Hi,

When the mobile theme plugin is active there will be a latest articles section indeed, at the bottom of the page.
At the top of the page there will be a grid with 3 featured posts. The top grid with 3 posts will appear if you add posts to the featured category
https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/

More about the mobile theme here – https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/

Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi,

If your header menu is make with header manager you need to edit the header template and check the sticky menu, scroll until you see the sticky menu and click on logo -> https://www.screencast.com/t/o6Z8zoJoWbFY

If you are not using header from tagDiv Cloud Library please check the logos from theme panel> Header > Logo & Favicon and in Logo for mobile ->https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/

Thank you!

Hi,

The mobile theme is a plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se

If you want the responsive version and amp you should use this opinion -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jZct5ueBqOrb but if you have amp activate on pages you’ll need to create in Mobile editor a content for AMP version of page.

Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/

Also for the 3 blocks, you’ll need to have set same feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4

If you do not have the featured category, you’ll need to add some posts in feature category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ if you do not have this category you can create it, just make sure that you set the category name to be
Featured

Let me know if you have more questions!

Hi,

In order to hide/remove the menu and search icons on mobile you can use this custom css
#td-top-mobile-toggle, .td-search-wrapper {
display: none;
}

Set the code in Theme panel>Custom code>Phones -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Novt6YGDKqGO

Hope this will help you!
Thanks.

AS I am using news paper theme for my website and It’s awesome and I like it. But the problem is the main primary menu works properly with desktop view as it it dropdown type menu like when the cursor go to that menu the content will be shown down like that I hope you understand because I don’t know technical term for that. But as in mobile view there is no drop down for the menu and click and pages for every menu is not there in news paper app as default. So, I can change that setting for mobile view?

I am having issues with the mobile theme with newspaper. I made a new site https://massagegearguide.com/ and everything looks perfect on desktop but not with mobile. The home page on my mobile theme just shows latest articles and doesn’t show the content listed on the home page.

I also can’t get the featured images I paid for to show and it’s just a placeholder. I tried changing the template and I downloaded the plugin that the site recommended and went through all the steps. I have had no success.

Hi Catalin,
1)Please see this: https://prnt.sc/nme2c5
Reference URL: https://www.gadgetbridge.com/news/paytm-mall-is-offering-a-cashback-of-up-to-rs-12000-on-iphone-xs-iphone-xr-and-others/
(in both normal and incognito mode)
2) We used to use Jetpack plugin a long time ago. we removed it a year ago and are not using it since then. Also, cache was cleared. What do you recommend to fix this as others too are getting undefined URL in the tab.
3) If we do next post, then if a person is on the very next post then nothing will. There has to be an option, if one is on the first post then the autoload will load the previous post. Or if the person is on an old post, he/she will see the latest post after that.
4) Hope we can get autoload feature in the mobile theme, as that is the theme that one uses since it is faster than a responsive theme.
5) Thanks will check this.

Thanks for the response but isn’t that just a difference between responsive views of the website? Perhaps I don’t understand the difference between responsive and the mobile theme? Could you please clear that up for me?

Hi,

I think that you’ll need to check in Theme panel>Translations in LATEST ARTICLES if this is still set to Ultimile articole -> https://www.screencast.com/t/KrCIPk6Wse
Unfortunately the mobile theme can not be customize for the moment, the only way that you can change the 3 post from category page to show like in Latest articles is to make some changes in theme files.

Thank you!

Hello !

1. In order to hide those icons you will need to apply this CSS code #td-mobile-nav .td-social-icon-wrap {
display: none;
}
here: https://www.screencast.com/t/6vHARUv2pcv and it should look like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/hmT2VoO1wAox

2. That is becaue you have the Mobile Theme plugin from the theme panel active. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.

Thank you !

Hi,

Please check this topic about How can I view the mobile version of a webpage in Google Chrome for Desktop?

If you are no using the mobile theme plugin you can use flex blocks and you can chose the layout for each device ( desktop, iPad, mobile ).

I have placed my Adsense code into the ‘Article Bottom Ad’ section in my Mobile theme settings, yet no ads are showing.

Is there any issue or is there a reason they are not showing?

Hi,

I have recently updated the theme and install tag div mobile & AMP plugin. Here is my blog https://appmodo.com/

all the AMP URLs, for example, https://appmodo.com/spotify-premium-apk/amp turned into https://appmodo.com/spotify-premium-apk/?amp and I lost almost 50% of the website traffic all of the sudden as Google was indexing my pages with /amp versions for mobile…

Now, I’m also getting errors with google search console for validating AMP pages. I’m very much disappointed by this update as the permalink structure for AMP pages changed and I lost 50% of my organic traffic as well.

Here is the screenshot : http://prntscr.com/nmcluz

How I can get back my website to the normal with /amp version of the URLs to avoid more drop in traffic and fix validation error.

Thanks!

Hi AshleighF1717,

You need to provide your website URL so we can take a closer look at your mobile menu. If you are using some untested plugins, we recommend to disable all of them and leave just to active only the required plugins if you want to achieve good theme results.

Thank you!

Hello !

The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices.Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design but you will achieve greater optimization for your website on mobile devices.

To see if your mobile theme works you can do that by inspecting your website using the inspector tool and selec mobile device. Refresh and you should see differences just like here:

Desktop: https://www.screencast.com/t/fhAC5pMwQ
Mobile Theme on: https://www.screencast.com/t/m1JecJdRJu
Mobile Theme off: https://www.screencast.com/t/5hlCBmSh
