Dear Catalin,
Let me see if I understand correctly.
I am not referring here to the mobile bar but to the size of the logo…how is it that the “Newspaper Fashion” logo is not visible properly in the mobile size? Only part of the logo is visible in mobile version? Is that the style of the theme?
In my opinion, it should display the mobile logo instead of the desktop logo—just my suggestion.
I still think that for header style 9 and above, the theme must display mobile logo because otherwise the logo may not be seen fully on mobile screens.
Thanks!
Manoj
Latest Newsmag Theme 2.36
Post template: Style 3
Example can be found at http://tweetperth.com.au/thirsty-top-beer-spots-in-perth-9103
In the post I have made the first image within the post full-width, which works on desktop having the image go take up 100% of the colum width, however on mobile it still leaves padding on the left and right of the image.
This was tested using chrome on iOS. Also testing on Safari I just realised that not images throughout the site load on Safari iOs, I am assuming this could be a plugin issue?
Hell guys I have an URGENT issues on an live post.

The Gallery don´t show the full images in Gallery on Desktop Versio and on mobile no images are shown at all.

Hello tollywoodfans,
I have checked your website again and I saw that your mobile menu is working fine now. Please noticed that we cannot provide support for custom modifications, modifying the js files or other changes through code. Please notice that we can only guide/recommend you the right direction. If you want to display more levels in our theme and you need more technical support for your custom modifications, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello manojkhatri,
Please keep in mind that is not an issue in our demo preview. So, this is the style of the theme. As you can see in our demo, the mobile bar have to appear after the logo and not inline with your logo. As I noticed on your website, you have some additional customizations that change the original style of the theme.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi Bogdan,
look here with iPad: http://www.duesseldorfpanther.de
If the first level has sub items, it is not working on iPads. iPhone and desktop working fine.
I try to create individual items with an # after the “/site/#” No way.
A work around for me is to display the mobile (burger menu) on iPads (horizontal and vertices). Maybe it’s possible.
Regards
Manfred
Hello T2N,
Please notice that our Background Click Ad behaves like a normal background-image with the desired URL as a click. Please check the Background section from Theme panel->Background section, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/FSgAw8rsX and from there you can set the position of your background. For more information about this feature, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-ad/
Also, as you can see, the background is not displayed to mobile devices because the display is too short to show the background and I do not understand why you want to hide this option for mobile devices.
If is not what you mean, please provide more details about what you want to achieve. Also, please provide some useful screenshot so I can understand what you mean and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thank you for the message!
Hi
You can make the icons background-color white using this css: http://screencast.com/t/oOSao1VCu
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-mobile-content .td-header-sp-top-widget{
width: 100%;
}
.td-header-sp-top-widget {
right: 0px;
}
.td-social-icon-wrap > a{
margin-right: 10px!important
}
}
Thanks!
Hi,
Thank you for your kind words and appreciation.
1) Thank you for pointing this out. There seems to be a problem with the alignment on mobile. You can use this custom css to fix it and i will add this to our bug list and fix it in the next version of the theme:
@media(max-width:767px){
.td-social-style-2 .td-social-icon-wrap{
margin: 5px 5px!important;
}
}
2) I’m not sure how your plugin ads the separator to but this is just a symbol and it should not affect anything. The plugin you use is not tested so I cannot say for sure if it will work properly. The plugin we recommend for seo is SEO YOAST as it is tested and works properly with our theme. (It will also control the separators.)
Thank you!
Catalin,
I can see the problem that I have described even on the demo page of tagdiv
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_fashion/
Check this in mobile size and you will see that the header logo doesn’t resize to fit mobile—in fact is spilling out of the screen. This is the problem in header styles 9, 10, 11 and 12.
Ideally, for mobile, the header should take the mobile size.
I would suggest that it be corrected in the upcoming update.
Thanks.
Hi Andrei,
Thank you for taking care of this and it did work properly. Is there a way to get it to look exactly like it does in the image I provided, but just not warped? I was able to change the background color to white, however it seems the Facebook icon on the far left of the mobile menu is cut off.
I’m trying to enlarge the icons so they are flush across the bottom, with the same color background as the picture. If you can help me mimic the bottom image without the icons being warped I’d greatly appreciate it. This is how far I have gotten. http://i.imgur.com/sjj0oyq.png
I did not removed the mobile logo, for header style 6(and others) it is not necessary – http://screencast.com/t/AyXuuO8pQYmi
On the newsmag theme you can select image class to be full-width within a post, which will then work on desktop, however when the post is viewed on mobile there is still padding around the image.
I was wondering if there was a way to have images go full-width on mobile aswell so that there is no blank spaces to the left and right of the image on the screen.
Cheers
Adam

I am launching a new site soon but am worried about the SEO implications (after reading this thread). Do you guys have a time line for the next release with the SEO improvements? I absolutely love this theme, but don’t want to launch the site until them improvements are implemented. Is it a long way off?
Also, I’ve been reading a lot about Schema(schema.org) and its growing usage in Search engines. It’s likely to be Google’s next focus after speed and mobile. Do you have any plans to incorporate schema into the Newspaper template? I ran your demo site and my own test site using your theme on http://seositecheckup.com/ and my old site (with an older, much less impressive theme) still ranked much higher in SEO than both.
PS – Not trying to be negative. This theme completely blows any other news related theme out of the water! Absolutely love it on multiple levels 🙂
Hi there,
First of all I must confess that this is one of the best themes I’ve come across and it has completely transformed my website to something special. 😀
1.) I have added social icons which are about 2 rows in the footer. On the desktop they look perfectly neat, however on the mobile, the two rows of the social icons seem to be slightly not in line. Kindly check the below URL on the mobile.
2.) I am using SEO ultimate as my SEO plugin. In my previous theme and also in Google search results the Title separator was being used as ‘<<‘ . However in my new site the Title separator has become Pipe i.e ‘|’. Just curious to know where it is coming from. Also even if I don’t change it would it really make a difference?
Thanks,
Prasenjit.
It was not yet centralized. I do not know if I understood well. I put the custom CSS and stayed that way
/* INICIO Mostrar TOP Menu Mobile */
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu-full {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
display:block!important;
}
.td-header-sp-top-menu{
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
display:block!important;
}
.td-header-sp-top-widget{
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
display:none!important;
}
}
/* FIM Mostrar Menu Mobile */
Hello Manfred,
1) Unfortunately the mega-menu was not designed to work on the mobile version. The menus are different and the mega-menu cannot work on the mobile menu.
2) The login widget cannot be added in the main menu so easy especially in the mobile version, but it can be activated in the top menu. Please provide a link to your site so I can provide the p[roper css code to have it display on mobile.
Thank you!
Hi
When I set “full post width” it displays well in desktop but in mobile devices it always shows very short formats in height… I need it to be centered in desktop and with square style in mobile devices. If float right or float left is selected it shows well in mobile devices but not centered in desktop.
This is very important for me to maintain a competitive CTR.
What css code could include to solve this?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English.
Hi
@TheRiz The code provided by Catalin works fine but the alignment also depends by mobile devices width. There might be necessary a custom rule for a specific width in order to achieve the desired rezult.
@pedroarmindo1 please address us in English next time as we don’t speak Portuguese and it’s hard to understand your requests.
The top menu wasn’t designed to be displayed on mobile devices so usually it’s necessary a custom code depending by top menu layout.
Thanks!

Hi guys,
1. Use mega menu in main menu (works fine). Unfortunately in mobile menu is only the link visible, not the content. My settings: custom link + URL is # + category is mega menu. Whats my error?
2. Is there any way to change in mobile device – instead the search icon > the sign in icon?
Many thanks for supporting, Manfred
I want to use ad on mobile after the logo bar how to create this?
Obrigado, eu estava procurando por isso. Mas essa informação deveria estar mais facil de se encontrar. Imagino quantas pessoas ja pediram para o Top Menu aparecer no Mobile.
Hi
I’ve checked your code and noticed that you’re using some wrong classes for tabled and mobile devices, that’s why ads appear three times on the page. Please check our documentation regarding banner ads usage: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-using-other-ads/ clear all caches then test again.
Thanks!
I read the thread with interest. As a user of Newspaper and having seen it doing great, I want to say a couple of things from my perspective:
1) What TechRanker says makes sense to me. Also, he is not defaming Newspaper
2) Chris knows well what he is talking about
It would be good for the Theme authors to add a few lines of harmless codes if that matters to some well-meaning users, who also know what they are talking about and are talking from their experience.
For a website like ours every small issue counts when it comes to ranking high on search engines. One thing I did notice when I switched to Newspaper is that the page views immediately after publishing a post dropped to almost half. It may not be the theme causing it as Google may have hard time indexing new page structure, or whatever, but yes, I did notice an initial drop. The page views go up quickly after I share them on social medias. Somehow the good news is, our Alexa global rank is soaring high organically as if we paid for it :-). I believe our new hosting, Newspaper theme, our new mobile app, SEO alertness and on top of all, our insightful content played a role in it.
So yes, Newspaper is undoubtedly an awesome theme but as everyone else in this world, TagDiv also can do better. I think they work really hard to bring their clients maximum satisfaction. Keep up the good work, friends!
