Thank you. Now it’s fine but only when I click on the “Exit mobile version”. How do I make this the default page?
Lastly, how do I edit the mobile footer/header? I tried installing a template from the cloud header/footer template, but on the mobile composer I only have the option to choose a home page template.

Hello @theasiandigest!

Please note that the auto ads code must be placed in Theme Panel -> Analytics/Js Codes.
If you use Mobile theme + AMP, then try to place the ads in AMP ads/AMP Analytics.

Hope that helps you!

Thank you!

I finished setting up the desktop site but was unable to get the mobile site to work like the demo. I read the guide a few times and I think I tried everything. Right now, my mobile page looks like this: https://youtu.be/fV8vGfKIVvU
The way I would like it to look would be like in the demo: https://youtu.be/3w5wlsMQX6s
On the composer, it appears just like in the demo but when viewed from the mobile device it looks like in video 1.
I would appreciate any help you can provide. A video tutorial would be great.

The ads on my homepage are appearing but when it comes to posts not a single ad seems to be appearing. Google Adsense is showing the stats for AMP but on my mobile, it doesn’t seem to be appearing. Please help.

Pasted auto ads code via header and footer plugin which causes no issue with AMP. Also, pasted manual AMP ads through Ad inserted which supports AMP ads. Still ads aren’t appearing.

Hello @zatyshnyy!

If you mean page speed, then you need to take into account:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors.
Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update.
Other starting points to improve your website page speed are here:

Please check the tutorials from those platforms gt metrix and Google Pagespeed Insights and I’m sure you can increase the page speed.

Thank you for understanding!

Sorry, my question was not clear. I mean how can I change the look of the icon for the mobile menu only? The mobile menu has a dark brackground and therefore black is not a good choice. I want to make it white for mobile menu only, and also increase the size.

This is my website:

I have deactivated the mobile plugin but the problem exists. Same mobile design with a lot of bugs.

Do I need to delete the plugin after deactivating it?

Hello,

Please provide the link to your website.
Normally the code should work, also, for mobile.

Thank you!

Hello @stroudtimes!

Google Chrome, Mozzila, Safari, Edge are the browser is working great with Facebook too.
To change the browser to your default browser, on Android mobile apps, tap the Facebook menu icon in the top right, scroll down to Settings & Privacy, tap Settings then scroll down to Media & Contacts, tap and then enable the Links open externally option. That’s it. In future when you try to open a link, Facebook will use your default browser.

Thank you!

I have set up my Font Awesome successfully in the main menu by changing the color like this:

.fa-home {
color: #000000
}
.fa-home:hover {
color: #266fef;
}

This custom CSS works well for the main menu. However, it does NOT work for the mobile menu.

Question: How do I apply these changes to the mobile menu?

Here is the screen video: https://we.tl/t-mu9huChj2H
It shows that FLEX BLOCK 5 is set to display LAST from ALL CATEGORIES.

But it does not show last post.

You can see the last file on the top of posts list in admin.

Alternatively, I tried to set FEATURED for this block, but again it does not show the latest FEATURED articles.

See both attempt: https://we.tl/t-mu9huChj2H

P.S. as for the Mobile Temlate. I know that I should disable it, please let me know how.

How to deactivate a mobile theme?
I don’t want to allow users to switch to mobile theme.
I prefer to have a responsible website only.

Hi Calin!

Thanks! That’s what I needed. But this code also affects the mobile version. Would be very thankful if you fixed the code so that it only changed the desktop version.

Hello @accnews!

If you use the sort order featured and a category, then it will display the featured posts from that category. So, in this case, you do not need the ajax dropdown. Ajax category dropdown is for displaying that menu in the block’s header.
Could you please provide an example with those settings applied, screenshot or a video?

Please make sure you do not use the mobile theme plugin.

Thank you!

The Mobile version in iPhone is showing a different design (NOT newspaper theme – looks like native WordPress or damaged) than one in Desctop/mobile simulator. See images: https://ibb.co/wsQdQ3Q
Newspaper theme article design looks different see here: https://ibb.co/vv8MZsg

How to fix?

Hi,
The problem I mentioned is exactly the same one you mentioned. FLEX filter does not filter the content in this section. Even when a selected feature, articles are not appearing from this category.

I tried the LATEST post filter as well, but it does not arrange articles according to this filter.

Is the Ajax filter option necessary to show Featured or Latest posts?

and second issue:

Hi,

Over the past few days, we have noticed that our pages are displaying incorrectly on both Facebook and Instagram’s in-app browsers when opening links to our site Stroud Times

Our mobile pages are loading fine in browsers: https://ibb.co/WGq60mh
But when opened from within a Facebook or Instagram app they appear as such: https://ibb.co/txvRQJY

What’s weird about this is nothing has been changed recently in terms of plugins or caching it’s just started happening. I have already tried disabling plugins, clearing the cache on both plugin server and browser.

I wondered if tagDiv might have any suggestions as to what may be causing this?

Hello @nitu18122015!

I’ve checked your website and it seems to work well and that you use a responsive version of your desktop on mobile. We have 3 options of mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version(which you have it already): A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there. Also, you can build your header for mobile there with different logo for example.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/

A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
You can choose to use which one is more affordable and useful for you.

Thank you!

Logo is coming in distorted form when we change the google chrome browser setting from mobile to deaktop view.
In desktop view, logo should be desktop version and in mobile view, logo should be mobile version.
This problem persists in laptop and mobile phone but not on desktop computer.
