the page will be soon upload to the live site. until then the page is available to view at the below mentioned url
https://staging-5416-newspatron.wpcomstaging.com/
At the moment it is a pretty straightforward page, but here is a screenshot to what i aim for. low loading times.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Z3UZetX6KfH3GRoNtQMlRWfefuqC8aO_/view?usp=sharing

however i am not getting right the mobile page. please guide me on how to create the same mobile page and achieve similar loading times. as of now a different mobile page loads for the home page url.
The mobile page screenshot is below, the score is undesired and the page is different than than the web home page.

I have had the same Newspaper installation for eight years, every problem mentioned in this post worked fine when I last checked about three mounts ago. I have not done any configurations or changes since that, nor installed any new plugins. Only updated WP, theme and existing plugins.

– From what I know I don´t use Header live search element, if I do I have been doing so for years and the problem whith the search occurd only recently. What I am refering to is the usual magnifying icon on the same row as the menu on desktop, where nothing happens when I click on it.
– The Show Mobile Menu is enabled, and have been so for years. The hamburger is visible on mobile, but nothing happens when it is clicked.
– When I write Interactive World Maps, I mean the plugin named so https://codecanyon.net/item/interactive-world-maps/2874264. Sorry If I was unclear, since it is within the same family I thought it would be understood. Not Google Maps. The maps have worked for me for years, but dont show anymore.

Since I have not changed anything myself, I asumed it one of the plugins causing it all, but as I wrote in my original post I have tried to inactivate them one by one without any luck.

Hello!

Do you use the Header live search element?
Make sure this option is enabled: https://app.screencast.com/tsqGya8uhcdGp
Click on that hamburger menu and choose a menu in the mobile viewport: https://prnt.sc/KM1WiaiJlPSD
How did you add the maps? Here is the guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/use-google-maps-api/

Thank you!

Hi there.. This is my issue..

1) When the “mobile theme” plugin is not active, below is how the mobile page shows vs how the desktop page shows..

How page is showing in Mobile when mobile plugin is NOT active
How page is showing on Desktop when mobile theme is NOT activated

2) When the Mobile theme is active, this is how the same page (https://www.shippingandfreightresource.com/shipping-and-freight-resource/) displays..

About page when Mobile theme is activated

3) This is how the menu shows up when Mobile theme is active

4) This is how an article displays when the Mobile theme is active

Now I read Annamaria’s comment about delayed CSS loading, but even after refreshing the page many times, this is how it shows.. Could you pls advise where the issue is..

Clicking around I just realized that:
– The search function using the magnifying ikon does not work, either on mobile or desktop. Nothing happens when I press the icon https://www.ladiesabroad.se/
– On mobile also the menu (hamburger) does not work, nothing happens
– My Interactive Maps do not load at all https://www.ladiesabroad.se/besokta-lander.html

I have tried to inactivate the plugins one by one, it did not help.

It can have been like this for a while; I do not often use those functions/pages myself. It might be other features that do not work as well, but I have not found them yet.

Any suggestions?

Hi i.zune13, this situation is because you are using the mobile theme plugin and this removes the content from pages because this is usually made with shotcodes from builders. Now the most simple solution if you want to have the responsive version on mobile is to disable the tagDiv mobile theme plugin, but in case that you want to use it only for posts and you do not have many pages, then you can manually disable the option from each page in part – https://i.imgur.com/TC9kXdy.png (this option is only for the Gutenberg editor) or if you want to keep it on pages then you’ll need to use the mobile editor from the bottom of pages to add content using only the options provided by this – https://forum.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/mobile-theme.png
I hope this will help you!

Hello @RahulDasOp!

I see that it looks good on mobile. Please check the console while you click on the button. Make sure it is not a plugin conflict or a security setting that may interfere there.

Thank you!

Hello @waleed9!

1. Try to change the height of the row or adjust the image from the tagdiv Composer settings in order to adjust the image there.
You can set a background color on every row, or from the theme panel -> theme colors -> General theme colors.
We have some settings for the rows and different stretch sizes: https://www.screencast.com/t/bsbB5P97A
Check the option to stretch rows with content.

2. You can achieve that with this element: https://app.screencast.com/mWiJREdMYsoMB
Read all about it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/video-playlist-2/

3. Click on that row and change the background color from the CSS tab of the element in the mobile viewport.

4. The logo from your mobile viewport is a different element, and you can change the size from the element settings in the tagdiv Composer. Adjust it in order to look great there. I can see that is a text logo, so you can change the font size from here: https://app.screencast.com/sdHMuX0NAP4fK

Thank you!

Hello,

1. For About Us or Follow Us, you translate them from Theme Panel -> Translations-> Translations, or you can set a space, and then it will not be displayed.
Please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-working-well-with-this-theme/ and choose what mobile version you want.
2. Unfortunately, you can’t set the sticky menu to always sticky.

Thank you!

Hello,

You have the mobile theme plugin activated; please deactivate it.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Also, please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-working-well-with-this-theme/

I have a newspaper theme, have been using for a few years for my website with no issue until sometime in January. Initially the main site was down for a day or so. While the display on the desktop has no issue now, a malware is acting on a mobile device. Anytime anyone visits the website from any mobile device, the redirect hacking malware becomes active. I checked this issue with my hosting company and I even hired a professional to work on. Both are pointing out it’s related to td composer. My jetpack scan results also indicates td composer as a threat. In fact, once I deactivate td composer plugin, the issue is resolved (no more redirect on mobile) but the landing page gets broken of course. My hosting company suggested that I should consult with the the theme developer. I don’t know what to do. Would you please help me? https://eyeonsligocreek.com/

Hi, 4 questions in brief

https://horrortape.com
1- I use a theme Video News PRO
https://prnt.sc/u7VZwt65cNkO
I want to change the background color of the entire website to black or shades of black
I tried to change the color but the top image is cut off

You must be kidding!

2- I want to modify the video section into two interconnected sections, on the left are the titles and on the right the video appears like this https://prnt.sc/aWx9_IMUPzQX
see here https://foxiz.themeruby.com/spotlight/

3-I tried to change the top red color on the phone to black and it does not change https://prnt.sc/F1AiGOaFjEOp

4-How can I reduce the logo or what is the appropriate size and change the logo from mobile such as desktop? When following the documents, the last step does not appear as in the steps of the documents.

Thanks

I have installed both plugins required for the AMP mobile theme to work.

I am primarily concerned about the following –
how can tweak the mobile amp page of the home page that is auto-generated.
For example how can I remove the burger menu in the menu in the amp mobile version of the home page.
Page URL testing site
https://staging-5416-newspatron.wpcomstaging.com/?amp
Screenshot
here is a link to screenshot for mobile menu
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VKaIacwfc69Fothmfb2pGs6ugpjwljKj/view?usp=sharing
Ideally for the mobile amp home page I would ideally prefer a menu similar to something that is similar to the home page menu(non amp) or webversion. OR menu that has blocks something that looks similar to the social menu at the footer. OR the menu below the social footer. please see screenshot.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uJDgiNNWYfIGow6-sWTsSEP4NYhxW50H/view?usp=sharing

To be precise I am considering replacing the burger menu as it looks clutter when clicked due to the large number of elements involved.
Please let me know about this so that I can proceed with the live changes.

Hello again,

Please, I need help with the mobile menu. The problem is when I click on the button, the link is correct but there is no data (no text, no images). I asked you about this before, and you told me about the mobile editor. How can I use it and where can I find that mobile editor? All the links work correctly except for the link on the menu. The redirection to the correct pages works, but there is only the title as shown in the screenshot in the link below:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1l-SAIl-QuOWMAxGNETaAMAVCKIgLpHuF?usp=sharing
I would like to work with the mobile version and not the responsive version
Thank you.

Hello @sotirisa!

We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.

Thank you!
