Hi
The mobile menu from V 3 won’t work with 2.3.7 because there is no implementation for it.
All modified files can be found in theme’s patch http://screencast.com/t/uRMUbEkkpkJH You just have to download the last version from themeforest and all code will be available.
Thanks!
Hello,
I’ve deactivated all plugins except Visual Composer 4.11.2, Social Counter 4.1, and tagDiv Mobile Theme 1.0. I’ve deleted the theme/Newsletter folder from the FTP (making my website down). Again downloaded the fresh theme file from Themeforest and uploaded them to the FTP.
It didn’t help. I still get similar errors with the theme.
Could you please help?

Hi
Please make sure that you’re using V 3.0 of the theme and also check the site on mobile as whatsapp icon appear only on mobile devices.
If you still can’t manage to solve this please provide your site url so I can have a closer look.
Thanks!

PS : can u provide me the settings of WP Super Cache may be it helps….
Hello OllieConnolly,
Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option that offers you a way to change the fonts for the mobile theme, sorry! So, if you need to do that, please notice that you will have to use a bit of CSS code for achieving this. I suppose that you want to increase the font-size for your post content and for this, please try the code below and place in Theme panel->Mobile Theme->Custom CSS code -> http://screencast.com/t/v7jR5gnNH
The code is ->
.td-post-content p {
font-size:20px!important;
}
The result -> http://screencast.com/t/OsMl8CFAJVq
and if you want to make it bold your heading you will have to use the following code.
h1, h2, h3 {
font-weight:bold;
}
Thanks.
Hi,
Is it possible to get it displayed on mobile and tablet?
We haven’t disabled it in the settings in Theme Panel.
best regards,
Peter
Hello,
There is nothing more to be purchased as the theme provides visual composer free bundled with the theme. However, if you use the mobile theme plugin, there will be 2 editors in your page edit screen. The one at the top is the mobile editor that does not use visual composer. If you scroll down you will see the visual composer editor present and working.
If for some reason this does not work, it probably means you did not update the plugin in which case you need to use this guide to update it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thank you!
Hello eyesandvoice,
I have checked your website in mobile mode and I haven’t noticed any problems with your posts, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/kHjtxylj5Y2y and everything seems to work as properly. Also, to achieve best results with our theme, please try to use only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and try to disable others that are not tested with the theme to rule out the conflicting plugins.
So, if you need more assistance in this regard, please provide some useful screenshots where I can identify your problem if it still exists.
Thanks for your message!
Hello zunigafelipe,
The DoubleClick ads aren’t recognized by theme’s ad system and the code is rendered as it is. The theme only works using google Adsense ad codes: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads/ … for another type of ads you can either use wp text widget or a plugin like Simple Ads Manager or AdRotate to render the code then use theme’s ad spots. For more references about this regard, you can consult this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-responsive-ads-with-google-dfp/
Also, if you want to paste your tag in the mobile version in the header section, you will have to check the header.php core file from the mobile section, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/kfBP1X4Ds
Thank you for your understanding!
Is there a way to increase the size of the body font for the mobile theme? Also, is it possible to bold the headings?

Hi
I am now using the mobile theme, I paste my ad-sense code on all the mobile ads sector (except from Article Top Ad) and everything is fine but… your newspaper ads is showing up above all my ads (doubling it up) on the mobile theme.
when viewing the site, on each ad box they are two ads (your ads above) – meaning its too much ads.
Is this normal? and from google adsense? How can I resolve this?
Thanks again
Hi
Why is it that on mobile (both on the mobile theme and the responsive) – the the post does not fit?
It’s difficult for our readers. The posts always floats around to the right shows like a blank page – it is not fitted to the screen.
At first I was using the responsive mobile, switched to the mobile theme and it is still same.
Please resolve this
Thanks
I had done everything. followed each and every step deactivated all plugins and just installed bundled plugins only what i observed is ” If a Page loads on Mobile or Tablet First it loads in mobile/Tablet Theme then in Desktop also it is coming like that Mobile/Tablet post/Page so the First Loaded Content is only displaying but in mobiles definitely it’s coming as Mobile Theme but in Desktop it’s failing always if it previously loaded on a Mobile/Tablet”
See this pictures even Mobile Dropdown also not working properly
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/55681588/tw/Mobile%20Theme.png
But in Mobile Responsive View Default Theme Dropdown is working
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/55681588/tw/Normal.png
I cleared all the caches am not using the CDN services.
Really I Love Newspaper Theme & i adore Tagdiv team i’m so much satisfied with the Theme. From So Many days am waiting for this NewsPaper Mobile Theme Settings Option in ThemePanel but still am unable to understand why it was happening
I’m using a brand new install with the out of the box parent and child theme so no custom code. If I use an IE9 emulator like the Developer Tools provided with IE, the child theme displays fine. (Using just the parent theme, everything also looks good in IE9.) However, using the child theme on an actual IE9 browser on a Windows 7 machine is where I see the problems. Others users in my organization are seeing this, too, so I don’t think it’s due to anything funky with my browser/OS setup. If I copy over the styles from the parent to the child theme style.css, then that seems to fix the display problems in IE9.
Mobile menu always open: http://www.screencast.com/t/GEpFDsHOayQS
Modal login always appears at top, icon fonts drop out, horizontal list styles lost: http://www.screencast.com/t/IgsGl9detJec
Thanks you!

I am unable to instal required Plugins like Visual Composer, Social Counter, Mobile Theme etc. Following error shows up-
Installing Plugin: Visual Composer
The plugin does not have a valid header.
Downloading install package from http://whatexactly.in/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/plugins/js_composer.zip…
Download failed. Failure when receiving data from the peer
Hello Not Guilty,
Please keep in mind that our new mobile theme does not support the Visual Composer shortcode and therefore, all elements which have added with Visual Composer on the mobile theme will not be displayed, though. Please notice that the new mobile theme was intent to display a very simple version of the page. At the moment, you can add only text, images. For more information about our mobile theme, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ So, if you are unhappy with this mobile theme, you will simply deactivate the mobile theme plugin and the theme will be switched to the normal responsive mobile mode.
Thanks for your understanding!

Ultimately, the site is loading as a white screen.
Please help.

Hi Catalin,
Thanks for the reply. I did exactly what you said and then switched on my original plugins one by one. It seems to be that there was a conflict but it’s been rectified by using this method of reactivating one by one.
I do have the mobile theme switched on now and the only problem now, is that an iframe I have on one of the pages does not load. Loads fine on ipad, but on any mobile phone it simply fails to display. The link is here. Can you tell me why phones have an issue with iframes and tablets don’t?
Hi Support,
I’ve just updated to v7 from 6.6. After the update I’m getting the mobile menu display right above the main site. When in responsive mode the menu disappears and the hamburger icon doesn’t allow the mobile menu to display at all.
Be great to know if there is an update process I’ve missed? Have tried adding the mobile theme plugin but that doesn’t help either.
Look forward to a resolve.
Cheers

Hello VoZz,
Please notice that this type of plugins is not tested with our theme and I am not aware what you have implemented this code on your backend, sorry! If you want to display the Newsletter in the full-width mode for your mobile mode, you will have to use a bit of CSS code to do that. Please try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
@media (max-width:767px){
.td-container{
padding-left: 1px;
padding-right: 1px;
}
}
The result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/bpyEluYz
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Catalin,
That’s what I said. I have already changed that a long time ago, before there even was a mobile theme. On the normal web page its translated, on the mobile theme it is not. http://ow.ly/EnDg300ZE7e
