Trying to access my site from my pc browsers and can only see the mobile theme. Have tried in different computers and it is the same. I have noticed that mobile and desktop themes not always work as they should.
Sometimes the mobile theme does not work on mobiles and instead I get to see the PC theme; and now it is happening the other way around. Can you please help to identify and solve this issue? thanks

Hi,

Usually the h1 is set on logo, if you are using a cloud header from tagDiv Cloud Library, you can have a different H1 per page/posts, another way is to using the Page Builder + Page Title on page template, this should set your page title as h1 and remove the h1 from logo.
If you want that your title to have the h1 set instead of logo, then please check if you are using a cloud header, if yes, then you can edit it with tagDiv Composer and disable the h1 -> http://prntscr.com/q1ohji from desktop and make sure that you do the same for mobile logo -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xVUjIMUelXA2 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ABTw6DUnbMjH and the problem will be solved!

For the featured image from mobile, please check in theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/BiZNVMP.png if you are using the mobile theme plugin you need to remove from here -> https://i.imgur.com/HJLDVTl.png also make sure that you clear all cache after these changes.

Thank you!

Hello !

The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.

You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !

Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC

Hi,

If you are using the mobile theme plugin, then you need to set the ads in Theme panel> mobile theme > mobile ads -> https://i.imgur.com/DYiI2VV.png
If you are not using the mobile theme plugin, and only the responsive version, then you need to set the ads on mobile version using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/5L9Y47S.png -> https://tagdiv.com/ad-box-newspaper-theme/

Thank you!

Hello !

It appears that you are using the responsive version not the mobile theme. For this you can disable the background images from Theme Panel – Background – Mobile Menu / Search Background: https://www.screencast.com/t/pCzPxrDqD

Thank you !

* When using desktop – all images are being displayed correctly (both regular and incognito)
* When using Mobile view on Chrome (iPhone emulator) – all images are being displayed correctly (both regular and incognito)
* When using my own iPhone Mobile – 98% of the images are NOT being displayed at all

Disclaimer:
1. I’m no longer using Mobile Theme as it is not reliable enough for high volume traffic
2. I have checked and comply with the entire theme requirements
3. I have deactivated and reactivated only tagdiv plugins
4. I have clear the cache several times
5. I have enabled all images sizes via the theme panel

Thanks for your reply.

!. My question was: Is it necessary to use a Cache Plugin with Mobile Theme? Can we use Mobile Theme without using a Cache Plugin?

2. I am using SiteGround for hosting services. And using their SG Optimizer plugin instead of any other cache plugin. It’s working fine with Newspaper theme. Will it work ok with the mobile theme as well?

Thanks & Regards…… Renu Bakshi

Hello !

A cache plugin purges all the cache your website adds, no matter if you have mobile theme / responsive or any kind of theme. We highly suggest to our users to have 1 caching plugin all the time.

Hello !

The Newspaper Theme is 100% Functional. We suggest to all of our customers to read carefully all our documentation before starting to work with it. We agree that this theme is not as easy to work with but that is because there are a lot of features.

For the footer problem. Footer can be edited by opening your website manager as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/5VkiUmHQvF Select the footer and scroll to the bottom of your page.
