Hello @mines2market!
If you mean you need a button called “Load More” for your pagination, then you can achieve this by editing that page with TagDiv Composer, and you will find in “Posts Loop” element settings like in this screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/E8rOlD4jHMp
I’m sorry that you are facing issues using Newspaper Theme. The page loading speed for both mobile and desktop depends on many factors and you can’t compare an empty theme like Twenty Twenty with a fully functional, features loaded theme like Newspaper that helps you create a website in a few hours.
We are building a long term collaboration with our customers. You can see on our demos what page loading speed score can a website loaded with content can have. However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view.
Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
We can’t not provide a solution for you here, right now as we do not know what are the conditions on your website. You can make the following tests:
1. Activate tagdiv Composer and Standard Pack, install a standard demo and check the page loading speed, then disable the Standard Pack and activate the cloud template and install a pro demo. You’ll see that the speed will improve significantly. Also, you should consider creating the mobile optimized pages for each of your pages to improve the speed on the small screen devices.
2. Test your website in a page speed test la GTMetrix or Google Pagespeed Insights and check the loading time on the ads, fonts and tracking scripts – if there is something there that slows your website down, take action.
Our developers are constantly working on improving Newspaper Theme performance. If you need our help, please send us an email at bogdan@tagdiv.com, we’ll evaluate your client’s website and see if there is something we can do to assist you.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello!
If you will edit the page with TagDiv Composer, select Website Manager and choose mobile menu, check this: https://www.screencast.com/t/RHIf9iWQUg ; There you can select which menu you want to be on mobile.
Note that if you have Mobile theme plugin activated, then you can not change the menu of it. In this case, you need to uninstall the plugin and try again.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately, there is not a general option to disable the mobile theme plugin for all pages. This can be done only manually on each page.
The option was implemented only in Gutenberg editor, therefore will not work with the classic editor.
What you can do is to try to enable the Gutenberg editor until you disable the mobile theme for pages.
Thank you for understanding!
Hello!
I suggest you to use the responsive version, then the custom taxonomies will be display without problems.
If you want to use the mobile theme plugins, then please use a custom post type as in our guide from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/
If you want to use another way to get your CPT, then unfortunately, this will require custom work which is not covered by the support team.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
This situation appears when you are using the mobile theme plugin and the cache plugin that you have do not has options for separate mobile theme plugin, therefore, do not know when to deliver the mobile version and when to deliver the desktop version.
We tested with our theme the WP Super Cache and with the settings from our guide this is working correctly -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi, I still want to know if the Article bottom ad shows after the contents of a ‘page’ or does it only work with ‘post’.
And, I would like to know if I change the adsense size for mobile to 320×100 on the theme panel for the header, will they be able to show 320×50 ad size as well, or is it fixed to 320×100.
Thanks
Hello!
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you want the same design on mobile, you need to deactivate Mobile Theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hello,
I checked the line code where you get that notification https://i.imgur.com/S3tLgCw.png and this seems to be related to mobile CSS from the mobile theme plugin.
We’ll like to take a look to your website if this is possible, for this please make a full backup and contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com provide wp-admin and cPanel. Also include the link of this topic. My teammates will inspect the website to see what can be the problem.
Thank you!

Hello !
You can use this css code as you can see here #td-top-mobile-toggle { But Your website doesn’t seem to work with responsive method, that is a strange behaviour.
display:none;
}
This may be a plugin conflict. You will have to first start looking for a plugin conflict. please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also you can try and remove and re-install the tagDiv Composer plugin and please send us a link to your website in order to take a look.
Let us know the results.
Thank you !
Where in the style.css for the mobile theme I can increase the space between the top social buttons and the info text for the ads like -advertisement- for the top ad?
Thank you very much!
Greetings Kathrin
Hi,
How to edit the footer of the mobile theme? We see here below 2 texts “About us” and “follow us” which we cannot edit. Likewise, the category listing is not in our interest, but cannot be edited via the TagDiv composer.
Where can changes be made here?
Hello,
For Android, the author name looked fine => https://www.screencast.com/t/R7x7FjCo6V7D
Is possible that accent color from Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> Theme Colors to be set to white => https://www.screencast.com/t/PQEntMkI3jKB
If you want to change the color link for the author name, you can try this custom CSS
header .td-module-meta-info .td-post-author-name a {
color: green;
}
To add the code, you need to go in Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS => https://www.screencast.com/t/WfVOQkaGJwwm
Let me know about your results!
Thank you!
Hi CT Lab, if you use the mobile theme plugin, then the mobile layout and the settings will be different, also the mobile page content must be set using only mobile editor https://i.imgur.com/RN1qaoo.png , or use the responsive version https://i.imgur.com/2EeAD1p.png
When you disabled the mobile theme plugin, then you use the responsive version of theme.
Thank you!
Hello. The category custom post type archives display on Desktop, but not on the mobile newspaper theme.
I’m using the very popular CPT UI plugin to create the custom post types.
I have the following code in functions.php so CPT displays in category and tag archives.
// Display AEGIS custom post types in Category and Tags archives
function my_cptui_add_post_types_to_archives( $query ) {
// We do not want unintended consequences.
if ( is_admin() || ! $query->is_main_query() ) {
return;
}
if ( is_category() || is_tag() && empty( $query->query_vars['suppress_filters'] ) ) {
$cptui_post_types = cptui_get_post_type_slugs();
$query->set(
'post_type',
array_merge(
array( 'post' ),
$cptui_post_types
)
);
}
}
Surely there’s code to add to make it compatible with Android, iOS, Tablets, etc? Custom post types are a good feature on TheAEGISAlliance.com, and I’d like its category and tags archives to work properly on mobile. Please help. Thank you.

Hi there,
I’m working on our newssite with cloud templates, so tagdiv Standard Pack is disabled. That works fine. Our homepage has a Fast News header template with a main menu for regional news with one menuitem linking to a sport page. I use this sport page with a duplicate of the header cloud template Fast news and called it Fast news sport. I added a different logo to the header and a different main menu. All other sport sections will have this header. So far so good. But there are a few things not working fine:
Using manager in composer mode I can’t edit the mobile view. Do I need the special Mobile pages plugin for this to work?
When editing an page in composer mode I only get the desktop view and not the tablet, laptop and mobile view. They all show desktop view. Before this worked fine, but with cloud templates it looks like an issue. Any ideas about this?
Finaly: the two different logo’s a showing fine in desktop mode, but when viewing on my mobile I get the logo set in Theme Panel Header. When I delete this image, I see no logo at all in mobile view on the sport page(s).
Can you give me some hints on how to handle this? The answer in the manual doesn’t work as discribed.
Thanks a lot!
The above page is getting displayed in desktop version with theme covid italy pro. When I enable mobile version+AMP of the theme, the homepage is not getting displayed covid italy pro.

Hello, I love the mobile theme and the speed of it. Would it be possible to include the ‘latest articles’ that appear on the homepage also under a post instead of the related articles that now appear under a post?
Hello
Does the official infolinks plugin work with the mobile theme? Now it’s not working for me
My site http://www.ivenezuela.travel
Thanks
We found the error. We deactiveated AMP and tagDiv Mobile Theme and now its working. You might want to look into this!
Hi,
We experiencing problems with the mobile theme. With or without AMP installed the menu does not work (no response if clicked) and none of our pages are showing. It just shows the post pages on the home screen. Other than that it only displays the header and footer. Please advice asap!
Hello,
I recently configured AdSense AMP Auto Ads for the Mobile Theme and am having an issue. The ads are showing up, but I removed the footer area from showing ads using the AdSense preview page, yet they still seem to display in the footer.
Is there a specific way I need to do this for AMP Auto Ads?
Please Help!
Thanks
If I want to gain loading speed on mobile devices but maintain the formatting of my desktop version of the website do I simply install the AMP plug-in from the plug-ins menu and NOT the Mobile Theme plug-in? I’ve watched the tutorial videos but still not clear on whether both plug-ins need to be installed simultaneously, or if AMP will work as stand-alone plug-in.
Thanks.
