We are months further and the more I work with your theme, the more amazed I am that you guys have really found the most complicated way to create a nice, smooth elegant mobile website. The problem I described still exists. Your image doesn’t show which plugin you use and that should matter. The theme should have its own cache options.
I am not using the mobile plugin because that’s even more horrifying to work with. But GOD please, when I setup a normal frontpage, please make the mobile pagina look the same as the desktop version: stop plying mindgames!!!
Thanks Calin for your reply, you guys probably are doing your best. I’m gonna try one or two days more to get it all setup, alythough I think I am just to simple miinded to grasp your theme….
Hello,
I currently have the Newsweek Pro theme installed to my website but I like the layout of the mobile menu in the theme Urban Observer. How can I incorporate the mobile menu design from the Urban Observer theme into the Newsweek Pro theme? I don’t see any options to add anything to the mobile menu in terms of search boxes, horizontal menu elements, etc.
There were still issues with the mobile page printing and I had difficulty identifying what exactly was changed so I restored the website.
In LiveCSS, I added the following code:
@media print {
.tdb-logo-text-wrap {
display: none !important;
}
body {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}
}
by adding the !important flag it places the CSS at a higher priority and thus it actually works !!!
Result:
Desktop printing: perfect
Mobile printing: it still wants to print the background header image … how do I hide that image (I can’t find the CSS name)?
I also tried placing the new working CSS within Newspaper’s
Theme Panel – Custom Code – Custom CSS
however, the !important flag was flagged by the panel and the end result did not work
Hello,
If is used the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin, then you’ll need to edit those file
– wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/single.php
– wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/loop.php
Unfortunately with the code to add your custom taxonomy I can not help, if is about a css for style, this is ok, we can do it, but custom code and changes in the theme files with custom code is a bit over what our support can offer, sorry!
As a hint, this is the code that I saw as example in some articles – https://pastebin.com/DLvm1Gir
I hope this will help you!
Hello Bettina,
I think you didn’t understand me correctly, I am asking about mobile-theme.woff error. I added “font-display:swap” to style.css and style-amp.css but nothing changed.
Thanks
Hello!
The fonts settings for the Mobile theme are separated in the theme panel -> mobile theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Thank you!
Hi,
If your mobile layout is not the responsive version, then it is used the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin. To have the responsive version, the one that can be seen in tagDiv Composer, it will be need to disable the tagDiv mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
I have the latest version installed and everything is updated, if you access the website from a mobile browser a redirect is made to a spam website.
If I deactivate the theme this does not happen.
You can see it at checkinmag.com. I come with this problem a while ago. I had seen the increase in traffic. I had to block several countries. It seems that they redirect traffic to the website.
Any ideas?
There is no ads in the theme panel and there is no ads on pages, but the ad containers are still present on the website and since some of them have a fixed height, it breaks the layout.
For example, the header ad is empty, but you can see that the layout has a spot for it on mobile (see two screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/GMtsKmc)
Hello!
The social icons from the mobile menu are coming from the Theme Panel -> Social/Apis -> Social Networks -> https://i.imgur.com/kKYIECB.png remove/edit them after your needs.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please disable the mobile theme and amp plugins.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Thank you!
Hi Team,
I am facing an issue while switch to mobile theme https://panjabpost.com/home-mobile/ and theme url https://panjabpost.com/. but when it open in mobile layout change due to amp. Could you please help me to configure right settings.
Hello,
Please provide some screenshots and the link to your website. Also, please let me know what cache plugin you use. Maybe if you have the mobile theme plugin, you need to check in your cache plugin if there is this option to have a mobile cache, for example https://i.imgur.com/6b3cmCl.png
A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, and send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link; paste it here.
Thank you!

Hi. I am the admin of http://www.christianmessenger.in website. We use the Newspaper theme. For the last few months we have been experiencing redirects to spam websites from mobile browser. Upon investigation we found out that tagdiv composer had been injected with a malware. The current version is very old. And we are not able to enable auto update of the plugin. Please help.
I tried my theme installing but somehow some of my blog pages showing mobile view.. how to fix?
So let me get this right. The plugin for social sharing you put into the themes plugins, you no longer take responsibility for. You’ve just done this to me with the mobile plugin and the APM plugin saying they dont work anymore. Even if they don’t work anymore you’re still responsible for selling them as part of the theme. Maybe if you’d stuck to this being a newspaper theme instead of trying to now diversify it into a woocommerce theme the original plugins would work.
Yours, extremely disappointed.
The mobile version of the theme does not display page contents. Here an example: https://giornatamondiale.it/dicembre/
Hello,
Please go to the Newspaper -> plugins and disable the tag mobile theme and amp.
Thank you!
Hi, how can I deactivate the mobile theme? I want to see only the desktop version. Thank you
Hello!
Deactivate the mobile theme and amp plugin.
Thank you!
Hi Setrey,
Normally if you are using standard templates, then the theme will automatically set a H1 on logo if there is no element for page title in the page/template, if there is a page title, then the H1 will be on it and not on logo.
Also, if there are using cloud templates then the H1 can be removed using the theme builder, tagDiv Composer.
Now in case that you want to edit the files, then I will recommend using a child theme and the files that should be edited are:
– wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-h1.php (replace the h1 with anther html tag like p/div/span …) – https://i.imgur.com/VTXpfNM.png
– wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-text.php (if you are using text logo) – https://i.imgur.com/9dGOsJI.png
Now for mobile theme if is used then it can be edited from here – wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/parts/logo.php unfortunately this will not work in a child theme.
I hope this will help!
Thank you!
my link is working great in web, but when opening it in mobile view it is just showing the default page for newspaper theme. i have designed mobile view also.

Hi Calin,
can you please let me know how exactly I should edit the file logo-h1.php? How should I remove h1 tag from the .php file? I opened it but it has 81 lines, can you please guide me a bit? Thank you very much! Martin

“Removing the h1 from logo in theme files, the file path for desktop version is wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-h1.php and for mobile is wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-mobile-h1.php”
