Hi, thanks for quick reply.

We have enabled caching for mobile devices in WP Rocket plugin and yes we use mobile page templates that is included in Tag Div Cloud composer, but still we have inconvenience with loading mobile template on larger screens (as described in first massage).
Now we disable cache for mobile and its better now, but is there something that we can do to enable caching for mob? What do you recommend should we change caching plugin?

Best regards

Hello @ranggaandriana!

Please make sure you delete the cache. If the problem is still there and you set up the mobile page correctly as here: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/, then deactivate the cache plugin that you use, and try again in an incognito tab.

Thank you!

Hello!

There is a toggle and you can choose to enable/disable Mobile Theme while you edit a page/post normally in Gutenberg or Classic Editor: https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/

Thank you!

Hello,

You can change the icon for the mobile menu -> https://i.imgur.com/fUAHdsn.png with tagDiv Composer, select the viewport on the phone.
Also, for the menu, you can set the icons that’s how it is in this demo -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_magazine_pro/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-add-icons-in-menu/

Thank you!

Hello @fdellanna@ideacreativa.eu,

As my colleague said, it looks like you have a mobile theme plugin enabled. so if you want to have the same footer and header as on the homepage, then disable the mobile theme plugin and after that, there should be no more problems.
In case there are any more questions, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and you can write to us here.

Thank you!

I see, so you want to use the mobile theme with the Advanced Ads Plugin.
I think that first you should enable the google fonts for the mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/uDAzbZs.png to have the same style for fonts, after that you need to use a custom css for the Call To Action Banner -> https://i.imgur.com/H387Yje.png
.tdm_block_call_to_action {
display: inline-block;
margin-bottom: 32px;
}
.tdm_block_call_to_action .tds-button a {
display: block;
}

Set this code in the theme panel > mobile theme> custom code> css.
I hope this will help you!

so..in the categories I would like the same header and footer as the home page, even from mobile and everywhere. How can I do?

thanks

Ok, you’re not helping me with the answer. The same problem has been going on for days without resolution.

So … At the time of using MOBILE as a configuration. How can I change the layout of the individual categories? From mobile only home pages are displayed correctly, while the categories have another configuration that I cannot change. How can I do?

Hello,

I think you referring to having a menu like this https://i.imgur.com/AEDMmqf.png
Please edit the mobile version (responsive or mobile page) select the row and set the layout to 1/3 + 1/3+1/3 and set the width of the column like in this video https://www.screencast.com/t/xMSF1ACLU and after you can add the elements in columns.

Thank you!

Hello @fdellanna@ideacreativa.eu!

It seems that you use Mobile Theme plugin. The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
If you deactivate the Mobile Theme plugin from Dashboard -> Plugins, then it will load your responsive version automatically(different layout than now, similar as desktop).

Thank you!

Hi. I have reinstalled the Mobile Theme plugin, i don’t have a caching plugin and it didn’t help. Also, all the modifications i do to my website are in incognito mode to be sure there is no cache.

Hi,Hi,
A thousand thanks! Done but from mobile the other pages (attulità, sindacato, etc..) have different layout, different header and different footer, why?

Hi. Standard Pack plugin is installed and i have the latest version of the theme and plugins, but it doesn’t help.
Also, my client told me last evening about another error. Whenever i click on any author from About Us page, it shows a 404 error. This happens when the tagDiv Mobile plugin is activated. If i deactivate the plugin, the author’s page works fine.

Hi AhmadiKatu,
Usually, this situation appear when you are using the mobile theme plugin and the cache plugin that you are using do not have mobile cache support (or is not enabled).
We recommend to use the WP Super Cache with those settings https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ -> https://i.imgur.com/pPzH3D4.png
I hope this will help you!

Hi Assia75,
I think that your website is this one http://www.livinginashoebox.com/
I see that the auto scrolling is working on desktop, but on mobile you are no longer using the responsive version of desktop, you are using now the mobile theme plugin and that it is way the auto scrolling is no longer working because the mobile theme plugin do not have this option.
Just disable the mobile theme plugin or use it only for amp.
This should fix the problem.
Let me know the results!

Hello,

If you no longer want to use mobile templates, then you need to set No mobile template/page -> https://i.imgur.com/eB0TUX9.png
Also, if you want to use the mobile version, you need to select the viewport on the phone to design it.

Thank you!

Hi,
Normally, if the mobile cache support is enabled, then should be no problems.
Also, if you want to have different ads on mobile, then you can use the mobile page template(this is using the tagDiv composer) or the mobile theme plugin (this is using theme panel settings).
If you want you can check our video tutorial -> Let’s go Mobile! Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates.
For pagespeed, please try our guide -> How to Make the Site Faster
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
