Hello!

For cloud templates, you will have more options in TagDiv Composer, so these settings overwrite the settings from Theme Panel. If you let the settings by default in TagDiv Composer, then the settings from Theme Panel will reflect on your website.

In order to edit your responsive version, you need edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.

If you want to use a mobile page, then you need to assign it to your homepage. For more information about this mobile version please take a look in this article: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Hi, I run into the exact same issue. When hiding the slider on desktop and displaying it on mobile it will make the desktop site unresponsive. This is only when the slider is set to autoplay. Is there a fix available?

Hello!

One thing that you need to know before is that mobile pages which you use is not compatible with AMP at the moment.
Unfortunately, AMP is faster and works better only with Mobile Theme, because it is not compatible with cloud templates.
From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit from AMP.
Check our documentation about this plugin here:

Whenever I am using Theme panel to do changes, it is not reflecting on the desktop website, I have to use the tagdiv composer to manually do the change.

Also, the changes made in the desktop is not reflecting in the mobile website. Kindly suggest.

Yes! there is a tool that helps you pass Google Core Web Vitals!
And your competitors already developed one.

Please Note! I’m not promoting your competition, I want you to beat your competition!
SOLEDAD theme by pencidesign on Envato, have developed a Tool that helps you PASS Google Core Web Vitals.
Have a look at it, and make one as well.
The tool generates CSS for POSTS CATEGORIES PAGES ARCHIVES and HOME.

You download their theme, install the SPEED Plugin + the TOOL on your PC.
And in 5 minutes you PASS Google Core Web Vitals with 96 on MOBILE and 99 on DESKTOP. It’s so simple!

So Instead of writing one million outdated instructions and suggesting 10 year old technology, like the non-responsive Mobile only themes, that I used 10 years ago…

Why can’t you develop a tool like that? Your tagdiv CSS Analyzer is useless!
Again! I’m not promoting their theme, I prefer the Newspaper design over SOLEDAD theme, but sure they know how to optimise for speed.

Don’t believe me ? Go try it yourself.

https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=en&url=https%3A%2F%2Fsoledad.pencidesign.net%2Fsoledad-magazine%2F&tab=mobile

Why can’t you develop a tool like that?

Googles PageSpeed used to have a 50-50 chance of either pulling desktop or mobile theme version of the site for both of its tests (desktop and mobile). But it would always use the same version in both tests. If it used the mobile version, both scores would be great, but if desktop, mobile score would suck.

But I’ve noticed lately it always tests only desktop site (meaning it pulls resposnive desktop site in mobile view instead of mobile theme). This is only a Google issue. It works fine for real mobile users.

Is there any way to force Googles PageSpeed to load mobile theme version of the site?

If any of it matters, I’m using vps, cloudflare, fvm, supercache, mobile theme, no standard pack, followed all your optimization guides.

Hi Bettina

Is this something you could take a look at please?

Alex replied yesterday but didn’t provide a fix. I emailed him back yesterday morning asking for an update but have had no reply.

It’s been almost one week now…

Also, I was asked to provide Vlad access to my Cpanel. I did this but have no idea if they have accessed it? Can I change the password back yet?

Please advise. The mobile theme works on my whole site just not the homepage. That’s all that needs fixing.

Regards
Sarah

Hi. I have a video at the top of the homepage and when I load it on other devices, it won’t resize. It just cuts off what can’t be shown on that device.

I can I make it responsive for mobiles?

I’ve been using your theme in 3 of my websites. But now I found that pagination don’t work. Every page 2+ shows only the first page in desktop. In mobile it works good.
Here’s example category page (the slug is word “temat”): https://abckota.pl/temat/zdrowie/

Hello!

On the Mobile Theme plugin you will have to add your content in the Mobile editor too as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/fdEgzuxWU

Hello,

For the menu, seems you implement a custom code => https://www.screencast.com/t/RQhP1GoV, and is possible to interfere with our theme implementation if you want to have the design menu, you can use the element mobile menu => https://www.screencast.com/t/5uHLzBFw, and you can design it with some code CSS to open like now.
You can find the text in this path wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_wp_booster_functions.php => https://i.imgur.com/e8dxMmz.png

For mobile theme the font settings are located in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme. Please check if the setting from theme panel are saving.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:

Our team will take a look!

Hi,

on our website continuously certain parts are getting auto changed. We have got our partner widget placed after the “events” slider. But from time to time this is automatically getting changed. It will be sorted on the bottom of the website. We then have to edit the mobile page and re-save a couple of times until it gets placed on the top part again…

Hi,

I have set amp and mobile theme as directed. The live CSS window has gone, but the amp version still has no pics and garbled on my laptop in all browsers. The minute I add ?amp on my website this is what happens.
