I don’t use Mobile Theme tagDiv. I don’t like the settings. I use the default theme and the problem was solved yesterday but I didn’t understand why. Today it happened again. Advertising is displayed on the phones is not correct. On the computer everything works fine

Unfortunately we have not tested this so we cannot say for sure if the mobile theme woks with network activation. I will add this on our list for further investigating. At the moment the mobile theme is in it’s first ever version so there are flaws and incompatibilities, but they will get fixed with upcoming updates. It is not a mandatory plugin so if you have trouble using it, you can simply deactivate it and use the standard responsive version of the theme. Activation problems with the mobile theme is most of the times related to plugin conflicts so please try to deactivate the other plugins first and try to activate the mobile theme without them.

Case: I am using the mega menu for categories on this website. The mobile version works fine. However, the mobile version is showings problems. On the mobile version the mega menu is not clickable.
Normal menu items are clickable, only the mega menu is not working properly. In the menu settings I use # for the link.
Can you guys help me out?

Please update your theme to the latest version by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and then update your plugins including visual composer, rev slider if you use it, and the social counter plugin. Please note that newspaper 7 comes with an optional mobile theme plugin that if used changes the style of the mobile version of your site. You can find more details about this here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Also please note that visual composer and rev slider added registration messages in the newer version that must be ignored as the free versions cannot be registered.

Unfortunately the mobile theme plugin is not compatible with all plugins. it is a new project and we have not added any compatibility with any plugins to it yet. Not even the theme tested ones. if you need those plugins and they work with the main theme then simply disable the mobile theme and use the standard responsive version of the theme as the plugin is optional and not a requirement for the theme.

If you do not like the mobile theme and want to have the same content on mobile as you have on desktop, simply disable the plugin as it’s optional, not required.

Hi,
you need to press the back-end editor in order to get the visual composer working. If you use the mobile theme you will see a white part first but you need to scroll down a bit as that white part is the mobile editor.

Unfortunately at the moment the mobile theme will not work with shortcodes. The responsive version will work properly. Just disable the mobile theme and clear all caches and the form will show up. The mobile theme will get updates in the future which will allow certain shortcodes to be used but for the moment you will have to either not use shortcodes on mobile or disable the mobile theme.

The Mobile theme is not working if I network activate the plugin. The only solution I found that I have activated individually on each network site.If by mistake I network activate the plugin stops working, I need to uninstall and install again. Please look into the issue in the next release. I hope I get solution for this.

I configured to get Sign in / join link on the top bar. It works perfectly on Desktop but my convern is that when browsing on mobile the top bar is not visible so my users can’t login …
How can I solve this problem ?

I installed the new upgrade but now I’m getting the mobile menu showing up on top of the main content along with a search bar. Also, my Logo title is showing up but I have a Logo image already in place. And also the block I’m using is now showing up in one column instead of two as before.. Please let me know where I can change this or what code to change.Thanks.
Guys, I am very frustrated.
The plugin mentioned above doesn’t work at newspaper neither with optimize press nor with profit builder nor without the two babes.
Sometimes there is an error because of the incompatability, sometimes not.

Hi,
I am having a problem with mobile theme. Features images are not showing for some of the posts and are displayed normally for other posts.
Thry are all visible on desktop and on mobile if I disable mobile theme.
Can’t find any reason for that. I have tried clearing cache and adding a different image but does not help.
Is there something I am missing?

1) Footer on mobile and desktop is different, it loads a different kind of footer. How it’s possible?
2) The homepage on mobile doesn’t load the sidebar on bottom
3) We loaded a custom font. On desktop is loading fine but on mobile is not working.

‘Trending now’ is visible on mobile phones in our theme as you can see on our demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ This is not the case if you use the mobile theme. The mobile theme does not use visual composer and trending now and other VC elements will not work with it. You can read more on the mobile theme here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then delete the current social counter from the plugins section (delete files) and then install it again from here: http://screencast.com/t/HeuWIAsEtn
As for the mobile theme, please read this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you do not like the mobile theme layout, you can always disable it as it’s an optional plugin. you will still have a responsive version of the website that works properly on all devices.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such a simple option that offers you a way to add the sidebar to the mobile theme, sorry! If you want to add some options in theme and you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
