-container”><ul id=”menu-td-demo-header-menu” class=”td-mobile-main-menu”><li id=”menu-item-420″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-first menu-item-420″>Blockchain
<li id=”menu-item-421″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-421″>NFTs
<li id=”menu-item-422″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-422″>Opinions
<li id=”menu-item-425″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-425″>Deals
</div> </div>
</div>

Please let me know how to remove this from my site, so I do not get these errors.

Hello,

Please provide more details, like the link to your website.Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edited with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Thank you!

Hello,

I had several issues with tagdiv mobile and contacted support (still waiting for an answer) but I have now another big problem. I installed Disqus but the plugin wasn’t working, the old default comment system was still there even though I tried every tutorial. I contacted Disqus support and they said it was a problem with Tagdiv Newspaper theme and that I had to revert to WordPress old theme to see if it works. I did and it indeed worked, then when I reverted to Newspaper Disqus system was still showing however, my layout was completely destroyed. Can you tell me what I should do to get my site back ?

My website is bibimtalk.com

Thank you !!
