Hi,
Unfortunately for the moment there are not many options for amp version, please check our documentation for How to Make an AMP Ready Website with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Also please check our documentation for Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
The mobile theme is a plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se
I think that you are referring to those 3 blocks, for those you’ll need to have set seam feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4
You’ll need to add some post in feature category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ if you do not have this category you can create it, just make sure that you set the category name to be
Featured
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
From what I can see there are problems with the mobile theme and AMP on your website. The desktop version seems to display the mobile version – http://prntscr.com/n5tsfj
The AMP version is not displaying properly – http://prntscr.com/n5tsme
I would suggest as a first step to clear the cache then deactivate the caching plugin temporarily. Then check if the problem is solved.
In most cases such as this one the problem was caused by caching plugins, the mobile theme is sensitive in this regard. We recommend if possible to use the WP super cache with these settings

Hi,
I have updated to 9.6.1 and have been trying to get it to work for the last two days.
I am not planning on using the mobile theme, and sadly the AMP just does not work.
I’ve already gotten multiple emails from Google telling me no pages have AMP anymore.
Your suggested caching plugin ‘WP Super Cache’ doesn’t seem to have the required persistent object caching that is recommended by the new AMP plugin itself.
My entire website now no longer has AMP and I’m very frustrated by this.

Please look into this and get a fix/update out ASAP.
This update has been disastrous and very frustrating.
Is there a way to roll back to an older version?

Hi,
I’ve created button on Multipurpose header, it work well on Desktop site.
But it’s not display on mobile responsive menu.
How can I fix it?
Hi,
Some share buttons like Whatssap are hide on desktop and show only on mobile.
In order to achieve all share buttons in post you can use some single post templates from tagDiv Cloud Library for example single post template 29 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/2nEWawCqLM will show all share buttons in one line ( all share buttons that are for desktop ).
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Please update the theme to the latest version of it which is NP 9.6.1 which allows you to use only the AMP, without installing the Mobile Theme. Also, check the documentation from here -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Hi
As I have said in my original post, the issue is with the Mobile Theme/AMP version, not with the Responsive version. Please see this: http://www.screencast.com/users/narinder912/folders/Default/media/c932f7fd-67bf-46c0-b00e-690b6e6bcb4c
I am using Mobile Theme only for AMP and so, please test any url of my website with AMP, then you will see it.
The problem is very much there.
Thanks.
Hi Guys,
I have a problem with the AMP post pages since the last update.
You can find the error messages with this post:
https://search.google.com/test/amp ->
https://zentrum-online.at/sommereinsatzbereitschaft-im-noe-strassendienst-wird-fortgesetzt/?amp
I use the settings: “Theme panel -> Mobile Theme -> USE MOBILE THEME FOR -> AMP”
And with the AMP plugin -> Template Mode -> Paired ” (default and can not be changed)
If I deactivate the mobile theme and set the “AMP plugin -> Template Mode -> Classic”, no error message is displayed on search.google.com/test/amp .
The problem is that the AMP classic version does not look very nice.
Your paired version looks very good and worked well before the update.
Please help me to fix the error messages.
Thank you!

Hi,
Please provide some more details for this problem and a link were I can inspect this problem; what banners do not work on mobile? also our theme do not need a plugin for ads ( also the Admanager plugin is not tested with our theme ); please check our documentation for ads and make sure that you set the ads/banners like in our examples -> https://www.screencast.com/t/tXYKp6Isni -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/
Thank you!
Twitter may do that, as long as there is an AMP version available they will serve it
– https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/publisher-tools/amp/overview.html
– https://searchengineland.com/twitter-ramps-amp-278300
– https://adage.com/article/digital/twitter-makes-major-implementation-moments-amp/303020/
If you want to disable AMP for the website, you could check some recommendations from some topics I found
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-properly-disable-google-amp-in-wordpress/
– https://kinsta.com/blog/disable-google-amp/
– https://gulshankumar.net/remove-amp/
If just the AMP plugin is used, the ads could be added as mentioned in the topics from above. Maybe there could be other ways, you could search more online for how to display ads with the official AMP plugin.
With the AMP and mobile theme there are ad spots in the mobile theme section, the ads will show on AMP. There are also AMP auto ads.
Or you could use a different AMP plugin entirely, depends on your needs and what you want to do.
I’ve got my homepage set up with a video background using the general settings within the [ROW] and the YOUTUBE ID is set accordingly, however, on mobile the background is appearing fine yet on a desktop the video is not showing.
You can visit the site here: http://miscellaneousproductions.ca/ to see what I’m talking about. The page itself will probably be just blank white as the navigation is coloured white etc. but due to there being no background video (as there was before – on desktop) you won’t be able to see anything other than a Donate button.
Any insight on this issue would be greatly appreciated as currently, I’m thinking of just setting up a static background with an image cause the video background has been super unreliable.
Hello, I Have a site created with Newspaper and suddenly random pages stop showing. Whether it’s homepage or any internal page or post. The site suddenly displays a very rudimentary mobile theme, even in desktop, without the real header or footer. the site is https://inmobiliaria.miquioscoweb.com. Any help will be more than welcome.
Hi!
I have the exact same problem that I´ve found in this topic:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-view-11/
If I use wpbakery to create a post, the mobile view has some padding that origins blank borders in left and right part of the article.
I tried to use the css code that Calin provided in the previous topic but didn’t work for me. Any suggestion about how to solve it? Website is http://www.vortexmag.net.
Thank You!
Sorry, can you show an example of how to create the mobile content version to get the same result which I have when the mobile plugin id off? I can’t get it, and I’ve decided to switch off the plugin. Thank you
Guys! For the last time we tried to fight with a new AMP possibilities on 9.6.1 We’re going to give up unless you help us…
Once again: what I wanted to achieve? We would like to serve post as an AMP, and pages as an responsive. Why pages as an responsive? Because our pages its more than just a “text + picture” We built on pages something like “subject centers” and we need shortcodes.
I thougt from our earlier discussion, that only option for this is “AMP”. “Mobile” or “AMP + mobile” doesn’t give us a freedom to exclude Pages from AMP. I’m not sure if I understood you correctly; “AMP + Mobile” and “AMP” do not allowed me to exclude any pages even if Icheck this option in AMP plugin? I’m I right?
But I see no differences between “Mobile” and “AMP” settings – they work the same way. In “Mobile”, post and pages are just responsive so does “AMP”. The only option witch generate AMP is “AMP + mobile” but in this case we do not have chance to exclude pages from AMP style. You told me that before.
1) So the question is: Is there any way to publish post as AMP and pages as responsive or I need to wait for an update (do you even planned to do it?)
2) Also I would like to know how managed official plugin AMP for WP with template mode: native. With newspaper theme I am not able to change to set template mode as native. Default set template mode is as paired. More info about template mode is https://amp-wp.org/documentation/developing-wordpress-amp-sites/how-to-develop-with-the-amp-plugin/ Are there template mode is compatible with 3 options from Newspaper c9.6.1, one for only mobile, one for mobile and AMP (this option is working only with the AMP that we provide), and AMP ( this option allow you on which page/post to make AMP, also this option is available only with provided AMP plugin)?
3) Last but not least… Many of us probably use a CleanTalk – one of the most popular anti-spam plugin. There is an interesting conflict. When I try to change setting from “AMP” to another, CleanTalk recognize this action as a spam attack and block it, so I’m unable to make any changes.
Regards and thanks for your patience 😉
Thank you very much for the answer, it helped me a lot. Everything works fast and has a very good result in google PageSpeed Insights.
I have one more question I can not run the script in mobile editor.
This is financial ad in the form <script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://api.systempartnerski.pl/2.0/widget/rxZ3jB9G5Uuww1W39yx/”></script>
I want to run it in mobile editor of https://serwisfinansowy.pl/kredyt-konsolidacyjny/
I tried five different plugins to run php and scripts in wordpress but nothing works :/
I am using Sassy Social Share Plugin for blog posts since the default theme plugin has less sharing options. The plugin works fine on simple mobile version & desktop version of my site but for some reason it doesn’t work on AMP version of my blog posts. Now, when I deactivate mobile theme plugin, sassy social share plugin works fine.
Issue:
The social buttons are supposed to be at the bottom of the page but for some reason they are invisible/hidden but available as can see in the links below. I have enabled all AMP settings of this plugin that were required for it to work but the share buttons just won’t show.
AMP Link: https://www.wentdiary.com/top-17-things-to-do-in-oklahoma-city/?amp
Simple Link: https://www.wentdiary.com/top-17-things-to-do-in-oklahoma-city/
Note:
Social buttons are available but hidden. When the tagDiv mobile theme plugin is deactivated, social buttons start to show!
I am pretty sure this issue has something to do with the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin because I have used other social share plugins too but the problem still persists.
Please resolve.
Hi I created a page with TD composer. The first row has a three column layout where I inserted Elements: Title over Images. The second row has a one column layout where I inserted another Element: Title over Image. The layout looks good on desktop but when I switch to mobile view, the second row cuts off the sides of the Element.
I’d be happy to exclude the second row in mobile view, but I don’t know how to do that. Tried in mobile editor but couldn’t get it to work. Could you please advise?
Hi, I have updated to AMP and Newspaper Mobile Theme. But, I have an 404 error in all pages.
And I have already allowed AMP in all pages, but they are not working. Please, what can I do?
Thank you so much in advance.
Leire
+1 to fix those mobile friendly and speed issues firstly, instead of adding new features which are not really necessary
Hi Support,
could you help to resolve site loading only in mobile mode. Kindly refer below image.
But when i login as a admin and try to access the site it loading in desktop mode as shown below.

I need to load the site only in desktop mode while someone try to reach it from desktop.

Hi Catalin,
Thanks for the reply.
I made the modification in the file by placing the category ID as follows:
<?php
//show mobile grid only if Featured cat exists
if ( get_cat_ID(TD_FEATURED_CAT) !== 0) {
echo do_shortcode('[td_block_big_grid_mob_1 category_id="29" sort="featured"]');
}
?>
<?php the_content(); ?>
But when wanting to use only the posts in the category (id=29) are not shown in the Theme Mobile.
I’m forgetting to do something?
Thanks.
