I am very new to this designing and do not know anything about this coding stuff. my website is displaying properly on my mobile phone version but on the desktop version the header bar does not display properly. Same with iPad version as well. Please help
Hi,
Unfortunately this can not be done on the same element because the option is not responsive, only options with a bar in front are responsive, like this one – https://i.imgur.com/0YslEhX.png
Now what you can do is to use a mobile page template – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ when you’ll have the possibility to create and adjust mobile elements separate by desktop.
Thank you!
Hi,
When using the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin, website layout will be changed and specially pages need to be recreated in the mobile editor. This applies specifically to pages, as you can see in the following links: https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
– https://imgur.com/FqDJw8V
This is how the tagDiv Mobile Theme is designed to function, it doesn’t use any builder and is no longer the same as desktop version.
If you prefer a responsive version of the site that mirrors the desktop content, you can simply disable the plugin, and everything will display the same as it does on desktop.
Thank you!
Hi,
I think that you are using mobile page and mobile page template and you have a different header for tablet and mobile, please edit the mobile page on homepage https://i.imgur.com/G6Hb92n.png select the tablet view port and adjust your header – https://i.imgur.com/8tygnC4.png
Thank you!
Hi,
If you’ll prefer the same design for mobile as for desktop, then please do not use the mobile theme plugin, this will change the layout and for pages it will also need to create new content using only the mobile editor. You can check more about this in our guide from here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Dear, due to Core Web Vital LCP issue, I was trying to set PC and Mobile size differently at tagDiv composer.
However, it seems setting post feature image size, PC and Mobile View differently is not working but only applies 1 fixed sized for both PC and mobile. Please advis3 if there is a way I can set PC and Mobile View featured image size differently.
I would want PC for 696*0 Default https://prnt.sc/TILQTNFvKJSk but set differently for mobile featured image size smaller https://prnt.sc/XHVtw9I1kbMJ However, it only apples to the lasst image size I set for all devices.
Thanks always and look forward to hearing.
Good evening, I wasted hours and hours reading documentation and looking for a solution and I saw that this plugin tagDiv Mobile Theme, which promises to bring fast and light pages, is defective. I try to put the theme that I use on my website when I go to edit everything is fine, this beautiful theme with a blue header appears, I pulled it via cloud, in the Mobile Theme edition you can see everything is fine, everything is perfect, look, https://ibb.co/cKVCbWMb
The problem is now, I go to access it from my cell phone, to my surprise this theme appears with a black header and totally different from the header and the chosen theme, look at this. https://ibb.co/PB9jXkC
this big defect or bug in the plugin tagDiv Mobile Theme. Is there a solution?? I spent hours and hours trying to solve this.
I don’t have signed up for support, I never asked for help from support, because when I bought it I didn’t even manage to set up the website, after years I’ve been trying to set it up, but it’s difficult, every time it’s a different problem.
I ask for a solution for this?/
Hello Support,
I recently discovered that the header on my website displays differently on tablets compared to desktop and mobile devices.
On desktop and mobile, I have customized the header and everything looks as expected.
However, on tablet, the header layout is inconsistent — it doesn’t match either the desktop or the mobile version.
Ideally, I would like the tablet header to follow either the desktop version or the mobile version.
Could you please help me fix this or guide me on how to unify the tablet header display?
Best regards,
Vunt
I see something strange in my site https://shippingandfreightresource.com.. When I DISABLE Mobile Theme for Newspaper, the site looks and behaves ok on MOBILE.. But when I activate Mobile Theme, sometimes it works and shows https://shippingandfreightresource.com/about which is the default home page but sometimes it goes to the “articles” page and keeps redirecting to the articles page even if I select the About page on its own from the menu..
Then when I go to https://www.shippingandfreightresource.com/hariesh-manaadiar/ – the mobile shows a blank content page but has the footer.. When I do this, the menu background and colors seem different..
Am not sure what’s happening.. Any suggestions..??
Right now for sake of my sanity I have disabled the mobile theme..
Hello Support,
I have successfully set up the sticky header for mobile devices. Now, I would like to have a similar sticky header for desktop view. Although I have checked the option to enable sticky for desktop, it doesn’t seem to work — the header does not stay sticky when I view the site on a desktop browser.
I have attached a screenshot showing my current settings.
Could you please guide me on how to make the sticky header work properly on desktop?

Thanks

Hi Calin,
I tried that, but it didn’t work. I then saw there was another JS file called tdMenu.js and this was the one that needed to be excluded, and now I have caching and the mobile menu works.
regards,
David
Hi Vunt,
Yes, the steps you made are correct, to have a different version on mobile you need to have a different content on it so it is used a different page to hold that content – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
The Homepage will be the main page and the Homepage – mobile (that is the mobile page and appears in google results because it is indexed, but will be used only when mobile devices are used).
Thank you!
Hi,
First thing will be to check the website on your browser in incognito to see if the ads are display. It is possible to have an ad blocker extension on your browser and this will prevent you to see the ads, but on a real mobile were this is not installed the ads will be display.
Normally the ads can be removed using tagDiv Composer, editing the page and cloud templates, then removing the ad box elements (use right click on theme and select the delete option) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/
Thank you!
Hi,
Do you use the responsive version for your website? If not, then please make sure that the cache plugin you are using has mobile cache support.
Also, it is possible that the problem was resolved when you updated the article and in that moment the cache has been cleared on that article.
Thank you!
Hello Support,
I’m using the Newspaper theme with the Default PRO as the base for my website. I have been using the tagDiv Cloud Templates to design and present the site content.
During the design process, I focused on building the layout primarily for desktop (PC). When previewing the site on mobile and tablet devices, I noticed that the website already displays quite well, thanks to the responsive capabilities of the Newspaper theme.
As I approached the final stages of building the site, I went to Dashboard > Cloud Templates > Edit Homepage and selected “Create mobile template” within the tagDiv Composer. After successfully creating the mobile version, I saw that the Mobile Template column now shows “Yes”.
I then edited the template using the “Edit mobile page” option, and I was able to customize the mobile layout separately from the desktop version. Now, my homepage appears differently on PC and mobile, as I intended.
My question is:
Is this the correct way to approach mobile optimization using the Newspaper theme?
I’m asking this because when searching on Google, I noticed that two results appear: one with the title “Homepage”, and the other as “Homepage – mobile”.
Thanks
Vunt
Dear tagDiv Support Team,
I would like to ask for your help regarding a customization for the Header Login module in the Newspaper Theme (please see attached screenshot for reference).
Issue:
On both the mobile and desktop versions of my website, when a logged-in user clicks on their profile name or avatar in the header (Header Login module), they are redirected to the author archive page (e.g., /author/username).
However, I would like to change this behavior so that clicking the name or avatar always takes the user to their general account dashboard at /fiokom (their “My office” page), instead of the author page.
Question:
How can I configure this in the Newspaper Theme, either in the theme options or with a recommended code snippet, so that both on mobile and desktop, the profile link in the header always leads to /fiokom for logged-in users?
Best regards,
Peter

Hi my clients alerted me to the fact that some news posts on my site mediashotz.co.uk were not looking like they normally do.
The featured image on the desktop view was huge and took up the whole page and actually kind of looked like an enlarged mobile view instead.
I couldn’t think what was wrong until I removed the featured image and then replaced it, which seemed to work, but we don’t know why this has started happening and new have loads of extra work to check if all is okay after posting, which we do loads a times a day as a news site. Can someone explain why this has happened?
I don’t use cache at all i deactivate…

Hi,
The demo you have installed used for mobile menu a popup element that has attached a page, so you’ll need to edit that page – https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/ to see the age id or to open the page that is used, select the mobile view port in composer, and click on mobile menu, then you can click on edit link and this will open the page that is contain the mobile menu page – https://i.imgur.com/8AQt3zL.png
I hope this will help you!
Hi Vunt,
First please make sure that you are using a cache plugin that support to create different cache for mobile version only then you can use the mobile theme plugin, or mobile page templates without having problems. Next step will be to make sure you have done as much optimizations you can, for example, use small thumbs for mobile version, do not use many elements and blocks, do not load the desktop header on mobile – https://i.imgur.com/hjJSsZd.png
Using tagDiv Mobile theme plugin can help with the speed, but the mobile version will be totally different and the option to edit is very limited, you can check more in our guides – https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ so in case that you want to have a layout similar with the desktop one or the same elements as on desktop, then do not use the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
Thanks for providing the link to your website.
I just checked the page speed results and this are very good – https://i.imgur.com/5N0NtMN.png – https://i.imgur.com/muanMSO.png what you can do are small adjacence for mobile version, so here are the improvements that can be done:
Accessibility: change the H from H3 to div or to H3 for article recent and adjust the contrast color for date element – https://i.imgur.com/1QwicV5.png – https://i.imgur.com/BW4xfma.png
Image elements do not have explicit width and height, this one is referring to logo, make sure that the logo is set directly on the logo element like this – https://i.imgur.com/2Jc873Q.png (check it for bot header and footer logo elements).
My last suggestion is to use an image plugin that is automatically converting the images in webp format https://i.imgur.com/DnYb79v.png
This should help you to improve most f what has been left.
Thank you!
How to edit logo and button on mobile menu overlay

Hello Support,
I’m using the Newspaper theme and selected the Default PRO template for building my website. During the development phase, I tested it on both PC and mobile and found the mobile responsiveness to be very fast.
As the release date approached, I created mobile template base on Cloud Template and edited the mobile template, mainly the Header and Footer, so that they display differently from the PC version.
However, when accessing the website on a phone or tablet, the response feels noticeably slower.
Should i install tagDiv Mobile Theme?
Please take a look and assist me.
Best Regards,
Vunt
Hello,
Thanks for the answer, this is the website: https://mobilehub.ro/
I tried to make everything as simple as possible, without using Google fonts but the standard ones, and I configured litespeed carefully.
