Now where do i get this plugin? I see no option to install under plugins in newspaper.
1- How can I change the color of the category label that appears under the title of each news item? I would like it to be red
2- Is it possible to align the menu links on the right side, next to the magnifying glass?
3- I have managed to modify the padding top of the cover, but in the “big grid” of the categories it keeps appearing below and I do not know how to modify it.
4- I tried to change the thickness of the font of the small thumbnails of the big grid 4 but in the mobile version they still appear with normal thickness.
6. Only if the mobile theme is used will there be a different (so to say) website loaded. If it’s not active exactly the same content is displayed on mobile. Just like viewing the website on desktop and starting to reduce the width of the browser window. The elements will adapt.
Currently the background when set will be loaded at all times. I will however add this on our list and it will be strongly considered. Since the background is not visible on mobile, no point being loaded indeed. A solution will be found.
7. I get the same result with the image you are using, resized to 1920x1080px it is behind the content
– http://prntscr.com/li5sct
At about 2200px it would be right – http://prntscr.com/li5t0j
Can’t say why exactly this is happening. While the content is 1164px it should display differently, quite unusual. Maybe keep using your current work image, it looks fine.
Hi,
At the moment that is not possible. The top grid and bottom latest articles section are coded in the page template directly.
The mobile grid and modules are made specifically for the mobile theme, other composer shortcodes will not work.
Maybe this will change in the future, however currently I am not aware of such plans for the mobile theme. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
There should be a padding on left/right sides at all times. I checked with a mobile phone using the Chrome browser, this is how I see it at the moment
– https://www.screencast.com/t/B4lF6Id1Hw4R
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bq6lY4yCe
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Av5MXJpCu
There are always margins and padding set by default and automatically, to ensure that the content does not begin or end in the screen edges.
Thank you Simon. It was displaying on a different browsers and mobile, but does not appear to be showing anymore.
We’ve created a homepage in Newsmag. The site width looks good in several browsers on a phone. But, in Google Chrome the site is too wide on a phone. On the left edge of the site, the text has no padding or margin.
The text is against the edge of the screen. To look professional, the text needs some padding or margin. And, some of the mobile menu button is hidden. That’s the button in the top left corner of the screen.
The page can be slightly moved from side-to-side with a finger swipe. But, it shouldn’t need to have a finger swipe to reposition the site on the screen. The site should pull up and be centered.
Is the page content centering properly?
Whats’ the problem with the site displaying in Chrome?
This is important because Chrome is one of the most used browsers.
The site is business-stability.com.
Thank you for the reply.
6 – i tried severals time but i always see the background image during loading on mobile. So the loading cannot be prevented with a code? You can’t see on mobile devices, so I think it is a useless consumption of data.
7 – ok so i change from 1163 to 1164… but anyway I do not understand why setting a 1920×1080 background it will not cover everything. Now the background i set is 2200×1080 px…I leave it like this or are there other solutions?

Hi,
Please provide a link were I can inspect the problem.
Or you can use flex block and set different layout in function of device (but you need to deactivate mobile theme)
On desktop: https://www.screencast.com/t/6HKNJjl35i
On mobile: https://www.screencast.com/t/Ik42eacS3DgK
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi Simion C.
Thanks, I’ll use that tool to add some text.
I would like to ask, if it is possible to edit the homepage of the mobile tagdiv plugin, something similar to the cloud library, i.e. to give the option to select different homepages or to create custom ones.
thank you
Hi,
You can add content in the mobile homepage, in the mobile editor
– https://www.screencast.com/t/wawtSj1chn3
This content will be displayed below the top grid and above the latest articles, basically between those elements
– https://www.screencast.com/t/wawtSj1chn3
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ijYPob2iufLx
The top grid and latest section can’t be modified with settings, if you want to do something specific with them I could try to help you do it.
Thanks
Hi,
1/2/4 Regarding the ads issues, shouldn’t be any problems with Adsense ads. As long as your Adsense accounting is fully approved the ads should be served by Google and be visible at all times
– https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/76228?hl=en
– https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7584263?hl=en&ref_topic=1391540
– https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9724?hl=en
– https://support.google.com/adsense/troubleshooter/7049023?hl=en
3/5 If no ads are displayed in the website then it could be that Google is not serving them to your website for some reason.
The mobile theme is a highly simplified version of the website, the performance on mobile will be significantly increased when active. When inactive the same content from desktop will be loaded on mobile.
So browsing with a slow internet connection would benefit if the mobile theme plugin is active.
However regardless of using the plugin or not, you should be able to use the mobile menu. Check in browser inspector console and see if there are any errors that could indicate why the menu can’t be used. Maybe it is a conflict with a plugin, code entered in the theme panel or theme files, child theme, or theme modifications.
6. The height of the top menu or the main menu is affected by the line-height setting
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1sszfdZ75T
Change the value of the line height and the overall height will be affected.
7. The theme doesn’t have any zooming settings, should be as the live theme demo for example
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
How does it look for you exactly? I could take a look at this and the mobile menu issue if you could post a link to the website.
Thanks
Hi,
Here you’ll see the background image on mobile
https://www.screencast.com/t/cpNhccyvy
https://www.screencast.com/t/cpNhccyvy
In order to set it mor visible go in Newspaper>Theme panel>Theme color> Mobile menu & Mobile search
https://www.screencast.com/t/vuALxiJo6Ov
Hope this will help you.
Thanks
Hi,
Please provide some more details with the problem you facing.
Please read our documentation about The Mobile Theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
1. Seems to be a mistake. That setting Catalin mentioned is for the slide element. For the big grid slide category tag these 2 settings have to be enabled
– https://www.screencast.com/t/fc2D0Rd8O6e
The big grid slide is based on big grid 2, they share these category tag settings. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
2. That issue seems to be caused by a demo customization, in the Gadgets demo you have installed. I will add this issue on our list and it will be fixed in the next update. The gadgets demo uses a different grid in the homepage, with some custom design. That design seems to apply to the big grid slide you use. It will be made more specific if possible, so it does not affect other elements.
As a quick fix please enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS section
– https://pastebin.com/JHTbvyMk
Result – https://www.screencast.com/t/gJCoOVcYu
5. We are aware of this issue, the thumbnails are indeed distorted. A solution will be found for this as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Maybe a temporary solution would be to make the 2 bottom modules of the grid display like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/IAJAUQoMUl
If you should consider it, enter this code in Theme panel->Advances CSS in the phones field
– https://pastebin.com/2V3JrCbC
6. The background will be loaded on all devices when set, it is basically the same website but responsive. I have tested your website for a while on a mobile, kept refreshing pages or browsing. I don’t see the background at all on mobile.
7. With a background the width of the theme will be 1164px
– https://www.screencast.com/t/3MQBNqdaxIZ
The dimensions you are using should cover the screen since they have the same width and the background is set to 100% (when using the theme panel setting)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/taYOopLc
You seem to have set the background a different way from what I can see.
Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hello,
with the The Mobile Theme I have top grid – displays 3 featured posts.
Can I change the category?
I would like to get the “Goofy” category out. How can I do?
Hello,
If I use the plugin “mobile” in my theme, is it possible to modify the home page to add custom texts and descriptions?
Thanks
Hi,
I see it like this on desktop and mobile – https://www.screencast.com/t/80PcTrRe
That is the placeholder thumbnail that is loaded when there is no featured image or video set for posts
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
In this case please check if the posts actually have featured videos set.
Thanks
Hi,
1. If those are shortcodes provided by Visual composer then they wouldn’t be rendered by the tagDiv composer. They won’t be recognized. Blocks, grids and other theme specific elements will work with both composers because they are available in both.
On the other hand, if those shortcodes are provided by a plugin, in the tagDiv composer they can be entered in a column text for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/EeFM8r6L
2. The top menu is not displayed on mobile. If necessary it can be made visible with some CSS, for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WYd9WoqoR
I removed the socials because they are also displayed in the mobile menu window, if you want them in the top menu as well as in the mobile menu I will modify the code. Let me know.
Enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS section, then the top menu will appear on mobile.
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu,
.td-header-top-menu-full,
.td-header-sp-top-menu {
display: block!important;
text-align: center;
}
.td-social-icon-wrap{
display:none;
}}
Thanks
I have uploaded the mobile menu background image, but the image is not appearing in the mobile menu/sign in join screen. What should I do?
But when cleared the cache it seems fine, But the mobile theme is not working.
Recently I applied the mobile theme. Now even in the desktop, it shows the mobile theme. How to fix this?
website : https://bit.ly/2DCJnH3
1. i am using google adsense
2. i have entered correctly as provided by tagdiv and google adsense but ads are not working.
3. i have deactivated mobile theme plugin, now issue i am facing is loading speed, site is loading very very slow on mobile devices. what should i do now ? even on desktop site is slow, since i am from india, my users are having slow internet connection, they might need faster site.
4. i am adding ad code to theme panel > ads > header, now advertisement is getting implemented, but it is coming over the cover image which the theme has.
5. now 1 more error is encountered, i disabled the plugin mobile them, now on mobile devices, i am unable to click on menu.
Hi all, i d like to multiply x3 the entire logo section (also mobile) in the theme panel to put in each one a different logo with different redirect link! The result with all 3 logos side by side [LLL], each logo dimension 110x90px. Hope its possible or someone show me a trick to do that! thx guys, nice support ever!!
1 – that option is enabled but the categories are not shown
2 – ok i’ll try but there is too much space from the bottom anyway. Look at the red lines https://ibb.co/kJiRxq maybe it’s the category that pushes the writing down?
3 – ok thanks i’ll try
4 – ok. this is not a big problem anyway.
5 – yes, it is similar but they are both wrong. It is clearly seen that the photo has been distorted by the width. look at the picture above.
6 – no, you did not understand the problem. I do not mean the google ads below. I refer to the background ads. From Background —> THEME BACKGROUND and also in the ads panel —> BACKGROUND click ad. I set the image as you can see from here https://ibb.co/kmNiSq.
The problem is that the background is also loaded on the phone. For the background I set CUSTOM CODE —> ADVANCED CSS —> DESKTOP this code: .td-header-wrap {margin-top:115px;}. I don’t know why but on mobile layout, when pages are loading (for example when I click on an article on the homepage), I see for a few seconds the background that I set in the site. Is it not possible to prevent the ad from being loaded into the mobile version? look at the picture https://ibb.co/cVN07q
This is a page that is loading and you see the amazon logo that has been set as background. It’s really bad to see it during the loading of pages…moreover, there is no need to load additional content in the background on mobile phones. It is a useless data consumption
7-Are this dimensions correct? this is may psd file for create custom background ads https://ibb.co/jBSxLA
anyway my pc is 1920×1080 but if i set that background with the same dimensions, on the left and right side remain white spaces. Why? the resolution is the same. Look here https://ibb.co/kQZBfA
to cover the white part I had to set the size on photoshop at 2200px wide. I do not understand why.
